We booked four nights at this hotel. We checked in at around 2:00 AM on the first night. After entering the room, we spent a long time trying to adjust the air conditioner, but it simply would not produce any warm air. We contacted the front desk, and they clearly told us that there was nothing they could do, and that they could only provide extra blankets. However, one of our family members has asthma, so staying in a room without heating in Auckland's cold weather was completely unacceptable and also affected our health and ability to rest properly. Because of this, we requested that the remaining three nights be cancelled and that we receive a full refund for those three nights. The hotel staff agreed to this over the phone that same night, and there should be an internal call recording to verify that conversation. However, the next day, when we formally requested the refund, the hotel completely denied what had been agreed, claimed that no such conversation had taken place, and refused to issue the refund. Their statements were completely inconsistent. This experience was extremely disappointing and seriously undermined our trust in the hotel's honesty and professionalism. The room did not have basic heating, and the staff later denied what had already been promised, even though there should be an internal phone record. We strongly do not recommend this hotel. Please be cautious and avoid this place, especially if you are staying in Auckland during cold weather.

We were upgraded to a Pinnacle Tower room during our stay. The room was spacious and well-designed with excellent amenities, including a full bathtub. It had numerous facilities but we were not able to experience them all. Housekeeping was prompt and efficient. Overall, a fantastic experience!

We stayed in a Premier Sky Tower View King - Pinnacle Tower, and the room was fantastic. Like it said, we had a view of the Sky Tower, the room was very spacious, and the bed big and comfortable. The bathroom was good too. It was a nice touch, having the complimentary snacks and drinks included - waters, coke, juice, chocolates, chips. Using valet any time around check-in or check-out is a bit of a nightmare as it gets extremely busy, but the staff are pretty good about it. The buffet breakfast at 8 has lots of variety, but just bear in mind kids tend to run rampant/unsupervised... I saw kids digging their hands into plates/trays of food like some backyard family BBQ, rather than using the utensils provided. So I would be selective about what things would be less likely to have hands picking at them. The pancakes were delicious. A bit of a walk to get to anything, but not much of a drama. Would happily stay here again - like I say, the room was extremely comfortable.

This is an exceptional hotel that ticks every box. We stayed here for 8 days in a room in the Pinnacle Tower. The room was excellent. Everything worked perfectly. The shower was superb, bed was super comfortable and the view outstanding. Heating/cooling/lighting/TV all worked properly and were simple to operate. The sauna and steam room were excellent. The lifts worked all the time too. We used the executive lounge which was also excellent. Plenty of free water and amenities included. The included breakfast was 5 star and had every imaginable dish. The location was ideal for everything and perfect for running and walking to the nearby domain and center of the CBD. Valet parking was also excellent. Staff were super friendly and all had a can-do attitude. Absolutely nothing negative here and a rare almost perfect hotel.
