Our guide, Harriet, was great! The scenery was breathtaking with plenty of opportunities for photos.

Guide Jerome knows a lot about the surroundings and as a native Kiwi he knows a lot about cultural history as well. He drove us to beautyful, scenic places and even did extra stops because it was a small group. Clear communication and even an earlier pick-up was possible (our cruise ship had an early sail-away that day). Really enjoyed this trip and worth the money!

There were only 2 of us on this tour. Tour is great for nature lovers. We walked quite a bit. Lunch at the winery was delicious and it was a lovely place. Harriet was a super guide, gave us lots of excellent information. She drives well on the narrow winding roads and the minivan was comfortable.

Harriet was an amazing tour guide. Such a wonderful day. She is so knowledgeable and we saw so many amazing things From volcanos to black sand beaches to waterfalls and then a wine tasting to top it off. It was one of the best tours we’ve been on!

Harriet was excellent. We went to a variety of interesting locations - Mt Eden, Piha black sandy beach, Rose Hellaby house (bonus unplanned stop), and a wine tasting and lunch.

Michael was a grear tour guide providing us with a cultural perspective of the areas we travel that ended with a wonderful lunch and wine tasting.

I was provided with the van and driver information 2 days ahead, pickup was on time and smooth. Jerome was informative and professional, took great pics too! Discovered a great wine at the winery, thanks for arranging everything!!

We had the best day with Harriet. Very friendly knowledgeable as our first visit to Auckland we saw so much we were so grateful. I didn’t think I could fall in love with New Zealand anymore until I did this tour. Jerome was very knowledgable and catered for my more adventurous nature which helped me spot penguins in a cave! 10/10 - thank you!

Jerome was a great tour guide and, because it was just me, he tailored the tour to what I wanted to see, and we just went with the vibe. The weather was also great so that worked in our favor. I really appreciated this tour company because even though it was just me, they went ahead and ran the tour vs. a bunch of other companies would’ve asked me to switch or cancel. Highly recommend!

Maddie was the tour guide for this tour. She was a great source of local information. She took us to some really beautiful sites and had a lot of patience with my slow walking and many questions. The beach, waterfall and Mt Eden were spectacularly beautiful and I really appreciate being able to see them on my one day in Auckland. The wine tasting venue was lovely and the lunch was just perfect. I very much enjoyed the day with Maddie and the small group we had.

Very worthwhile. Guide/Driver Harriet was very friendly and informative. Some uphill walking but nothing that demanding. Great opportunity to go outside the city and explore nature.

The tour provided a great experience with a small group tour. we were able to walk through the Mount Eden volcano site led by our tour guide who provided interesting fact about the volcano. We enjoyed a walk to the Piha Beach of black sand and explored the short hike to majestic Karekare falls. Beautiful! Our tour ended with a tasty lunch at Soljans Estate Winery where we had an opportunity to taste wine and do a bit of shopping. We found the wine tasting to be less informative or enjoyable than others we had experienced as people were crowded at the bar getting their wine, making it difficult to hear what wine was being served and it's information.

This was a wonderful tour. Our tour guide Maddie was very knowledgeable. Was picked up on time however we were the only couple on the tour. Which to us was well worth it. Felt like a personal tour felt kind of lucky. Didn’t need to wait around for anyone. She took pictures of us which turned out really nice. Mt Eden the scenic view was beautiful along with Piha Beach. Although we didn’t get to see the water fall because it was closed off she took us to another trail which was really nice. The wine tasting was also good we had lunch there. The food I must say was amazing. Would recommend this tour to anyone visiting. Also thank you Maddie for a wonderful time.

We toured Karekare Falls with Harriet. She was knowledgeable, most gracious and accommodating. We came across a road closure and she immediately detoured and got us there anyway. Beautiful site to see!!!

Maddy (sp?) our tour guide was AMAZING! We had a great time & my husband said of all the excursions we did, including those take on our 12-day NCL cruise, this was by far his favorite. The sights were amazing and we thoroughly enjoyed our time together. Maddy was friendly, knowledgeable and happily answered our questions, of which were many. Haha Our only regret was that it wasn’t longer. 😎 Kudos to you all!

This 6 hour tour around the downtown Auckland area far exceeded my expectations. Our tour guide Harriet is among the best tour guides we have experienced. The tour took us to Piha Beach, Karekare Waterfall, Soljians Estate Winery (where we had a wine tasting and delicious lunch), and Mt. Eden. The tour gave us a great perspective on the beautiful landscapes surrounding the city center region. This tour is highly recommended.

We had a wonderful sightseeing tour in Auckland today. Much of that was thanks to our fantastic guide, Harriet. She was very knowledgeable about the city, and the surrounding areas, and she shared insights, factoids, and stories throughout the trip that made every stop meaningful. Harriet was also an excellent driver, so the entire journey felt relaxed and enjoyable. Another highlight of the tour was the great company. The other four passengers in our group were friendly and genuinely fun to travel with, which made the experience even more memorable.  If you are visiting the city and want to see a lot while learning about its culture, geography, and history, I highly recommend this tour. A big thank you to Harriet for making it such a fantastic experience!

We highly recommend this tour. The group size is just the right size to have personalized attention throughout the day. The length of the tour is perfect allowing you to see a few highlights of Auckland outside of the city center. The day is well planned to experience highlights of the area while avoiding crowds. We look forward to booking other tours through this tour company again.
