Delamore Lodge

My husband and I were starting our honeymoon on Waiheke Island and reached out rather last minute to Delamore in the hopes of booking just a massage, as we didn’t think we’d be able to stay at the lodge. Adam got back to us right away and was happy to arrange a massage for us, and let us know about a room availability during our stay. Adam was so kind and communicative, and we could not believe our luck in being able to stay at the Delamore. We arrived on an early ferry and were promptly greeted at the ferry terminal by Nehan. While the food, the peaceful atmosphere, and the stunning views made our stay great, the service made it unforgettable. Nehan is probably the kindest and most positive person we have encountered during our travels. He picked us up from the terminal to begin our stay, helped us get settled with coffee and snacks even before check-time, and would drop us off in town each day so we could begin our day exploring. Thank you so much to Nehan, Adam, Zara, and the rest of the kind staff. Highly recommend the Delamore to anyone visiting Waiheke, and we hope to be back some day!

Delamore Lodge is one of the best places to eat on Waiheke Island. A must for anyone who appreciates good food that awakens the senses. We enjoyed both breakfast and dinner. Exquisite, colorful food, beautifully presented. Trust the chef to create a tantalizing experience where every dish is like a painting and you are the connoisseur. The Chef takes into account your dietary needs, creating a symphony of flavors where each dish is unique yet compliments the one before.

Incredible staff, location and service during our stay at Delamore. The property felt private and luxurious, the staff was second to none. We enjoyed all the amenities on our short stay, including the pool, sauna and hot tub. We also enjoyed the 5 course “trust the chef” dinner, which was incredible and creative. The staff was attentive and personable, we felt welcome and cozy. We will certainly be back and stay longer. One of the best experiences we’ve had in New Zealand! Thank you!!

Delamore Lodge was an absolute dream and the perfect place to begin our honeymoon. Arriving by helicopter set the tone for such a special and unforgettable stay. The property has this intimate, peaceful atmosphere while still offering elevated luxury in every detail. The food was incredible—fresh, thoughtful, and beautifully prepared. We also booked a two-hour massage, which was exactly what we needed: deeply relaxing, restorative, and one of the best spa experiences we’ve ever had. The staff was warm, attentive, and truly went above and beyond. They answered every question, helped us plan our day, and even arranged a car for us so we could explore the town with ease. If you’re looking for a luxurious, romantic escape with exceptional service and an intimate feel, Delamore Lodge is truly unforgettable.
