Overall, the experience was okay. I felt that visiting Poros was unnecessary since we only had around 30–40 minutes there, which wasn’t enough time to properly explore the island. We also purchased the optional beach swimming excursion in Aegina for €24 per person. In my opinion, it wasn’t worth the price because it only included beach entry—not sunbeds—and we only had about an hour (or even less) to swim before having to get changed and head back to the bus. If Poros had been skipped, we could have spent much more time in Aegina and enjoyed a proper beach experience instead. The ship itself was fine, but I think the overall experience could be more modern. For example, instead of making announcements asking everyone to come downstairs to hear about the optional tours, the cruise could simply share digital PDF brochures or information with passengers. Also, rather than having crew members walk around showing photos of the destinations on their phones or printed materials, the screens around the ship could display images and details of the excursions. It would make everything much more engaging and convenient. The food was good. The highlight of the entire trip was definitely the Greek dance performance on the rooftop at the end—it was a fun and memorable way to finish the cruise. A special shoutout to Thomas, the organ player, who was incredibly humorous, friendly, and easygoing with everyone. He really added to the atmosphere and made the experience more enjoyable.
It was very disorganized and oversold. The company described this as a small crowd cruise. It was an overcrowded and nothing looked like the pictures in the description. They let the group tours board (hundreds) the boat first, so by the time the people with individual tickets board (maybe 30 or less of us), they were no seats left for us. With the package I bought it said drinks were included, none were included. Someone was passing water bottles but ran out. Food was mediocre and again super disorganized. Restrooms were not clean, there was urine all over the floor. This was too much $$ for a very disorganized cruise. The islands were all worth visiting and very beautiful. Next time, I will find another cruise line or private.
Booked this cruise as we were staying in Athens for 3 nights at the start of island hopping over a couple of weeks. I thought this would be a great way to see 3 islands in a day. I read the reviews and booked VIP, due to it being a 12 hour day and unlimited food and refreshments along with a private lounge area was enticing. We were picked up from near our apartment by a private taxi along with another couple. On time and good communication throughout the booking and collection point details. We arrived at the ship and immediately escorted into a private lounge and introduced to Costas, our lovely host for the day. The lounge was exclusive to VIP passengers and we were given our own seating area with WiFi, two sofas and a coffee table. We wandered upstairs to the top deck and sat on a couple of chairs as the weather was hot and we sailed off to the first island of Hydra. As a VIP, you can use any of the three bars to get drinks, first drink was iced lattes! There are tables and chairs at the front of the boat which are all taken pretty quickly, then you can get chairs to sit on both port and starboard with plenty of room. We went downstairs at 10am where we were served with nibbles and a cold refreshing drink made by Costas. We visited Hydra, there is a free walking tour for VIP, but we just wandered around the town for an hour, absolutely beautiful. On our return to the ship, we had lunch in the lounge area which was a salad, with fish, meat, pasta, bread (and butter!) and then an amazing orange cake for dessert. We then visited the island of Poros and Aegina, you don't get long on these islands, but enough to see the promenade and have a drink. We didn't do any of the private tours. During the day, we mainly sat on the outside of the boat, managed to get a table a couple of times. (It is busy, but you can always get a seat somewhere). In the public lounge, there was a DJ, Karaoke and entertainment. After the last island, we did go and sit downstairs in the VIP lounge, where Costas made us coffees and was available throughout the day. There was only around 10 other VIPs, so we basically had the lounge to ourselves and a few people were napping at the end of a long day. At arrival in Athens, we then had a private taxi to take us back to our pick up point, this was around 7pm. We did thoroughly enjoy the day, Costas was lovely, we had everything we needed, the islands were beautiful and it is worth doing. Would I go VIP again, no, we decided we wouldn't need to. (We don't drink in the day, so the free bar for us was not needed) We had a couple of iced drinks and coffee, but we could have bought those as non VIP passengers. The lunch was really good, but you had long enough on Hydra to get lunch. We would definitely recommend. Great staff and well organised.
Great experience. Informative and well organized. All locations were beautiful and we had sufficient time at each stop
We add a great time with Kosmos and the staff are professional and kind. Highly recommended.
