Our tour guide Cami was terrific. She has lived on island for over 25 years and was very informative and helpful. Highly recommend this tour!

Absolutely fabulous experience! Cami from the Wine Tasting Company was one of the best guides I have had in recent years. She was informative, clear to hear with her handy headset while we were in the van, showed us beautiful spots, and brought us to amazing wineries. I appreciated learning so much about Waiheke Island and appreciating her home. She coordinated my pickup and drop off with maximum efficiency and I had no anxiety throughout the whole experience. I very much appreciated all her efforts. The wineries were absolutely excellent. My favorite was the Wild on Waiheke vineyard which seriously made me envision buying wine and getting it back to the States. I left feel very relaxed.

Great tour This was my third wine tour on the island, with three different companies, and this was the best one. Cami, the guide, was very knowledgeable and entertaining, and showed some “secret spots” that previous tours didn’t cover.

Cami the tour operator was great the wineries were excellent the trip and views exceeded every expectation. This experience is one that should be not be missed

Cami (and Tui!) was incredible during our first trip to Waiheke. Cami was so knowledgeable when it came to all things wine and Waiheke. We loved learning about the history of Waiheke and all the wineries on the island. The van was also so comfortable when it came to going from winery to winery. They make it so easy to enjoy a day on Waiheke with excellent tastings at multiple wineries on the island!

Sam was amazing, great knowledge, super accomodating, he even managed to get us to an additional vineyard. It’s a memorable day and we’d definitely come back to Waiheke after our great experience. Thank you!

Nydia was our tour guide and she’s exceptional! She confirmed with us our ferry timing beforehand and waited for us at the ferry terminal. She’s very knowledgeable and provided us with many information about Waiheke Island which we really appreciated. She even went out of the way to arrange a wine tasting for us at Casita Miro just because I asked even though our original itinerary was supposed to be at another vineyard instead. Highly recommend The Wine Tasting Company and Nydia!!

Beautiful island and wineries. Very relaxed, enjoyable and informative.

This was a great day, Cami was wonderful. We actually arrived early and Cami found us and drove us up to village while we waited for others to arrive. We really enjoyed the wineries we went to, especially Casita Miro. Cami gave us all the information we needed, felt very safe with her driving.

Well organised for small group tasting, not rushed, great experience. Cami our guide was informative and nothing too much trouble, brilliant lady. Picked us up at our accommodation and kept us well informed of timings. Small wineries visited and there were no crowds on our trip. Would highly recommend this trip.

2 of 3 wineries were average. One was exceptional (Casita Miro…Spanish theme). This based on atmosphere and wine tasting. Excellent diverse group made it fun. We’ve been on better tours in Napa.

This is an amazing day visiting the best wineries on the Island with an expert guide! We were so lucky to have Dean as our leader because his knowledge as a local winemaker was so excellent.

Tour was amazing! Loved the more intimate smaller group setting. Dean was very knowledgeable about the area and how the wine industry has changed over the years on the island. Aries’ presentation at Casita Miro was like watching an actor performing in front of a big audience and it was only 6 of us. Linda, our guide, was personable, warm, and kind. She went out of her way to make sure we had a great experience which we did! The entire day and experience was top notch! Would definitely recommend doing this tour!! I like the smaller group and smaller van, opposed to the large tour bus.

Linda was great! Couple intimate vineyards that felt like you were getting a great heartbeat of the island and what it stood for. Would definitely recommend and do it again!

Our tour guide Dean was great, very attentive and knowledgeable. He was waiting for us as we came out of the ferry and was with us the whole day. The two first wineries we visited were great ( Postal Stamp and Awaroa). They were small boutique wineries, that was what we were expecting, their wines were good and the hostesses very kind. Lunch was also great and in a most beautiful setting. The third and last winery we visited ( Cableway) left a lot to be desired. The location of the winery is great with the most beautiful view, but the service was horrible. They squeezed the 11 of us in a small corner and the hostess was in such a hurry that we didn’t have time even to see what wine she was pouring. I don’t recommend the visit to this winery in particular. Everything else was great.

Dantastic day spent with our guide and chauffeur, Sam. He grew up and lives on Waiheke. (Also a wine aficionado.) Three great wineries visited and a 100+ minute lunch (not included in the fee). I most strongly recommend this tour.

What a great day! Cami was awesome from start to finish. She told us about the Island and took us to some really excellent wineries starting with Postage Stamp and ending with a fun time with Jake at Mudbrick. We got to try some really excellent wines along the way and stopped for lunch at Stoney ridge winery. Also excellent. Even the weather was perfect after a slightly damp start in Auckland.

Nydia was great as were the wineries. Also a nice bunch of people that were fun to meet.

