A Little Piece of Heaven in Ubud Our stay at Cicada Resort Bali Ubud, Autograph Collection was truly exceptional. The property is a little piece of heaven on earth, beautifully maintained, peaceful, and surrounded by the natural beauty that makes Ubud so special. Our room was impeccable, and we were extremely grateful for the beautiful and generous accommodation we received as Marriott Bonvoy Ambassador Elite guests. The entire property was exceptionally clean, the food at the restaurant was top notch, and we thoroughly enjoyed the entertainment. What truly distinguished Cicada, however, was the service. The team has mastered something that is increasingly rare in hospitality: listening to understand and anticipate a guest's needs rather than simply listening to respond. One small moment perfectly captured this. While dining at the restaurant, I mentioned to my friend that I was feeling hot and was sweating. Without my asking for anything, a team member noticed and came over with a cold towel. The same thoughtful attention happened again during checkout. While speaking with Ms. Kartika, the Duty Manager, I mentioned that I was hot, and she immediately arranged for a cold towel to be brought to me. These may seem like small gestures, but they represent luxury hospitality at its best. It is the ability to observe, anticipate, and act before a guest even needs to ask. We were also consistently impressed by the professionalism and warmth of the entire staff. No matter whom we encountered throughout the property, we were greeted with a genuine smile and gracious hospitality. It is clear that Cicada has built a strong service culture, and the management team should be extremely proud of their people. My only suggestion would be further investment in the fitness center. A larger and better equipped gym would bring that part of the experience up to the same exceptional standard as the rest of the resort. As a Marriott Bonvoy Ambassador Elite member who has had the opportunity to stay at many properties around the world, I recognize when a hotel delivers something special. Cicada Resort Bali Ubud absolutely did. A beautiful property, wonderful food, exceptional people, and genuinely thoughtful service. We left extremely satisfied and look forward to returning.

The room was beautiful and elegant with a great sense of the taste!The entire hotel was stunning, but what truly made the stay special was the warm and attentive service from every member of the team. I especially enjoyed the spa and the Water Blessing experience. The fire show at dinner was also great. I liked that it was held several times so everyone had a chance to see it. A special thank you to Kartika and Ayu for taking such good care of me during my stay! Everything was lovely, and I would definitely love to come back again!

Cicada Resort completely stole our hearts. Every detail felt special, the private holy purification ceremony, sunrise yoga, afternoon teas, and sundowner drinks all made for an unforgettable stay. Nestled beautifully in nature, with stunning architecture and a peaceful atmosphere, this place feels like a different world. A heartfelt thank you to Gus, Ari, and Tika🙏🏻 Their warmth and genuine care made us feel at home from day one. Dining at Tangelo was a highlight in itself: exceptional fine dining paired with traditional dance performances. We visited the spa daily, and it was simply outstanding. Our private pool villa was elegant, with thoughtful touches like a daily-replenished premium tea selection, small details that made a big difference. We left with unforgettable memories and can’t wait to return.

My wife and I came to Cicada Resort Bali Ubud for our anniversary trip, and we joined a yoga class with Tupu teacher. It was such a peaceful and meaningful experience in the middle of nature. Tupu’s guidance was warm, calming, and easy to follow, even for beginners. The sound of the birds, the fresh air, and the beautiful surroundings made the class even more special. We were truly satisfied and grateful for this memorable experience during our stay. Thank you, Tupu!
