My wife and I stayed here several years ago, and we recently returned with our family. The hotel is in a great location and everything is very nice, but I cannot overstate how helpful the staff are. As just one of several examples, my daughter has celiac and while the restaurant has several gluten free options, the owner overheard my daughter asking us about the pancakes. The pancakes aren't normally gluten free, but she went to grocery to store to purchase gluten free flour so the next morning they could make pancakes for her.
Lovely baths !
Friendly staff that are very helpful.
Design of the rooms was cute and vintage.
Very quiet… no city noise made for a great rest.
Restaurant was very tasty and fast service.
Would definitely come again !
Wow what a gem in the middle of downtown Auckland! Stayed there two nights on a layover. The rooms were comfortable, and very functional. The restaurant is amazing and everyone who works there is friendly, helpful and very good at their job. The location is very convenient to downtown but maybe I was expecting the hotel to be more generic. It was anything but that! What a classy place.
Didn't stay overnight but love the really warm restaurant with fireplace. Cheese and wine flight is delicious. In fact all the food ive tried has been great. Service is equally great. Definitely worth a stop.
We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel DeBrett. The location was fantastic and made it so easy to explore Auckland on foot, with great restaurants, shopping and the waterfront all close by.
We were also very unexpectedly upgraded on arrival, which was such a lovely surprise and very much appreciated. The room itself was incredible, full of character and beautifully styled. We especially loved the art deco inspired decor, which gave the hotel such a unique and luxurious feel.
The staff were so incredibly friendly and welcoming throughout our stay and genuinely made us feel looked after. The bar also had a wonderful atmosphere and was a great place to relax at the end of the day.
