Horizon By Skycity

We had a very good stay at Horizon by SkyCity. The hotel is modern, clean, and in a great location. The breakfast was excellent, and the overall standard of the hotel was very good. The rooms and common areas felt well maintained and comfortable. The only small downside was that there could occasionally be some noise from outside at night. Overall, a very good hotel and one we would happily stay at again.

A long wait with only one at reception, had a few issues getting things sorted. Not a fan of being handed a bottle of water at reception, only hotel where it isn't supplied in the room. Also visible from reception was a stick vacuum cleaner, a small thing but attention to detail in a 5 star hotel. There were two concierge yet one at reception. Skywalk to Skycity is great with good views, some nice chair booths in-between to work from. Has indoor valet which is great, an easy elevator downstairs and the car is brought through.

Could not recommend enough not only is there A BAJILLION restaurants and simple food options close by, you have entertainments galore everywhere you turn - of course you are also connected to the sky tower itself which makes for an absolutely breath taking view both day and night. The hotel was spotless and the staff were nothing but kind, generous and respectful no matter the stress conditions. The casino was packed and booming as usual but it was a wonderful vibe and had fun with live music, dancing floor, scenic areas at every window, comfortable smoking areas of needed and lots of bars. The whole experience was the most relaxing and easiest time my family and I have ever had, could not recommend enough. We have already started planning our next stay here in a few years for our next big trip! Thank you for your easy working and beautiful service all round. My stay at Hotel Horizon by SkyCity was simply outstanding and possibly the best hotel service I have experienced in New Zealand in a very long time. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly accommodating, friendly, and genuinely positive. Nothing was too much trouble, and their warm attitude made the experience truly memorable. The facilities are excellent, the service throughout the hotel was brilliant, and every detail reflected a commitment to exceptional hospitality. A special mention must go to The Grill restaurant. The food was outstanding and easily among the best dining experiences I have enjoyed while staying at a hotel. The rooms were exceptional – without doubt some of the best I have stayed in. Stylish, comfortable, and beautifully presented, they made for a truly relaxing stay. An amazing experience from start to finish. I highly recommend Hotel Horizon by SkyCity and look forward to returning. Congratulations to the entire team for delivering world-class hospitality.
