Thank you to the wonderful staff at the Soho hotel for making my stay memorable! Rya and Melani (hope I spelled that right) both went above and beyond the call of duty when I had a personal matter to resolve. I’m very grateful to them both for their help. The room was comfortable as was the bed, and the location was perfect for me. Thanks! Hope yo stay again one day!
The stay was good overall, except for the service, which could definitely be improved. I travel frequently and expect a certain level of service from a 5-star hotel, especially when it comes to assistance with luggage. Unfortunately, I didn’t receive any help. When I called reception three times to ask if someone could assist me with taking my luggage downstairs, no one answered the phone. I also found it unusual that there was no dental kit available at the hotel. The hotel itself was good, but the service was below what I would expect from a 5-star property. I hope this feedback helps improve the guest experience in the future.
Check in was easy and the staff were well groomed, friendly and efficient. First thing noticed off the lift was the light colored carpet that has had lots of wear and does need a good shampoo. That tells me they continue to have lots of clientele! My room was spacious, light and clean, with minimal furniture (which i like). View of thr motorway and no noise even with the windows open. The king sized beds was super comfortable and warm. Easy to access wifi, bathrooms clean. Ordered room service. 8 minutes from order to arrival. What the heck?? I barely lay down on the bed to scroll and the gentleman was at my door. Unheard of!!! No complaints at all! Quiet, clean is what you really need between work. Lovely space. Some maintenance issues however, wall paper peeling, looks like water damage to the walls, peeling lining on the windown and grout that needs a good scrub in the shower. These dont detract from the stay however though a good deep clean would pay off.
Thank you, SoHo, for making our first night—and unfortunately our ONLY night—an absolute blast! 😂❤️ From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a smile, and you sorted us out with not one, but TWO rooms… including a twin room! Talk about looking after us! 🙌😂 And I’m so glad we arrived at night because WOW… you were lit up like a Christmas tree! There was absolutely NO chance we were going to drive past you! 😂💡 Seriously though, thank you for making our stay such an awesome experience. Great service, great vibes and a whole lot of laughs. We’ll definitely be back—and next time, we’ll try to behave ourselves… no promises though! 😂🤣❤️ Thanks for an awesome night, SoHo! You guys ROCK! 🥳🙌
Value for money is good, staff are lovely. The biggest drawback for us was the paper thin walls, and we are heavy sleepers. You can hear every single word from the neighbours - which is fun if you’re nosy but it’s as if you are sharing a room. I don’t need to hear their bathroom habits, or sex life thanks. I’d still stay here again because the value for money is good, and the staff are nice. I’ll just bring my ear plugs next time.
