Auckland: 13,000, 16,000 Or 18,000ft Tandem Skydive

My first ever skydive, jumping from an incredible 18,000ft, and what an experience it was! From the moment I was picked up by Mark, the experience was fantastic. Mark was really friendly and, being originally from the UK (where I'm from too), made me feel welcome straight away. As it was my first day in New Zealand, he even took the time during the 45-minute drive to point out places of interest and share a bit of local knowledge. The whole team at Skydive Auckland were brilliant. From Mark, who provided transport as well as helped the ground crew, to Joe, Alex, pilot Pierce and, of course, my tandem instructor Sam. Everyone was friendly, professional and reassuring. They explained everything clearly, made sure I knew what to expect and put me completely at ease. At no point did I feel worried or nervous about going ahead. And then came the jump! Sam talked me through every stage, making sure I knew what was happening and what to do. The freefall was absolutely insane – an experience that's difficult to put into words. Just be prepared for plenty of ear popping! It all happens so quickly, but it's an incredible feeling and something I'll never forget. I would also highly recommend purchasing the video and photo package. I pre-purchased mine and it was definitely worth it. The quality of the videos and photos was excellent and gives me something to look back on forever, as well as proof to show friends and family that I actually did it! For anyone who has ever considered skydiving, I would highly recommend Skydive Auckland. The entire team made what could have been a daunting experience feel easy, enjoyable and unforgettable. First skydive, 18,000ft, and absolutely loved every second. 10/10 – would definitely recommend!

From start to finish, the jump was amazing! Joel and Olli got me prepped with harnesses and went through safety info prior to the jump. They were both super informative and fun to work with. I jumped with the instructor Jacob, who I will 1000% be requesting when I come back because he was full of energy and good vibes. He was solid on the safety foundation and did allow us to do a backflip after jumping out of the plane at 16k feet, which I was so grateful for. He truly made the experience. We had Madi jumping with us for the ultimate photo/video package which I highly recommend as well. The package itself covers everything you could ever want and Madi was so sweet and amazing. Pierce was our pilot who kept us safe and got us to where we needed to be, huge thank you to him! Everyone at Skydive Auckland makes you want to be their best friend because of their cool vibes and positive energy. You’re immediate family there. I can’t wait to go back!

One of the best jumps I have had and will have! The views are unbelievable. The experience was great from beginning to end. My instructor, Owen, was so much fun to jump with. Joe and Olí can’t be forgotten as they made the pre-jump all the more memorable. Pierce, the pilot, also made for a smooth and easy flight up. I would easily come back here!

Madi was the loveliest dive master and made me feel so comfortable from start to finish. Joseph got THE BEST shots ever — the Ultimate Video package was definitely worth it! 📸 And Alex was amazing with all the assistance throughout. Everyone was so lovely and professional. Just tandom jumped at 13 000 ft from an airplane and wow that is intense exhilarating and scary all at once! The free fall is unlike anything I have experienced before! No rollercoaster comes close! Will definitely do again! The instructions and instructor were really reassuring and confidence inspiring with clear and frequent communication! Very professional and experienced.

My whole experience with Skydive Auckland was wonderful. At first, I booked the 11 am jump but that one did not have a free shuttle to the place. So, I contacted the place and they quickly and easily reschedule me for the 10 am jump instead. Our driver, Mark, was super friendly driving us to and from the airport. He was also friendly while gearing us up. The check-in and safety briefing was super quick and easy to understand. They had a nice seating area while waiting for your jump. You could see other loads when they jumped and landed. We did have to wait a tad longer than expected because of the fog, but it was worth the wait. My tandem master, Madi, was amazing. Even after the so many other jumps she had that day, she was still so energetic and bubbly. I felt very safe and comfortable with her. I purchased the video and photo package and Madi made sure to get the best video of me possible. Overall this place was great for my first time skydiving. They made the experience as easy as possible. Every worker seemed so passionate and happy to be there. It was just a great atmosphere overall.