Relaxing trip. Very beautifully island
People packed into ship like sardines. Zero personal space. Predictable result is it's very loud with everyone talking louder and louder trying to hear each other.
We upgraded to the VIP lounge and from the looks of things on the other side, it was worth every penny. The food was good and the staff was nice and didn’t bother us but gave us everything we needed. We did the Hydra walking tour and it gave us information about the island. Our guide(from the ship) gave us the option to skip the museum and walk around and we took that option. On Aegina we took the cultural tour which was also fine to ride around the island. The guide on this part was not from the ship (sans not ans good) and the mic was full of static.
Wonderful experience. Spent all day there I would love to go again and spend a night or two. Beautiful romantic island .
Action packed adventure to hydra , Poros, Aegean island. Hydra island best., followed by sheen snd then poros. Meal on cruise was not too good, but ok to fill tummy to last entire day. They also sold packages for island tours without which the cruise would be just a transfer service. If they subtracted the meal and allowed passengers to bring own food would be better option. I found the packages were the main part of cruise. Also they pick you up from your hotel so it was a turn key hassle free service. The only gripe I had was with the food in buffet.
This is a "taste of the island" experience. 12 hours, 3 island. It sounds like a long time but it isn't with travel time. Nevertheless, it was fun. The hosts were amazing!
The 3 islands trip is well organized and the islands themselves are pretty, but there really isn’t that much to do on any of them. You’re mostly dropped off near souvenir shops and a few restaurants by the port. If your vibe is just relaxing and looking at the sea, it’s fine, but if you’re hoping to really explore the islands, this isn’t worth it.
The cruise was very nice. It has been said before, there wasn’t very much time on the islands. I purchased a tour on Aegina, there was little time at each site and the entire tour was late back to the boat, but that was OK. The food was served by the host/hostesses, it was not buffet style, which was nice. Having the VIP experience and my own personal space to hang out in was a plus.
Hydro was awesome would have liked to have had more time there. But the other two islands were just as pretty
Great cruise a bit colder and windy than expected but the service was fantastic and the islands were worth the great adventure.
Not sure this trip was worth the price having just been on a cruise. We had to skip Poros due to wind???? We didn’t get to spend the extra time on Aegina so I’m wondering why not. Do NOT do Not do not do the walking tour on Hydra. I understand the cost of ship and food. For me coming off a cruise a week prior this was just average. Skip and island and give us more time at other two
Walked to port point from boom gates.Welcomed by staff trad costume, photo.Hydra & Aegeis lovely. No dock Paros.1.5 hrs home.
Was a vip and it was worth the extra money Georgina and Julia were great I had my own personal host in the vip section and he took great care of me
This is a long 12 hour tour that is well worth it, from pick up at around 7 am to return to hotel after 7. We went to Hydros, Poros and Aegina. We sprang for the VIP tickets and got picked up at the hotel in a van and taken to the port and ship, and were seated in an area at the front of the ship where we had tables and chairs outside and a comfy lounge inside. The ship crew was very professional and friendly, and our VIP assistant, multilingual Jordan was fantastic. Georgina, also multilingual, was excellent as she explained the itinerary of the tour in detail and gave opinions for additional tours on the island stops. The duration of the island visits was perfect. Hydra was very scenic and has no cars so donkeys and carts ferry overnight guests’ luggage. There are nice higher end shops on Hydra. Poros was a short stop and was beautiful. Then there was a longer stop on Aegina where we were taken by bus to temple ruins overlooking the sea, and then to a cathedral. The time at sea on the boat was incredibly scenic, passing close to islands and seeing beautiful boats sailing. Plenty of drinks, Greek snacks and food was served. We were met at the port and taken back to our hotel. I highly recommend this trip.
Avoid at all costs! First of all altså book travel fixed everything for me afterwards. But the staff on Athens day cruises are rude. And they did not live up to anything promised on beforehand. First and inly time I have to go back on my own because the activity was so bad...
The islands were beautiful. We were told we would have beach time but did not. By the time all the people got off the boat we only had a short time on the island. I also did not like the sales pitch for guides and yours on the island. We loved the entertainment, the DJ/dancers and musicians were what made this trip worth it.
