Auckland Harbour Sailboat Cruise Including Three Course Dinner

What a wonderful excursion around the Harbour. Dinner was great and the staff were friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend.

Relaxed and friendly environment, fabulous food, and gorgeous views. The crew could not have been friendlier - and were generous with both knowledge and humour, while very safety conscious. Many thanks from visitors from Adelaide!

For anyone new, or simply other travellers like us, to Auckland should definitely give this wee tour a go. Fantastic, warm and friendly crew with quirky little facts about the city and surrounds, and really open to questions. Loved the opportunity to help steer the boat and wander around deck. The view as the sun set and light changed was incredible. Perfect way to see Auckland without treading the boards, with a gentle rock. The food was ace, far exceeded expectations. Highly recommended.

The sail was amazing, cold (winter month), but still amazing. Absolutely beautiful sunset and amazing food. The city is gorgeous all lit up at night. The captain was knowledgeable about the city and answered all our questions. Definitely a must do when visiting Auckland.

Nice trip around the bay. Food was good. Commentary could be improved. Tour was late May so need coats and hats etc Not sure it was good value for the cost.

The cruise was great. Good views of the harbour and city. Staff were friendly and attentive. One staff member was an astronomer who was very informative. The food servings were small and average.

A perfect way to end our 6+ week holiday in NZ - a (past) sunset cruise of Auckland harbor!!! A gloriously clear night with such an array of stars (even with ambient light from Auckland). The crew was fantastic; the captain so informative and laid back - the food - appetizers were great; main course disappointed a little (lukewarm and a little dry). Once they hoisted the mainsail, there was enough breeze to really do some heeling tacks. Thanks all for a great (planned) last night in Auckland. Air New Zealand mucked up our departure plans - but definitely nothing to do with this 'adventure'!

We had a wonderful fun experience on the Sailboat Cruise! We were perhaps fortunate that there were only 7 passengers on the cruise, which made it quite an intimate cruise and interaction with our fellow sail mates! Hamish, the Skipper, Sophie and Billy made up the crew and it was a lot of fun sailing with them, including listening to their expert knowledge of sailing and of NZ and their life experiences. The dinner was excellent! The entrees suited all tastes and the mains were aptly served in a bowl so they could be enjoyed on the deck. The harbour was quite calm on the night however it did not detract from the sailing aspect at all. The views of Auckland Harbour from the boat were stunning plus the Southern Cross was clearly visible in the night sky. We felt that the cost and time on board were well worth it. Thoroughly recommend this cruise! Thank you for a great night!

The best thing I did! Wonderful, beautiful, and a lifetime experience you won’t forget! The food was great! Catered to dietary restrictions great. Beautiful scenery. The workers were all amazing and great to answer questions explain sailing and showed star constellations.

Even though it’s raining cold and blowing. The climate on board was very warm and inviting in the personnel did an excellent job! The food was good and different and we enjoy the experience…👍😀👍

This was an Amazing experience. The guides were super knowledgeable about the location, and especially the sailing. The dinner was fantastic! Probably the best part for us was when my adult step-daughter got to steer the boat under sail; she was so excited, and now wants to learn how to sail,

Great opportunity to be on the water and sail past the bridge and enjoy Auckland lights at night. Dinner was delicious and crew did an outstanding job.

Had lot of fun with the group coming from different parts of the world. It was interesting to watch a city during day and night time and getting different aspects of it.

The crew was friendly and informed. We had a tasty quality dinner while sailing through the harbor. We loved the experience of sailing and the knowledgeable crew. Sailing back to the harbor with the city lights was gorgeous.

Weather was perfect. Staff friendly I think if weather was bad it still maybe fun cos jackets and blankets were available.

The crew was great! Great sunset. Just a real relax sail in the Harbour. The bridge and Sky Tower, as well as the skyline were amazing to see at night all lit up.

We had a lovely sunset sailing experience, we were lucky enough to enjoy clear skies. The meal we selected was not served but we enjoyed all courses served.

We enjoyed the experience and having our refreshment and food on the deck, at an angle when we were under sail. We would have appreciated some commentary on the landmarks around the harbour. The crew were engaging.

Wonderful and fun way to see the Auckland Harbour. The night we were out there were dozens of other sailboats and really gave us a feel for how Kiwis belief in working to live. Crew was awesome, food was good. It was a chilly night we were out and they provided blankets to stay warm. This was an experience we will rember for a long time to come.

The food was great and it was really a fun tour in the harbor. Be ready for high winds and steep boat angles.

The crew on the ship were great. It was a beautiful cruise. Really enjoyed the experience, particularly seeing so many colorful sailboats around us. Only negative is that some of the food was not very good. Chicken was fine, but fish and lamb were not very good.

Very enjoyable evening on the water with the sailing team. Great food and weather, and the team did an awesome job with dinner and showing us the harbor. Very fun time.

Skipper and staff on board were friendly and took good care of us. A cruise without dinner would suffice.

The captain and crew make this an unforgettable experience. We were lucky to have a perfect evening for the sail and dinner. Being a sailor I appreciated the opportunity to sail the ship for part of the cruise. The food was from a local gourmet resturant, that added to the experience .

Just a lovely boat ride and meal. Crew were mostly young people and they were great. We had excellent weather so all the views were good.

Capt Charles, Billie and Phin were amazing! Beautiful sailing experience. My only suggestion would be fewer people. It was difficult to manage food and drink.

This was a lovely sunset cruise around Auckland Harbor. We had spent the day around downtown Auckland and this was a relaxing way to end our time in Auckland. The crew kept us happy with food and drinks. They also let us move around the sailboat, steer, and ask questions. Weather was perfect for this activity.

Absolutely fantastic? Great Skipper and staff. The food was good and they made it easy to eat by putting it in bowls.

Thrice- twirl round the harbour with bowls of food balanced on our laps. The three course meal consisted of canapés, mains and puds with a complimentary first drink. We had expected an on board dining experience at table but bowl food service on deck was obviously easier. Charles and his two person crew failed to point out major landmarks - most guests were first time visitors to Auckland - and without the company of fellow passengers it would have been a very boring two-and-half hours.

The sailing and crew were great the food was tasty, but dinner was not very hot and serving size was small. It was a wonderful evening.
