What an outstanding stay at Citadines Hotel Resort in Bali! I would give this hotel 6 stars for its exceptional service, especially thanks to GM Patrick, the chef, and the entire team. The in-house AMESPA is fantastic. The staff are friendly, professional, and highly skilled. We enjoyed the massages so much that we went back several times during our 5-day stay. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was warm and personal. Patrick and his team took the time to meet guests, understand their needs, and make sure every detail was well taken care of. This level of genuine and attentive service is truly special. The chef also deserves special mention. The food was excellent, beautifully prepared, and clearly made with passion. The location is another big plus—just a short walk to the shopping area, ATLAS Club, and the beach. It is very convenient for exploring while still offering a comfortable place to relax. Overall, it was a truly memorable experience. I highly recommend this hotel and would happily return!
I really wanted to like this hotel, but unfortunately my stay was very disappointing. Before arrival, I specifically requested the quietest room available. Instead, I was given a room facing a construction site, with loud music from Atlas Beach Club every night. Sleeping was almost impossible. I asked to change rooms because the first one also had a terrible sewage smell. The hotel did move me, but the second room was even closer to the beach club, making the noise even worse. The club operates until around midnight, and afterwards there is another hour or more of constant motorbike traffic. Even with the windows closed, the noise is very noticeable. The soundproofing throughout the hotel is extremely poor. During the day, there are ongoing renovation works with drilling, hammering and construction noise. On top of that, rubbish is regularly burned nearby, and the smell of smoke enters the room even with the balcony door closed. There were also several service issues. The hairdryer in my room was broken. After reporting it, I was brought another broken hairdryer that had clearly not been tested first. There is no conditioner provided in the shower, so you have to keep requesting it from housekeeping. The restaurant service was frustratingly slow. Whether ordering tea and dessert or a full meal, the wait was consistently very long. I also wanted to pay part of my bill in cash and the remainder by card to use my leftover Indonesian currency, but the staff refused and insisted on using only one payment method. The only reason I’m giving this hotel 2 stars instead of 1 is the price. At around AUD $75 per night including a surprisingly good breakfast, it offers reasonable value for budget travellers. If your priority is a low price, you may find it acceptable. But if you’re looking for a quiet, relaxing stay with decent comfort, I would recommend looking elsewhere.
I had a wonderful stay at Citadines Berawa Bali. The rooms were cleaned daily, the bed linen always smelled fresh, and the overall cleanliness was excellent. As someone who is quite particular about cleanliness, I especially appreciated that the bathroom walls were kept spotless and free of mold. The location is fantastic, with boutiques, cafés, and shops all within easy walking distance, making it incredibly convenient to explore the area. The staff were warm, professional, and always willing to help. A special thank you to Diah and Sofa, who were consistently friendly and happy to assist in any way they could. Their exceptional service made my stay even more enjoyable. I will definitely be staying here again on my next trip to Bali.
A perfect, laid-back sanctuary in Canggu; definitely the ideal spot for a relaxing metropolitan escape! For our recent honeymoon, we traveled to Bali with one goal: a slow, tranquil, and unhurried vacation. After enjoying the serenity of Nusa Dua, we moved to Canggu and stayed at Citadines Hotel. The location is unbeatable; it’s just a short walk to Berawa Beach, making it the perfect spot for me to simply sit, unwind, and clear my mind while soaking in the coastal vibes. The staff greeted us with such genuine warmth, taking time to chat and offer great local recommendations. I adore the architecture and interior design—it’s simple, warm, and exceptionally comfortable. The semi-open concept is a highlight, allowing the refreshing ocean breeze to flow throughout the building. I also fell in love with their lemongrass-scented soap and lotion; OH I REALLY LOVE IT SO MUCH! AAAAA LUUVVVVV
