Very poorly managed property and in an isolated location. Avoid booking at all costs. It's just boosted on Agoda and other OTAs to get more cust. visibility and imo it doesn't deserve to be rated 4-star at all! Is not even appropriately staffed also during the nights. The room is also not that great, found a lot of dead flies on the bed. Bathroom is fully outdoor and not even enclosed. This should be called out somewhere in their listing and is not talked about enough. I couldn't even use it post sunset, there were frogs or lizards around the wash basin and commode all the time. Only advantage is that it's in a scenic setting. Nothing even remotely good apart from that. We booked the stay for 2 nights..we arrived at the resort at 8pm and were shocked to find only 3 staff members at that time. We checked out on the same night and moved to a 3-star hotel and basic amenities now seem so premium to me and I am so happy we decided to move out early. While checking out also, there was no one to even inform at the reception. We just told the security guy and left. Felt like a very isolated and scary place after 7pm. There is no proper support or resolution for any of the queries or requests we had. All that we got to hear was "speak to the manager tomorrow morning". For such an isolated resort, there's no one to contact Incase of any emergencies at night... I went to the reception 3 times in the night, between 9.30 to 11pm only to find it empty and no one around. Security were good and helped us by coming till the reception to take us back to the main gate. It's an entirely ill-lit place and unnavigable estate in the night. Would never recommend any one to even stay there.

We were very happy with our stay! We arrived before check in time and were still able to check in, we even got a free upgrade to one of the villa's! The staff is very friendly, the food (balinese chicken) was tasty and the scenery of the resort is absolutely beautiful!
Unsafe, Unhygienic, and Unacceptable Service: My stay at Adiwana Dar Ayu Resort was a catalog of failures that left our group feeling unsafe, disrespected, and deeply disappointed. Basic Needs Ignored: - Only two tiny bottles of water per room per day. When we asked to purchase more, staff claimed there was none available on site. In a tropical climate, this is not just inconvenient, it’s unacceptable. - The food was very poor. My margarita pizza was clearly frozen and reheated. My friends’ meals were equally disappointing, with one served a rotten coconut (admitted to be over a week old) and no fresh replacement offered. Unsafe and Unsanitary Conditions: - My room was damp, with sheets damp to touch. - The outdoor doors (balcony and side door) didn’t lock, meaning anyone could enter at any time. - My friend’s bathroom bin was still filthy from the previous guest, reeking and uncleaned even after we reported it. Hostile and Unprofessional Staff: - The resort was severely understaffed, and when we complained, the manager was arrogant, unwilling to listen, and became angry on the phone. Instead of addressing our concerns in the morning as requested, he threatened to confront us at 11 PM at night, the time of the phone conversation. - No transparency about security: Two men (later revealed to be security) were loitering near our remote rooms without any prior notice. As a group of young women, this was unnerving and inappropriate. - Accessibility Issues: - The rooms are only accessible by hopping along over stepping stones, which is not only inconvenient but a safety hazard for anyone with mobility issues. This resort fails on every level: safety, hygiene, service, and basic hospitality. Avoid unless you are prepared for stress, discomfort, and being treated with contempt. I will never return, and I strongly advise others to look elsewhere.
Everything was very beautiful. Our room and the villa’s garden were wonderful. Everything was very tidy and clean. The food was very delicious and beautifully presented. The staff were extremely kind and exceeded all our expectations. The villa’s driver helped us a lot with sightseeing, and thanks to him we were able to visit many beautiful places. Thank you very much for the warm hospitality. We can only recommend the Adiwana Dara Ayu Villa to everyone. There are also many programs to choose from within the hotel, such as romantic breakfasts and baths. Even those who prefer to stay only in the hotel will not get bored. You can also take walks around the rice terraces.
Location is stunning in the jungle, however there is not much to do except be at the hotel as its very secluded, which is great for a while but get bored. The staff were very helpful and friendly. They should have some incense or mosquito coils available as mosquito's at night. The also have a no outside food policy which I think is a bit silly. The rooms were not very nice. A bit of mould around, which I understand because its in the jungle but still not great. The outdoor bathroom is a bit weird as lots of bugs but very pretty. The hot water for the bath needs attention, wasn't hot enough to keep bath hot, but fine for shower. I like their policy on children. None allowed haha. Overall I did like it mainly because of views and being in a beautiful place.
