The hotel looks beautiful in photos, but unfortunately, my stay was disappointing. I understand that insects are common in nature-rich areas, but there was an ant nest in the room, resulting in a huge number of ants. Many of them even got onto my personal belongings. I do appreciate that the staff immediately changed my room. The staff were very friendly overall, and the welcome drink and breakfast were delicious. However, I felt uncomfortable and unsafe when one male staff member asked for my contact information and then offered me a massage.

The resort is just so beautiful and relaxing.
The pictures you find in the comments are for real. There is a lot of rice terraces around but you will not see them from the pool.
The bad thing is that it’s 20 minutes away from the center + traffic, but they have a shuttle 3 times a day that get you to the center of ubud.
Service was great and the workers there are just too kind.
The hotel’s restaurant is good enough nut i had better food around Ubud.
The only thing i didn’t like was the spa service. I thought it would be a resort experience but all the was is a little cabin with ladies that were not even in uniform so it felt unprofessional. The stone massage was good enough but the price was too much for the whole experience. I wiuld not recommend their spa services.
We had a wonderful 6-night stay at Anumana Village Ubud and can absolutely recommend it.
The surroundings are simply beautiful and peaceful, and our room was very well equipped and comfortable. The quality of the food was excellent, and the hospitality and service were truly outstanding. Everyone was incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay.
It is a smaller hotel with only a limited number of rooms, which we really appreciated. It gives the place a much more intimate and homey atmosphere compared to larger resorts.
The location is also ideal. Ubud centre is just a short drive away, while the hotel is far enough from the busy streets that you don’t have to deal with traffic noise. It was a great balance between convenience and tranquillity.
We also enjoyed the wellness experiences, especially the massages. They were extremely relaxing, and the therapists had very good technique.
Overall, we had an amazing experience and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!

the hospitality is amazing. we had a lot of issues with our gojek delivery and it arrived cold, and the staff offered to heat it up and even took it out of the boxes and into proper plates and bowls. kindness is unmatched. staff are also very friendly in general
I had the best time staying here. The staff go above and beyond to make your stay memorable. They were so lovely and attentive. The hotel itself was located in a picturesque location that is slightly far away from the hustle and bustle of Ubud, but don’t worry, getting to the town was made easy with the free hotel shuttle which was amazing. The last one was at 5pm so if you enjoy staying out late, you’ll have to get a gojek, which we had no issue booking.
We stayed in the garden suite which was very pleasant. The only thing I’d fault is that the aircon was a bit noisy, otherwise it was quite a large room with a beautiful front garden. The hotel itself is quiet and peaceful. The pool/spa area is beautiful and relaxing. Due to the boutique nature of the hotel, it never felt overcrowded and we often had the pool area to ourselves. It would be fantastic if the pool hours were extended slightly later into the night.
The hotel provided us with 4 bottles of water which was fantastic (the most any hotel in Bali has provided). The breakfast provided in the morning was so convenient and included a main meal of choice, fresh fruit, fresh juice and coffee.
We didn’t get the name of every staff member, however we’d like to thank them all, especially Ana. I celebrated my birthday during the trip, and Ana and the staff made my day so special by organising a massage session. The hotel decorated my bed and had a cake for me, upon my return to the hotel that night.
I highly recommend staying at this hotel if you visit Ubud, for a relaxing and unforgettable trip. Truly beautiful scenery and amazing staff.
