Wayne was great, very informative and showed us some beautiful sites. Loved the drive up Mt. Victoria

Travel over the iconic Auckland Harbour Bridge, connecting Auckland City with the North Shore suburbs
Here you can stroll on a beautiful white sand beach with views out across the Waitemata Harbour to Rangitoto Island and where there is time for a coffee (at own cost).
Rangitoto Island is a volcanic island in the Hauraki Gulf near Auckland, New Zealand. You will see Rangitoto from many vantage points while on this tour. (Actual island not visited)
After a short drive through historic Devonport, continue up to the summit of Mount Victoria for stunning panoramic views of Auckland City and Devonport. Mount Victoria is Devonport's very own dormant volcano. Takarunga / Mount Victoria is the highest volcano on Auckland's North Shore, rising to 87 m. Takarunga means 'The hill that stands above' and its lava flows now line much of Devonport's waterfront

A great introduction to the history and views of the wider Auckland area with great views of the city from the volcano.
It’s a good way to see what the city looks like if you have just arrived. The driver was very nice and informative.
It is a great overview of Auckland. Mainly a bus ride with several interesting stops. No indoor activities.
Noel was an excellent guide, he gave extensive insight & info into all the places we visited. The tour took us to several sections of the city as well as some surrounding suburban areas, the beach & the hilltop viewing area. It was a good way to see the sights.
Wayne was both my travel guide and driver. He shared a wealth of information and a lot of "dad" style jokes. His sense of humor made the time fly on the tour. I appreciated that he gave us a laminated tour sheet with most of the stops we made.
I could not have asked for a better guide in Jason. He was amazing and full of so much information. I unfortunately had to get off one stop before finishing trip for medical appointment and Jason showed me where to go and very helpful. Thank you to Jason and team for outstanding service and I thoroughly recommend this trip to everyone.
It is a good introduction to the city, the topography, and its history. The tour included many specific areas of the city.
The driver was very good. He knew where everything was and was very knowledgeable about everything. The tour was great!!!
I took this tour to see a different side of Auckland. So pleased I did. It was a great tour. It is an excellent way to see Auckland when you travel alone
Tour guide was very friendly unfortunately the weather wasn’t great so we couldn’t enjoy it as much We were there from 9-12 pm
Our party of four enjoyed this tour, whilst in port on a cruise. Meeting / pick up location was in walking distance from where our ship was docked - very convenient and easy to find. The bus was clean and comfortable, with an informative driver. The 3 hour overview tour of Auckland went by so fast - it was brilliant. At the drivers recommendation, we went to a CBD pub for lunch - that too, did not disappoint. I would recommend this tour to those who have a short amount of time in Auckland or those who don't want to pay the high prices of a shore excursion that cruise liners charge.
Great introduction to Auckland with some really good stops. The guide was fantastic and gave lots of options for additional sightseeing in Auckland, outside of this tour. Great option if short on time.
What an incredible tour! Chris was so knowledgeable and accommodating. We had a fabulous time and got a great feel of Auckland. Highly recommend!
We were the first time visitors to Auckland with limited time. This was the best way to learn about Auckland in a half day with a small group of people.
Great look at this beautiful city. Had done Hop on and off tour but this was a more in depth look with additional experiences. Guide was great.
We really enjoyed this three hour tour of Auckland. It was a very nice introduction to the city, hitting the highlights and giving us a nice overview without devoting the whole day to a tour. It was very well organized and we would recommend it.
Booking was easy and communication for morning pickup was very good. Bus was comfortable and our driver did a great job. It's a 3 hour overview of the city, the views from Narrow Neck beach are wonderful.
Our driver/guide Wayne, was the highlight of this city tour. Very knowledgeable & entertaining!!! Highly recommend, especially if your time in the city is limited.
Very little of value to see as far as we were concerned. Mountains Eden but mostly houses and stores. Boring!!
I had the pleasure of being taken around Auckland by Wayne, he is not only knowledgeable but funny. It was nice to have a personable tour guide, who obviously loves to share his knowledge of New Zealand. I’d go on a tour with Wayne again
The content of the trip was not to expectation. Perhaps Auckland City does not have much content to show, as highlights. We found section looking at residential houses, was too lengthy.
Great intro to Auckland! Our guide, Murray, was very knowledgeable and shared lots of information in an easy to follow manner. The van held about 15 people so it was comfortable and very easy to get in and out. We thoroughly enjoyed this tour and give it high marks!
Our tour with Wayne gave us a good overview of Auckland in a short amount of time— a great option for passengers arriving by crisis ship. The meeting place was easy to locate as we left the pier, and we enjoyed touring with a small group rather than the large groups on excursions booked through the cruise lines. Bush and Beaches gave us a great value with our half day tour.
Nice introduction to Auckland. Driver was very knowledgeable and friendly. Would definitely recommend if you’re new to Auckland.
