Anggira Villa Ubud

We came here with my husband to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and this place left us with such warm memories. It’s not a large chain resort, but a small family-run villa where you truly feel not just like a guest, but like someone genuinely welcomed. When we first arrived, the owner, Made, told us that they treat their guests like family. And those were not just words — we felt it throughout our entire stay. Made and his assistant, Kanya, were incredibly kind, attentive, and caring, always doing their best to help and make our stay as comfortable as possible. The villa itself is very spacious, cozy, and well maintained. Everything is clean, beautiful, and thoughtfully arranged. What stood out most were the little details that reflected their hospitality: for example, when a coconut fell in the yard, they immediately made us a fresh drink from it. And for our anniversary, they prepared a small cake for us — it was such a touching gesture. Every request we had was met with a sincere desire to help. We would also like to especially mention the breakfasts served directly in the villa. Kanya cooks incredibly delicious food — even a simple omelet was one of the best we had during our trip. The breakfasts were varied and always prepared with care and heart. We left feeling as though we had been visiting good friends. We already miss this place and will remember the hospitality of Made and Kanya for a long time.

From the moment we arrived, we were embraced by the warm essence of Balinese culture — the fragrance of frangipani flowers welcoming us and setting the perfect tone for a serene, spiritual escape. The villa itself is super comfy, beautifully maintained, and offers a peaceful atmosphere that instantly makes you feel at home. The swimming pool was sparkling clean and absolutely gorgeous — our kids spent hours splashing and having fun every single day! A heartfelt thank you to Made, the amazing host, whose hospitality truly elevated our stay. He was incredibly welcoming and helpful, ensuring every little detail was taken care of — from arranging soothing in-room massages to organizing fresh breakfasts that fit perfectly with our schedule. We left with our hearts full and can’t wait to return to this little piece of paradise!

The owner (his name is 'Made') and head of Staff Kania, we're so wonderful that we couldn't of had better hosts. The Villas were amazingly clean (bug free inside the rooms). The beds were comfortable and the amenities were great. Bonus amenity was the water bubbler! The Villa is well enclosed with a great pool for the kids as it wasn't to deep. There was plenty of space for the kids to be kids. The in-house services we quite good as well. From breakfasts to massages in the rooms, to day trips to rice fields, it's all there if you ask Madé. I was very happy to have stayed there and I would highly recommend to families, couples or anyone who wants to escape the hustle and bustle of Kuta or Seminyak but not to far from a restaurant or late night snack at the mart. 🙂

Anggira Villa is our favorite stay in whole Bali. This was the third time we’ve been here and it feels like coming home to family! The villa is super clean, everything to your needs, nice beds, lovely pool, outside kitchen and living which is so quiet and peaceful. Made, Iluh and Ketut made our stay exceptional again. Nothing is too much, Ketut knows I love dadar gulung and she made it every morning. Made is always there to help us out if we need something and also Iluh is super helpful and kind. Really sad to leave again, but definitely will be back next year and already looking forward to it. Please book here, you will not regret it!
