We had a great opening day in Auckland with our great tour guide, Sam. This was our first tour after landing in Auckland and we wanted to see some of the city and highlights. Sam was a knowledgeable and kind tour guide who we throughly enjoyed. The pictures and views of the city were amazing!

Visit and experience one of Auckland’s famous beaches, Narrow Neck Beach. With its calm, almost lake-like waters and gentle waves, this beautiful Pacific Ocean beach offers a unique and peaceful coastal experience. The stunning views across the water, with Rangitoto Island — Auckland’s largest volcanic island — rising dramatically in the background, create a breathtaking panorama that is truly difficult to put into words. The North Head Historic Reserve, situated at the entrance of Waitemata Harbour, is one of Auckland’s volcanic mountain. Here you will experience entering the tunnel and come face to face with cannons made with the best technology of the time.
Mount Eden is Auckland’s highest volcanic mountain and a beloved tourist attraction, offering panoramic views of the cityscape from its summit. Check out the panoramic view of Auckland City here.

Dong was a most knowledgable guide for our Auckland tour. He was punctual and contacted ourselves the day before giving us in depth information about the pick up. In every area of Auckland we visited with Dong he pointed out specific facts, history and evolving changes. His car was clean and comfortable and Dong was a very safe driver. We thoroughly enjoyed the day
Dong was very nice. Very polite and professional. Short tour of the highlights which was perfect for us! Beautiful vistas.
Talia was a great guide!! She took photos and videos of us through out the tour and sent them to us. There was an audio of each location played in car which at first was odd but it was great!!!
Talia did an excellent job showing us the highlights of Auckland on a personalized half day tour from our cruise ship and dropping us off at the airport.
We had an excellent half day with Talia. Saw the highlights we wanted in a half day tour. A nice surprise, she took regularly pictures of us at various destinations which she sent immediately. Nice memories, without having to ask someone to please stop and take a photo of us. Would strongly recommend, and will call again when we’re back here
Dong, our guide, was so incredibly helpful and showed us around to all the best spots and viewing spots to see Auckland - he was also so incredible and thoughtful with my disabled father. He kept my dad company when we walked up mount Eden and showed him the cafe as an alternate viewing experience. Such a nice man, and such a great well thought out tour that gives a great taste of Auckland!
A friendly personal driver and good knowledge of the sites we visited. There were just the two of us, so we could take our time at the sites, go at our own pace, and ask the questions we wanted
We had a great tour with Davey but he could not understand some English snd some of his English was hard to understand.
Great half day tour around Auckland with Sam. Sam is a personable and engaging guide. We anppreciated that he could accommodate our last minute request to swap out a visit to Mt. Eden for something else since we’d been there the day before. We appreciated the variety in this tour which included some fascinating info about the expansion of the Harbour Bridge, great views from and history of North Head (we preferred views here over Mt Eden), seeing the heritage homes in Devonport and a short stop at very beautiful Auckland Domain park and small conservatory. Just a note that this is not a tour of the center of Auckland. We highly recommend Sam and this tour.
A very nice half day tour. The views of the city are amazing and wonderful to see. Our guide was very kind to us.
We had a wonderful tour with Sam. He is very knowledgeable and personable and ensured that we had ample time at each spot. The spots were also quite well chosen and had a wide variety of landscapes. Our last 4 hours in Auckland were very well spent, thanks again to Sam.
Nice quick trip around the island learnig the history of New Zealand and it's native people. David was a nice host. Limited English so he played an AI narrative. He was very nice.
It's was wide ranging tour of the Auckland area including all the main highlights. It was executed flawlessly and accommodated my partners disabilities. Our guide and driver, Sam, an immigratant himself, was very knowledgeable and courteous. He picked us up from our hotel and assisted my partner in and out of his spacious minivan and even helped her walk to see some of the sights.
This was a fabulous tour with Sam. Pick up and drop off was easy. Sam took us to places with breathtaking views and fascinating stories. The van was very comfortable for the 4 of us. Highly recommended!!
We had a great city tour with Sam in our tight timeframe before he dropped us off at the airport. We got to see a lot of the city and He told us interesting history and stories. We highly recommend our tour and guide!
Sam, who has lived in Auckland for a long time, was an excellent guide and very accommodating for everyone involved.
Sam was awesome. This was the perfect way to see so much of the city - easily! - in just a few hours. Convenient and informative. Highly recommend.
A great way to explore the city and see all the highlights. Mr Sam was the guide and he was very punctual and knowledgeable. He covered all the spot and explained history in great. A must see when in New Zealand. Highly recommend this tour and do request for Mr Sam as your guide.
Fantastic way to learn about the city when you first arrive. You can learn about the city while getting a feel for where things are. Some of the information was pre-recorded which was not expected but was ok, as sometimes we had difficulty understanding the guide. The guide did a good job of getting us around the city to all the intended spots and then more.
We thoroughly enjoyed each of the highlights David shared with us. The information shared and pace of the tour was very good. We would highly recommend David and this particular tour of Auckland.
My husband and I disembarked from a cruise in Auckland to tour Auckland and then be dropped off at the airport. Our guide was knowledgeable about the area. She explained our stops and the relevancy of each place.
Wonderful introduction to Auckland- easy to understand and a nice selection of places to see- Sam was an excellent driver and guide!
Our guide, Sam, was great! Knowledgeable and quite helpful with my mobility issues. A fun way to see the best of Auckland!
Sam, the driver and guide, was courteous and informative. He provided a good bit of the area's history as we drove though various areas and visited several sites. Mount Eden offered even better overviews of the city than the Skytower.
Although it was a grey and rainy day, our guide David managed to introduce us to the best sides of Auckland.
