Park Hyatt Auckland

I stayed at Grand Hyatt for 3 nights during vacation trip to NZ, and overall, the experience was pleasant. Check-in was smooth, with a friendly receptionist who provided all the necessary information efficiently. The room was spacious, clean, and well-lit, with a comfortable bed and modern amenities. Matrass was comfortable with comfortable pillows Facilities The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of options, There is a la carte option as well The hotel is conveniently located near the harbor. All staff members were courteous. While pricey, the quality of service and facilities made it worth the cost. I would highly recommend Grand Hyatt for its excellent service and convenient location, especially for business travelers. One thing, the power console in the middle room right in front of window situated very unfortunate and not movable, we kept hitting our toes against it when trying to go to the window, but the view was worth it :-).

We stayed here for a night and everything was amazing the staff were very accommodating and friendly. Spa and pool both excellent along with a full fitness gym area. Bed was super comfy and the food was outstanding 👌

I recently visited a friend who was staying at the Park Hyatt and wanted to share my observations regarding the cleanliness of the hotel. The lobby, common areas, and restaurant/pantry were exceptionally clean and very well maintained. I noticed that the uniforms worn by the housekeeping staff were different from those worn by the team cleaning the common areas, which made me wonder if they are separate teams. I'd like to acknowledge the team responsible for the common areas and restaurant. They did an outstanding job the presentation of these areas was immaculate, and it was clear how hardworking and dedicated the team was. Unfortunately, the guest rooms were a completely different story. The contrast in cleanliness was very noticeable and quite disappointing. The floor was greesy, the toilet had watermarks, dust behind and under the bed and I have dust allergies which did not help. For a 5-star hotel, I expected the same high standard of cleanliness throughout the entire property. The condition of the room did not reflect the luxury experience the hotel promotes, which was disappointing and left me questioning the consistency of the hotel's housekeeping standards.

I recently treated my husband to a spa day at Park Hyatt Auckland for his birthday, and it was an absolutely amazing experience from start to finish. We booked the De-Stress Body and Mind Balance treatment as a special birthday treat. Being able to use the valet parking was a huge bonus, especially in the city. We were also given 90 minutes before our treatment to enjoy the spa facilities, including the sauna, steam room, plunge pool, and relaxation area. This really helped us unwind and get into the perfect mindset for a day of pampering. Our therapists, Josephine and Kathy, were exceptional. They were thoughtful, professional, and incredibly respectful, making the entire experience feel truly special. Their attention to detail and genuine care made us feel completely relaxed and looked after. Time seemed to stand still, and we left feeling like royalty. As it was my husband’s birthday, Josephine and Kathy went above and beyond to make the occasion memorable for both of us. We would highly recommend them to anyone booking a treatment—they were absolutely wonderful. To complete the day, we had dinner at The Lounge restaurant. Once again, the staff exceeded our expectations. They acknowledged my husband’s birthday and added thoughtful touches that made the evening feel extra special. We cannot thank the team enough for their kindness, warmth, and attention to detail. Nothing went unnoticed, and every effort was genuinely appreciated. Thank you to everyone at Park Hyatt Auckland for creating such a memorable birthday celebration. We look forward to returning.
