For the fee that was charged , tour could be better. Wineries wre nice, but tour in itself were not worth the price. On there own they were good wineries .

Unreal day out, you see a lot of the island and enjoy wine at the same time, how good! Our tour guide was very knowledgeable as well which was super helpful in learning about the history of not only the island but the wineries themselves.
A great afternoon ! Linda is just awesome. Beautiful to be a tourist in our city and enjoy a day off work relaxing and tasting some new and beautiful wines. Mudbrick is a stand out and just lovely. Highly recommend this trip.
Great tour and Linda was a fantastic tour guide! Excellent choice of wineries (Batch, SoHo, Mudbrick) and lunch at Ki Māha was delicious! Perfect day!
Excellent wine tasting tour. Linda was fantastic, lunch was delicious and in a beautiful setting. Each of the wineries were lovely - unique personalities, great wine and beautiful surroundings. We thoroughly enjoyed this tour.
We have the most wonderful afternoon! Spectacular lunch and spectacular experiences! Kevin was a blast and our group was an unexpected surprise! Love it and highly recommend’
We had the BEST day touring Waiheke Island with Oliver! He was so informative, friendly and relatable, making the whole experience enjoyable from start to finish. Oliver has a wonderful way of sharing his knowledge while making everyone feel comfortable and welcome. We got to see so much of the island and thoroughly enjoyed every moment. He really made our day extra special, and we couldn’t recommend him highly enough. If you’re lucky enough to have Oliver as your tour guide, you’re in for a fantastic day! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
We had a great experience on this tour. Small friendly tour group, lovely wineries, good food and a superb guide, Caleb, who was friendly, easy-going and informative. Would highly recommend.

Best time! Our guide Noo’roa was so fun and knowledgeable wines and scenery stunning!! Would definitely recommend to everyone
It was a really good expérience, Thanks to sophia for the tour !
Fantastic lunch and wine tastings. Our guide Caleb was excellent, great local knowledge - thank you!
We a fantastic afternoon with our guide Debbie, she shared some wonderful stories about the island and the people, the Māori culture and her amazing skills at crafting with flax and making Māori shawls (I forget the Māori name for them). The wineries are delightful and the meal we had was delicious with the most beautiful views of the beach. I would highly recommend booking a tour with Waiheke Wine Tours to get the more personal touch from a local.
Had a great day on Waiheke island. Our guide Rob was funny and knowledgeable. The wineries were beautiful and the wine was delicious. Our lunch at 372 was fantastic with great views of the water.
It was a wonderful tour with a great guide that is from the area. The location for lunch was delicious with beautiful views. The wineries were well selected also.
Great guide and driver. Beautiful location for lunch.
An excellent tour with a really entertaining and informative guide. Shirley was a treasure. Lunch was also exceptional and the view simply stunning. The whole group was very entertaining.
What a fantastic afternoon! Our tour guide Shirley was incredible. Very knowledgeable with lots of facts about Waiheke, the culture, and the wine and wineries (of course). Lunch at Ki Māha was so delicious! We’re so happy we chose the smaller, more intimate group. With only eight of us it was easy to engage and get to know all the fun couples traveling with us. The whole afternoon felt very private and personal. Delightful!!
Great fun, great food, plenty of win and gorgeous scenery. I’ll be back. Thanks to Sylvia (our guide) for a very special day. P
First time in Waikeke island and decided against the hop on hop off, in favor of Debbie's tour. We are so glad! The lunch was fabulous and the tour was very interesting! If you go, order the Tagu rump. The best beef you'll have!
Excellent small group tour with Waiheke wine tours. A great guide, (Shirley), with a lovely lunch and three wineries. Would highly recommend. Trip advisor, as the go between, complicated matters by confusing the currency that we purchase in, garbling and delaying messages and instructions from the actual operator.
Thank you Zoltan! Our afternoon excursion to three different wineries was delightful. Our tour guide, Zoltan, retrieved us from the reserved ferry, where we met four other lovely couples. It was a great time. We highly recommend it.
