Como Uma Ubud

Our stay at COMO was truly wonderful and reminded us why great hospitality is about so much more than beautiful facilities. The villa itself is fantastic, offering privacy, comfort, and a stunning setting. The property is beautiful, and the overall service throughout our stay was excellent. However, what made this experience truly special was the people. At one point during our stay, we experienced a small communication issue regarding our villa. After expressing our concern, the Office Manager, Dwi, became personally involved. The way the situation was handled was a perfect example of exceptional service recovery. We felt listened to, understood, and genuinely cared for. During our stay, Dwi and the entire team went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and looked after. Their kindness, warmth, and attention to detail made a real difference and this is the real luxury. Because luxury hotels can offer beautiful rooms and spectacular surroundings, but what guests remember most is how they are made to feel. The team at COMO made us feel valued, cared for, and genuinely welcome. Our sincere thanks to everyone involved. We leave with wonderful memories and look forward to returning in the future. COMO Uma Ubud was everything we hoped for our honeymoon. It felt luxurious without ever feeling overdone. From the moment we arrived, everyone knew who we were and made us feel genuinely welcome. The food was delicious. We loved the breakfast! My husband is still talking about the banana bread! We were so touched that the team packed some for us to take home, emailed us the recipe, and even included a handwritten copy (thank you chef and Made!). This perfectly captured the level of care we experienced throughout our stay. We loved the yoga with Budi, the massages, the morning walk, the beautiful pool, and all of the special honeymoon touches in our room. Everything felt intentional and personal. We left feeling rested, cared for, and already dreaming of coming back. Thank you for making our honeymoon so memorable.

I rarely write reviews, but COMO Uma Ubud genuinely deserves one. We’ve stayed here twice now, and the service was amazing the first time, then somehow even better the second time round. What really stands out is how thoughtful and attentive the team are throughout the stay. Nothing ever feels like too much trouble, from the small details to going out of their way to extend breakfast for us after we arrived back late from an early morning hike, which we were especially grateful for, as the breakfast was one of the highlights of the stay. Everything we ate during our time there was excellent. Dwi in particular was brilliant and really added to what was already an incredible stay. I’m usually the type to try new places for new experiences, but when it comes to staying in Ubud, I honestly wouldn’t choose anywhere else.

COMO Uma Ubud was the perfect start to our honeymoon. The hotel was perfectly situated in Ubud, not too far from most of the major places to visit and see. The staff were excellent, all them taking special attention to know who we are. Breakfast was both yummy with a great view. We also utilized the spa but one of the highlights was the downhill mountain biking tour that included a great view of the mountains and an off the beaten path tour through some villages. The only thing with this property is that the pool was actually quite cold given how big it is and the jungle doesn't allow the sun to naturally warm it up but we still found ourselves dipping in after daily activities to briefly cool off. Very much recommend COMO Ubud!
