Great location for the CBD. I’d say it’s a budget hotel gives the size of the rooms and it’s not 24hrs room service. Stayed here with work but probably wouldn’t book it for my own leisure simply too small and noisy. WiFi works well and it’s clean and seems recently refurbished.
Always our place to go when we come for the week end in Auckland! Really good rooms, not far away from the CBD and the service is excellent! We came for our 1st anniversary with my partner and got a lot of attention from the staff, upgraded the room, a wish card and we felt like staying for a full week! I am already looking forward to come back, thank you so much 😊
We stayed here from 6 - 13 July '26. Arrived after 1am and staff were prompt and friendly. Over the duration of our stay staff were helpful and kind. Rooms are spacious and clean. Little things we noticed was the dishwashing liquid, laundry detergent, amenities in the shower and adequate linen. Beds were comfortable. Access was a breeze. Gym area is great, well stocked and clean. Around the corner from Spark arena where we went for our conference. We were spoilt for choice with little shops and restaurants all around in close proximity.
quite liked this hotel, had rly friendly staff, were super efficient at some requests like when we asked for additional towels and a water jug to store boiled water etc, comes equipped with a huge tv, mini fridge, hairdryer that wasn't connected to just ONE power plug (plus point!! could bring the hairdryer from the toilet to the room to blow dry my hair while watching tv lol) & overall clean & spacious guess the only "complaint" we had was that the parking there was suuuuper expensive (NZD$45 per night) & that there were no laundry services available, which is fine I guess! overall a good stay, would recommend 👍🏼
We stayed just over a week ago and staff were friendly, helpful and nothing was an issue. Restaurant for breakfast had plenty of food options, coffee was great. We stayed in 3 bedroom apartment which was very spacious for 3 kids we had with us. Beds were comfortable, rooms were clean, had washer /dryer which was superb for our family. Close to the main city center just walking distance, close to transport, restaurants and supermarket. We had rental car so parked in area car park which Oaks organized parking for us for our whole visit. Check in and out was easy and no trouble at all. Very enjoyable and relaxing stay. Thank you Oaks for hosting our family and making our trip so easy.
