Appalling condition, serious safety concerns – would not recommend 25/8/26- Our experience at this apartment was absolutely atrocious. We booked two nights through Booking.com, travelling with three children, and were shocked by the condition of the accommodation. The lounge room window had a broken lock and opened sideways rather than correctly, despite being on the ninth floor. This was a serious concern with children, as well as a potential hazard to pedestrians below. One bedroom window was completely covered in duct tape, and the flat-pack furniture was poorly assembled, with the coffee table falling apart. The portable air conditioner was dirty, visibly mouldy and had a damaged exhaust hose that was supposed to go through the broken window. The apartment was extremely warm, and the cooling was inadequate. The kitchen floor was dirty, with grime between the tiles, and the mattresses were old and had holes in them. I raised these issues with staff, who offered another room, but unfortunately, it was no better. I was also uncomfortable with the atmosphere in the building. Each time I used the elevator with my children, I felt nervous sharing it with some of the people coming and going. As a parent travelling with three young children, I did not feel comfortable or at ease in the common areas. Management’s response to our refund request made an already stressful situation worse. Despite the condition of the accommodation, they refused to refund both nights and offered only one night’s refund, provided we vacated immediately. With three children and nowhere else arranged at short notice, this was incredibly stressful. I relied on the Booking.com reviews when making this booking, and this experience has seriously affected my trust in online ratings. I would encourage others to look carefully at reviews and photographs before booking. I would not recommend this accommodation, especially for families. The safety hazards, mould, poor cleanliness, damaged furnishings and inadequate cooling fell well below an acceptable standard. I will attach photographs to support the issues described above.

Service was amazing until we checked out. Prime location. Beds were small both double. Would've been perfect if one was a queen. Tv was terrible, small. Couch was way too small.
This place is an absolutely disgusting. All the bad reviews left about this place are 100% correct and wish I read them before hand. False advertising as the photos on the website are not what you get.. by a mile The rooms smell of sewage. Not cleaned. Coffee table covered in burns. A pathetic couch that barely supported itself, mouldy kitchen sink. A useless a/c heat pump with a vent tube the hangs out an open window. Dents, stains and damage through out all cupboards, carpet and tiles, the fridge with all dented in front being punched and kicked. The people you see lurking in the elevators and hallways all hours of the day and night make you on edge, all you smell in cigarettes. This please honestly feels like a half way house/emergency housing. Rooms look like animals have been living in them. Checked out early after 1 night with no refund, reception not Interested in my very direct thoughts on the place. Please don’t not book this place. Spend a little extra and go somewhere else. I honestly don’t know how this place is aloud to be open. Rant over 😁
The location is fine is you're wanting to be by MIT, Rainbows End, supermarkets etc. However there is a lot of misleading information on their website which contrasts with the real experience: 1) The room did not match the pictures. I can only assume the photos were taken after they refurbished some time ago because the room was very worn down. It feels deliberately misleading. 2) They say that it has secure parking, and you pay $12 a day for this. However, one of our friends had their car stolen in the night. The manager was difficult about letting us see the footage and sharing it for police/insurance. The car park is not secure. Also, if you want to leave your car in the car park after check out, even for a short time, you still must pay the full $12. 3) An extra $100 is taken at check in with no warning as a 'security bond'. 4) Wall heaters didn't work so two fan space heaters were provided. One of these didn't blow heat so it was up to one to heat the whole apartment in the middle of winter. 5) Very noisy in the apartment - lots of shouting, banging, road works can be heard from the street during the night. We were at the top of the building and it was still very loud. 6) Whilst the area itself is close to lots of good amenities, it feels very unsafe after dark if you go outside.
This was easily the worst place I’ve ever stayed. The rooms were filthy—there were holes and strange stains on the walls, as if some kind of liquid had been thrown on them. The carpet was stained, there was mould in and around the shower, and the couch was covered in stains and hair. Even the skirting boards and window sills were dirty. We spoke to the manager, who initially offered to show us another room, which was only slightly better. While we were packing to move, he called to say we could no longer have that room because someone had specifically requested to stay on level 5. He then showed us a different room, which was just as bad as the first. We made it clear we wouldn’t stay in either and asked again for the room on level 5. Although he seemed annoyed, he eventually gave it to us. We pointed out the condition of the rooms and showed him the issues, but he dismissed our concerns and didn’t seem to care. I would strongly recommend avoiding this place.