This was truly one of the best tours I’ve ever been on in any country. The tour guide, Paora, went above and beyond. He is the kindest, most genuine person. He truly cares for the people he is guiding. The women who work in the offices of this company were also the nicest and most accommodating. I ended up in the tour office and they took the very best care of me. The vineyards we visited were amazing and we had such a wonderful lunch as well. I highly recommend this beautiful tour and the company.
Firstly, our driver and tour guide Rob was excellent, the perfect host - friendly, informative and fun. We really enjoyed the tastings and all the hosts and presenters at the wineries were brilliant. We met some great people on the tour who came from different corners of the world. Lunch was okay; wonderful venue and location, friendly staff, but food a little disappointing. (Dips served late, beef mains a little bit tough). Only one thing let this trip down: the admin behind it. We booked our tour in late November 2025. We were sent ferry information which suggested two alternative ferry companies to get to Waiheke, one being recommended over the other. The website link to the recommended ferry company was wrong. The ferry times given were also wrong, so that the recommended company wouldn't have got us there in time for the tour. I contacted Waiheke Wine Tours for clarification and received a short, terse response stating that in fact, only one ferry would get us there on time - the 11am Fullers ferry. We have email conversations to prove all this. The mistakes have neither been acknowledged nor apologised for by the company. Others on the tour had a similar experience. My current review is the third version so far, because all the company ever does is argue the toss and try to avoid admitting any accountability whatsoever. If this were my company, I'd be saying something like 'apologies for the incorrect information and links, we'll review our processes to prevent this happening in the future, but we're so glad you enjoyed the tour' - or something along those lines. Given the attitude of the company we would not book with them again. Which is a shame, because Rob and the hosts were great.
We had a wonderful time on this tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable and provided fun facts and commentary about the island. The wineries were lovely and the wines were very good.
Awesome day, we wanted to do this island wine tour and we nailed it! Rob was amazing and he’s lived on the island for so long his knowledge was first class. So many beautiful wineries to choose from but Rob picked a great list and we loved every one of them. We scored with a beautiful Waiheke summer day which made it even more memorable but I’d do it again even if it was pouring rain.
Our host/guide Karen was exceptional. She was kind and personable and kept us on track and on pace for our trip. Her enthusiasm and humor were greatly appreciated. The tour itself was interesting enough and fun, I had some good wines and some...not so good wines haha but that's the nature of a tasting. The meal we had for lunch was delicious and I thought the length of time was just about right overall. My only complaint was that the lunch was first and then all the tastings. I would have loved to have a tasting or 2 then a meal and then a tasting or two after rather than the lunch first. But otherwise, a very good experience overall.
Awesome day. Waiheke is absolutely stunning and a must see if in auckland. It’s an easy ferry ride from Auckland, where a tour guide meets you and then shuttles you around to lunch and wineries and a small private bus. The wineries and tastings were all great and the guide was fantastic and local so was able to share awesome insights and of course friendly! It was such a great day that i ended up deciding to stay on the island at the last winery for dinner after the official tour ended. Definitely recommend, was a great experience as advertised.
Such a wonderful day out! Our guide Nooroa was fantastic and very knowledgeable- he made an effort to get to know everyone and make us feel comfortable. The lunch was excellent and the wines were fantastic. Highly recommend!
Nooroa is very funny. He is knowledgeable and when asked him questions, he can present his answers to us in an interesting way that make us remember and laugh. He remembers all 8 of our names and where are we from throughout the tour from 11.20am to 5.30pm, amazing!
Nooroa was the most amazing guide So friendly and knowledgeable! He was very accomodating and showed us a super fun day!
Everything was truly excellent; the destinations we visited, the comprehensive explanations provided, and the evident passion for the island and its wines were simply wonderful. The schedule was meticulously maintained, and the driver and tour guide were exceptionally friendly and entertaining, making the experience even more enjoyable.
