Whangaparaoa Lodge Motel

We spent one night at the lodge whilst transitting south. Its a very nice place to stay and if our plans could have been changed I would certainly have stayed longer. The apartment we had was spotlessly clean, well furnished and the decor fresh and modern. The breakfast, which was brought to the apartment, was really nice. Would highly recommend the lodge if you're coming this way. Thanks Troy for a memorable, if brief, stay.

Great place to stay with comfortable rooms, good off-street parking and really friendly proprietors. The room was large and the bed very comfortable. They preheated the room before I arrived which was so appreciated and gave me recommendations for places to dine.

We stayed at the Motel for a night on the easter-weekend. Everything was perfect and Troy was the kindest manager we've met. He even helped carrying our luggage. Everything was tidy and clean. We were able to use the washing machine and dryer. Troy even helped. This is a place where the quality of service is important.

Great little spot across from the beach. Just a bit away from shopping, but that keeps it quieter. Service was a struggle. Used the conference room and cleaned it all up, but could not find the employee to get a new garbage bag. Figured he would check that on the daily. Nope. Ants all over. Laundry also required the employee to unlock, so the times for that were limited. Had to fix the dryer for the employee. Parking is tight quarters and scraped long cars on entry and exits. Quant spot, just needs some smoother running.