It was not good experience, no one inform us for the transports arrangement which we have already paid… luckily the driver found us.
Sapporo was the BEST!!! He took care of everything for us. I wish we could have stayed longer on the islands especially Aegina. By the time we finally got off the ship we only had 30-40 minutes and that’s hard especially on Aegina.
Initially the information about pick up was confusing but we made it. The experience itself was much better than we ever anticipated! The islands were absolutely amazing just wish we could have spent more time on each. There were lots of things to do even if you don't do a tour on each island. On the boat one of the servers really stood out! He was very courteous and helpful! His name is Spelas and so kind and thoughtful to so many guests!!
We took the one day cruise to get an idea of what a full cruise vacation would be like. We arranged for a VIP level experience. However, the ship is far from Handicapped friendly. Four men tried to carry my wife up the stairs until I asked them if they would do that at every island stop. We wound up on the main level and that was fine. Spiros was assigned to us as a helper. He was great. Helped in a lot of different ways. Made the cruise nice. However, after about 10 hours on the boat, the tour became a drag. The entertainment portion was folk dancing on the top deck. Today I said, they have a large screen TV in the lower level. Why don't they just do a closed-circuit TV broadcast so we could have joined in. While the ship had one handicap/wheelchair toilet, it was difficult to get to because there was a threshhold in the way going into the toilet. It took 2 of us to get my wife to the "loo" and that was about 5 times during the cruise. Food was excellent and there was more than enough. I would give them about 4 starts because of our special needs that we brought on deck. The facilities could be better.
I really enjoyed this day - there is not a lot of time at any of the islands, but the atmosphere is great. The boat was significantly larger than I expected, but this was a surprise, not a problem. If you take one of the optional tours - it doesn't leave any time for general exploring, so bear that in mind when making your choices.
Absolutely Delightful !..........Highly recommend the VIP option......You really get treated like a special person.
By the time our group from the bus got to the boat it was already crowded. Hard to find seats for 2. Some is due to the other guests spreading out (many of the couches and tables for 6 would have 3 people at them with their bags and feet on the extra space!) and some was due to the set up of the seating and how many seats are sold. Somepne finally found two seats for us but with no table and limited shade we were not too comfortable. So when they announced the chance to opg are to VIP (almost doubling the cost) we took it. YOLO. The VIP lounge was comfortable, quiet and with unlimited soft drinks and served meals (vs buffet) we were able to enjoy the trip. The walking tour in Hydra and the bus tour in Aegina was informative and fun. We only had 45 minutes in Poros and didn't feel like climbing up to the clock tower so we just looked around and came back to the bus. There was no early or easier disembarkation for the VIP but they did send us home in a car with just two other couples saving lots of time over the bus we came on. In short a fun day and good way to see some islands but only if you go with VIP upgrade.
All beverages cost. They are not included in the ticket price. Pictures were great. The beach was marvelous! Lunch was good. The entertainment was great fun! Very happy and good staff
I booked the Executive Suite VIP tour. Completely and pleasantly surprised at the unbelievable service and attention we received. When they say VIP they mean it. We were ushered to every tour. We were first in line. They actually moved people out of our way. VIP lounge area was super comfortable and they never stopped being snacks and drinks. I would definitely recommend this package if anyone is able to spend the money.
Day cruise to 3 islands. Staff were wonderful. Pick-up and drop-off were perfect. Ship was very nice. Right amount of time at each island. Can gladly recommend.
This was an amazing 1 day island hopping cruise to 3 Islands. They all were amazing. We did the VIP package. I would highly recommend taken this tour. We paid for the VIP package. It so worth it. All the staff was so wonderful and friendly and kind and took very good care of us. Food was wonderful.
Optional excursions were reasonably priced and very well done. Food on ship was good. Staff were attentive and nice. A great tour to sample smaller islands.