We had the pleasure of being guided by Margot who was a wonderful tour guide. She was kind, knowledgeable and made the entire tour a fun experience for us. We were able to stop in the village briefly to explore before our first tasting and Margot provided fun and interesting facts about New Zealand, Auckland and Waiheke. She shared great information about the history and culture of the country throughout the tour and kept us engaged throughout. We had an amazing time and would love to return for another tour some day!

Margot was amazing from start to finish, amazing winery’s, gorgeous food - even if the view wasn’t the best due to the huge amount of rain on the day. Overall day was amazing and a great way to spend a mother and daughter day out sipping fine wine and eating gorgeous food. Thank you team.

We did the Best Cellar Wine Tour with Cami. What a fantastic day. Cami was brilliant in providing background on the Island and obviously has great relationships with the 3 vineyards we visited. At each we had a dedicated expert explaining the background to the wines and vineyards in fabulous locations. Also Cami booked a fabulous spot by the beach for lunch. Highly recommended

It was a great day not only visiting three vineyards but exploring the beautiful island Waiheke Camy (sp?) -- the owner of the operation. Highly recommended.

Perfect small group led by a lovely and personable guide. We had a gorgeous, sunny day. Plenty of time to explore on your own and also kept time as a group wonderfully. We visited three wineries and another for lunch. I really enjoyed the pace and the beauty of Waiheke Island.

We had a great wine tour with our wonderful and friendly tour guides. Two sisters touring people to wineries on the island. 4 stops in all some tastings better than others the top was Miro that included tastings to enhance the wines. Relaxed pace and good time. Perfect amount of time for lunch and you guessed mor wine. My wife and I were traveling and we met some nice families along the way. Some local to Auckland others from Ireland and Australia. Great time.

Trip was absolutely fantastic and far exceeded my expectations. The island is beautiful and the vineyards (& wines) were all amazing and so different. I was travelling solo which worried me before I went however I met such lovely people it was wonderful from start to finish. The ferry ride to the island was a treat too. Our guide was superb.

This is a great small group tour. The wines were very good, and the scenery is outstanding! I highly recommend! Margot met us at the ferry dock, and hosted us at 4 different wineries. Each was unique and provided an excellent overview of wineries on Waiheke. We had a wonderful time!

We had the loveliest time on this wine tour, it was the perfect way to spend a relaxing day! Nydia was a fantastic tour guide sharing fun facts about Waiheke and showing us around the island. The vineyards we visited were beautiful and the wine was delicious. Everything was seamless - our tastings were reserved so when we showed up everything was ready. The people who led the tastings at each vineyard were also wonderful - I learned so much!

What a great day we had with our tour guide Heidi De Vries. We started with a great cup of coffee and then we visited four exceptional wineries, with lunch at Stonyridge Vineyard. Heidi shared stories about her island as well as the wines we tasted. We experienced true New Zealand weather cold, windy, sunny and hot in one day. Truly a marvelous and relaxing day.

Margot and Heidi are the easiest people to communicate with. Above and beyond expectations. Such a faboulous day. Loved our wine tour.

My husband and I went on this tour during our honeymoon trip and first time to New Zealand and it was such a fun day! Our tour guide for the day was so fun and the group we were with kept us laughing all day. We have been on other winery tours throughout Europe but this was very relaxed and fun in comparison and the wines were all very good and different than the NZ wine we are used to in the US. We got to attend 4 wineries with lunch at one of them - Postage Stamp, Casita Miro, Stonyridge, and Mudbrick. These were all the main ones I had wanted to visit so I was very excited for this surprise. Thanks Lydia for a fun start to our honeymoon! 🤗

Great tour, our tour Guide called Heidi was fabulous. She gave us loads of local information and the vineyards we visited were really good.

Had a great day. I’m a non drinker and essentially went along as it was a birthday treat for my husband. I was not made to feel uncomfortable with hot drinks and refreshments offered at all wineries. Lunch was my only criticism as it was so busy and our order was forgotten. Our group was brilliant and vehicle and guide great. It’s a great way to see the beautiful Island and learn some facts along the way.

Wonderful day with a fabulous tour guide (Netta) in a small van. We experienced 3 very different wineries plus a delightful lunch at the highest point on the island. Included were various points of interest and vistas along the way. The only thing I'd suggest woukd be that bottles of water maybe be on the van.... overall highly recommend!

Wow Fantastic day with Heidi more than a tour guide bus driver ,she made you feel Kline you’ve known her for years Island was not what I expected( in a great way ) Wineries were amazing I loved Postage stamp myself great introductions to the wines ! Scenarios were amazing and the lovely Heidi even drove me back to the other port as o booked the other ferry company lol

Completed this trip with the lovely Heidi today ..made you feel right at home with her hospitality. Amongst a day filled with great views,food,wine and company I couldn’t fault it . Will be passing the word on for sure Definitely a must do if you’re looking for a way to see Waiheke. But please not you need to get the fullers ferry as the SeaLink drops you at the Marina