I did the 18,000ft skydive with Skydive Auckland and the whole experience was absolutely amazing from start to finish! Glen and Alex were brilliant as the ground crew – really welcoming, friendly and full of positive energy. This was in celebration of my 70th and our friends 21st Birthdays. WOW what a way to celebrate. The team are very helpful and informative through the entire end to end process ensuring you are not nervous or worried about any aspect of the experience. We did the 13000 ft jump so next time we are going back to do the 18,000ft jump. Its and incredible rush and so amazing to see both the East & West coastline. From our ground crew Alex & Oliver to our jump team Elian and Madi we cant thank you enough for an incredible experience which has left both of us wanting more.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ If you're going to do it... do it from the highest! 2026 is my Year of Yes, so despite having a genuine fear of heights, I decided to jump from 18,000 feet. What an experience! From the moment I arrived, the team made me feel completely safe and well looked after. My jump master, Balzy, was calm, professional, and had me laughing the whole way through, which definitely helped settle the nerves. Jo, who captured my photos and video, did an incredible job of preserving every second of the adventure. The adrenaline, the freefall, the views... absolutely unforgettable. I never imagined I'd go from being terrified of heights to loving every second of it. If you're even thinking about doing a skydive, stop thinking and book it. Auckland Skydive delivered an experience I'll remember for the rest of my life.

My first solo trip, and I chose to jump out of a plane 🪂 Today was more than just skydiving — it was about facing my fears and trusting myself. From the moment I arrived, Glenn and Alex made everything so easy and comfortable with their guidance. To all the crew at SKYDIVE AUCKLAND! Kia Ora! Well, where do I start the second time around. I knew what to expect after my first jump. I told several people about my first experience and comments like, 'why do that are you mad'. 'Oh I wouldn't do that'. It was disappointing to hear such negative comments. My daughter did say 'Oh wow really how awesome', which was great to hear. The free fall remains an integral part of skydiving for me feeling the wind on my face, yet the photos do tell a different story! The 18000 feet jump remains highly recommended. The scenery is stunning from such heights. Landing is always a positive experience, being safe and sound on level footing. The end of the jump comes all too soon unfortunately. The second time around I must say was even better than the first. A big thank you to my tandem instructor/master Elion, whose calm nature and experience certainly showed. I think we were the last to land WOW what an experience you just can't beat it! To Pierce for taking us up to 18000 feet and making your way back to solid ground/earth time and time again. It was awesome to be so close to all the action while in the plane and Pierce made it special with all the turns while flying up to 18000 feet. We made it to 18000 feet safely and the return journey back to solid ground was viewed by me from above, the things you see when you don't have a camera! To you all again your expertise, care and kindness have not gone unnoticed. To the ground crew Oliver and Martyn thank you. I would like to say a big thank you to Glenn who was able to find a vacancy for me prior to returning to Australia. I did come back and will be back again! The most immense adrenaline and thrilling Skydiving Experience in Auckland! I had such a fun time skydiving at skydive Auckland, from the moment we arrived the atmosphere and energy was awesome! The ground staff were amazing - Glenn was fantastic, really friendly with getting us sorted and going through the safety instructions and he was really informative explaining what to expect, he made the pre-skydiving experience fun with a few laughs and built the excitement. A special shout-out to tandem master Owen! who I jumped with. He was amazing! letting my family know the parachute colour to look out for. He was friendly, funny, and reassuring and made my first skydive experience so much more enjoyable with his positive energy. Thanks for having my back Owen! It was absolutely amazing! It was my first time skydiving and everyone made it so easy to make it happen! My tandem was Simon and he made me feel very safe and made the experience so good by making jokes and making me laugh when I was scared! I had a lovely time and would do it again immediately! This was epic ! I done the 13,000ft sky dive for my cousins 30th and it was amazing , what a thrill !!! All the staff were pretty good to deal with and the environment nice and welcoming! My instructor was Robbie and he was pretty chill and good to deal with ! Easy to talk to which help calmed the nerves a lot !! Hopefully this helps buy him a drink 😂 Highly recommended this ! It was F*#king epic Definitely going back !!

Worth it!!!! ⭐️ If you’re looking for something exciting to do, I would definitely recommend for you to try skydiving in Auckland. It’s a far drive so if you’re not driving yourself, they provide free transport when booking, so make sure to get that.