We had a bit of a mixed experience on our Greek island tour. I debated between giving it 3 or 4 stars, but ultimately landed on 3—not because everything was bad, but because I think the company should consider how certain situations can really affect what is a pretty pricey trip… stay with me. Unfortunately, the day we booked coincided with a local school group joining the tour. That meant over half the passengers were under 15, and it made for a much less relaxing experience. From the moment we boarded, the noise was constant. Kids were yelling, blasting music from speakers, bumping into people, and roaming around the ship in large groups. We were constantly having to move out of their way. What made it more frustrating was the lack of supervision—there didn’t seem to be any active chaperones. I even saw other passengers stepping in to correct their behavior. I’m not saying these kids shouldn’t get the experience—in fact, it was kind of sweet seeing them enjoy something in their own culture. Buuuut the company should really consider grouping large school parties separately, instead of mixing a boat full of pre-teens with adults who were expecting a relaxing and enjoyable day on the water. The route itself was fine, and the idea of the tour is great, but the overall environment really took away from the experience. If you’re planning this trip near the end of the school year, I’d suggest checking ahead or maybe skipping it during that time—it seriously impacted the vibe. Food was okay—not great, not terrible. We’ve had better and worse on other boat tours. Staff was friendly, and bathrooms were cleaned between stops, though again, the kids made such a mess that it barely made a difference. Drinks were reasonably priced: €1 for water, €3.50 for soda, and around €12 for cocktails. Also worth noting—boarding and disembarking was chaotic. With around 550 people funneled through one small door, it took forever to get on and off the boat. Overall, the experience wasn’t terrible, but it definitely wasn’t what we’d hoped for.
This One Day Cruise to Hydra, Poros and Aegina from Athens promised to be an interesting day, but due to bad weather conditions the Cruise had to be terminated after visiting only one island (Aegina). Out of goodwill, I received a partial refund of the cruise. The boat was full of people, but all was well organised and crew helpful.
Overall, everything was good. I liked the islands, the views and the sea. But I didn’t like the organization - many things felt messy and unorganized. And there were so many people on the ship that I was hard sometimes to find a place to sit. Also the amount of money you pay is for transportation and lunch (the drinks should have been paid separately as well as excursions on the islands).
This tour was a letdown overall. It lasted around 12 hours, with about 8 of those spent cruising between islands. While the cruise staff were friendly, it was just too much time on the boat and not enough on the islands. The first stop, Hydra, is beautiful. The second stop, Poros, felt unnecessary. It’s tiny and we had only 45 minutes in total, including getting on and off the cruise. Barely enough time for a short pier walk. Last stop was Aegina, where we tried the bus tour at 24 euro person, unfortunately, it was just driving around with tinted windows and one 15-minute stop at a church. Lunch on the cruise had plenty of food, but it was pretty substandard. The islands are definitely pretty, but the tour doesn’t give you enough time to enjoy any of them properly. If you like packing in multiple stops quickly, it might work for you. Personally, it was a very long day with too little to actually see or do on land.
The crew was great! Let’s Book Travel was not good at all! Did not pick us up in time had to pay more to make the ship! Do your research before you book VIP! Viator was excellent! Look at the reviews before you book!
This is a well-organized trip that includes 3 unique islands. Each is memorable and worth a visit. There is enough time on each to get a taste for it. The lunch buffet is included and there was always drinks and coffee available for purchase. The wi-fi on board didn’t allow us to connect, but there is good cell service throughout the day as well as places to charge a phone. Bring a book to read or game to play, as there are long stretches of time at sea.
Very well organised from the pick up till drop off. Hosts were very helpful. All islands visited were amazing
This is basically just transportation to the islands, tours on the islands aren’t included. And then you have very limited time on the islands. It’s better to just get your own transportation and stay as long as you want. There’s also a lot of wasted time while on the boat as literally nothing is happening on the 3 hour ride to Hydra (other than them selling everyone tour tickets). In the way back there some entertainment but it’s not accessible to everyone because it’s only in one area that’s densely occupied, and literally nobody else can squeeze in there. But the tours we took on Hydra and Aegina were good.
Easiest walking temple in Greece and great views. If you can afford it up grade to VIP and relax in climate control comfort
We upgraded to VIP class and it was 100% worth it. We were picked up from our hotel by Panos who shared insights about Athens and what to expect for the day. Then we skipped the check in line and went straight to the VIP cabin to sit in a private cabin for the rest of our cruise with other VIPs. We had unlimited non alcoholic drink options and the alcoholic drinks were reasonably priced. A beer and a wine were roughly 16 Euro. We had first pick at excursions, a plated lunch from the buffet allowing us to skip the line and we could access the rest of the ship if we chose to do so. 100% recommend upgrading.
