From the moment Nelson picked us up we had an amazing day. Such an informative driver with a knowledge of NZ. Hobbiton was just fantastic and this was enhanced by the beautiful weather and Nelson’s stories along g the way. Our guide for Hobbiton was just as great and friendly. Caves were interesting would have been good to see a bit more about the glowworms included. Back to Auckland and a little stop in the way at a homey shop.

The Hobbiton tour was amazing!! We arrived with enough time to get breakfast and visit the souvenir store.
Our guide was fantastic, and both my brother and I had such a great time! We even received a Hobbiton cup as a “compensation” because they were doing some works in a small part of the field. I barely noticed it… but the detail made the experience even more special.
The Waitomo Caves are absolutely stunning! so beautiful that almost look unreal. It truly feels like looking at a million galaxies.
Overall, a wonderful experience and definitely one I would highly recommend.