Great tour & tour guide, the experience was lovely, the timing for picking me up was excellent, I really love it
Very useful as an introduction to the city and our guide was very knowledgeable and also made us feel very welcome as visitors!
Kelly gave us a great tour of the city and surrounds. We saw and learnt so much in the 3 hours. Perfect amount and pacing of information, he is very knowledgeable about the city, people, economy and sights. Good fun and happy to answer any questions along the way. Stopped at really good places for photos, views & coffee. We’ve done quite a few of this type of tour and this was one of the best. Would highly recommend
Lots of info only a couple of stops but were of no interest to us but our heads were filled with plenty of city information
Excellent, tour Instructions on finding the departure point very good easy to find and communicate with the with the company, transport comfortable and guide well versed in the area
We enjoyed our tour with Murray very much. An easy 5 minute walk from the cruise shop pier, and a warm welcome to the comfortable mini bus by Murray. Very impressed with the commentary which was interesting and informative, would highly recommend.
It turns out Auckland is a lot bigger and hillier than we expected(!) so this was a fabulous way to get to know the city on our first day, while waiting for our accommodation to be ready. The tour gets out to some of the further away suburbs to give you a great understanding of life across the city (including onto the North Shore) and is a handy way of picking up tips about places to go back to and visit when you have more time. Milton (our guide and driver) was hugely knowledgeable and eager to tell stories about the city and country. If you’re already planning on visiting Devenport and some of the other further out parts of the city, this might be a bit surplus to requirements, but anyone wanting a quick grounding in some nice neighbourhoods of Auckland, I’d recommend.
Lovely tour of the surrounds of Auckland. Good to get out of the city. Our guide Allan gave us a great insight to the history of Auckland.
A useful introduction to Auckland. Thank you to Allan for his safe passage and knowledgeable repartee.
Our guide lived in Auckland her entire life. She was familiar with all of the different neighborhoods. She was aware of the architecture, the buildings that had been relocated, and significant individuals who were involved with maintaining the history of the city. We toured the waterfront which was large, and had a deep history of the America’s Cup winning 3x. She was able to drop us at our chosen locations. We enjoyed her and the information about Auckland.
Great tour guide and very many sites to see, the Botanical garden flowers were beautiful. Say some nice houses in Devenport along the beach. Fort Victoria views were amazing of the city.
Michelle our guide was a complete delight to be with as she expertly guided our small mini bus to see the history and highlights of Auckland. We were so impressed by the amount of sites we visited and there were plenty of opportunities for photos and a stop for coffee and a wee. Because of the timely pick up from our hotel we really maximised our short visit and discovered so much of the historic Māori culture and even went to Devonport which was so just lovely we took the ferry back there again for dinner. Michelle even helped us drop off at our next hotel further along Queen Street. This tour is done with such good grace and a must do if visiting Auckland for the first time.
This is a good intro tour to Auckland if you are short on time or just to get the lay of the land. We drove past major places of interest in Auckland and finally the view point to see Auckland skyline, It was beautiful. Tour was well organized
Wonderful tour. Wayne was an excellent tour guide and the weather was perfect! Plenty of photo opportunities and a great coffee stop en route too 🙂
Amazing tour. Beautiful city. Great tour guide. Very impressive array of stops around town to get a great feel for Auckland.
Great half day tour of Auckland! Alex was great and knowledgeable. Stopped at some great sights! He gave us recommendations on where to eat/drink too.
Thank you for the wonderful short tour of NZ. Must mention our Guide Mr Kelly who along with driving kept us update with the latest information in the history of this wonderful land of islands
Jason was a great guide with a great sense of humour, showing us everything from north to south of the Auckland Harbour bridge. Was really helpful as an introduction to Auckland, so we knew our way around. Jason kindly dropped us at the War Memorial afterwards!!
The driver’s knowledge of the area was outstanding and his delivery very clear. The pickup was on time and we had the full time as advertised. Would recommend this tour.
Our guide Kelly was wonderful! Enjoyed the places we stopped and the restroom breaks. Bonus. Found some beach glass in the small beach we visited. But what happened to the Fish Market stop? Being from Seattle we wanted to compare…
Kelly had a great intuition for mixing . periodic conversation and silence. Really enjoyed is commentary of local highlights and history.
It was very nice tour. I always enjoyed the tours with viator. Love 💕 this tour in Auckland New Zealand in general is an absolute amazing experience to visit
This was worth the money. We had a nice overview of several parts of the city. Our guide was good. We had plenty of time at each stop to wander around and take photographs without feeling rushed. Auckland is a beautiful city.
Murray was a guide for the day and showed us all the highlights of Auckland proper. He shared a lot of history of the area and is really knowledgeable. I also appreciated the tour of the various neighborhoods and really gave us an idea of the area near the beaches. Highly recommend this tour.
It was a very comprehensive tour in a mini van with 15 passengers provided by Bush & Beach. Terry, the guide and native Kiwi, provided much info about real estate, Māori culture and general history of Auckland. It was a very enjoyable 3 hours.