Definitely worth to go to this cruise. Beautiful islands, magnificent views. I would advise to take a bus trip to explore the island Aegina to see the Temple of Aphina and try delicious pistachio ice cream. Delicious buffet style food on the boat after the first stop, amazing and funny crew show makes the trip even more enjoyable. We have a lot of nice memories to keep.
The whole trip was fun from the boat ride to the dancing and optional tour! The pistachio ice cream on the island was amazing!
This was a fabulous trip. I have mobility problems and use a walker. The staff on the boat were so helpful, patient and understanding. The islands were a joy to visit. The food was really plentiful, hot and tasty. I thought it was good value and well organised.
if I had it to do over again - I wouldn't… there is nothing overtly wrong with this tour - and it delivered everything that was promised. But it's 9 hours of being on a boat, and 3 hours broken up time walking around tourist shops on small islands. The islands themselves are lovely, charming and well worth a visit - probably more than a 1 hour visit is the key issue here. The ship was a bit older, but well kept, but not impressively maintained - again nothing wrong, just did not ooze "I'm fabulous". I think Hydra, Poros, and Aigina are fabulous destinations, and worthy of more than 1 hour walking around. there is an upsell to tours that are not included - this turned me and my wife off… VIP is the way to go on this trip 100% - but you need to adjust your expectations. This is _NOT_ first class or business class upgrade. This is a "make it suck less" upgrade. And the VIP lounge while nice from a point of view of more room and more comfortable couches vs. non-Vip alternatives - it was small, dark, and lacked big windows - and in December it was too cold to be outside if I did this again I would do VIP again 100% because doing this as non-VIP would be 100% drudgery…but go in with your eyes open - this is not a 1st/business class experience, it's just slightly less cattle-car'ish… food was "meh" alcohol was not included with VIP tours were "meh" - we gave up on the walking tour in Hydra the best tour was the Temple tour on Aigina - but it took the entire time while on the island so we got to do nothing else… also I would never do this tour again in December…and we had about the best you could expect for weather in december, but sooooooo many stores/shops/food was closed given the 'off season' 3 stars because the tour description is accurate, and it was still nice to visit - but not a lot was accomplished for being stuck on a boat for 9 hours and it makes for a very very long day (12 hours) I highly recommend visiting the islands in a way that you can actually spend some time on each of them: I'd suggest: Hydra for a non-car small island experience, and Aigina for more amenities and interesting stuff - Poros can probably be skipped.
Excellent trip visiting Hydra, Poros & Aegina. We were picked up and dropped back to our hotel. The boat was spacious and clean, food and staff great.
I don't usually leave reviews but I read so many on this day out before I booked it that I thought I should share my thoughts in the hope of helping others. Having just been to Mykonos, Corfu and Santorini prior to this tour, I wondered if I was 'over' the islands and it may have been a waste to do another island tour. I was wrong...Hydra, Poros and Aegina are gorgeous and well worth visiting. Hydra was my favourite (1h20m here). They will offer you a walking tour at an extra cost but this wasn't necessary. It is a very easy town to walk around and explore on your own - walk all the way around and up to the windmill around the left corner. Pyros isn't as busy and the lesser amount of time you are given here (50 mins) is adequate. Aegina is lovely too - we chose to do the Panoramic Nature tour and weren't disappointed. You get to see a bit of the island, the fancy houses and a lovely Monastery. Warning - When you first board the boat, you have a 3-hour trip to Hydra which is the island that is the furthest away. After that you have about an hour between each of the other islands as you are hworking your way back towards Athens with each one. Plan to sleep, catch up on social media or watch out the window during this time as it is awhile with nothing to do. The biggest question I had was to book VIP tickets or not. I decided to go for it and I was actually glad that I did. Perks - you get picked up by a shuttle bus from your Athens hotel which makes getting to the port in the morning super easy. You also have priority getting on and off the boat at the start of the trip and at each island. This may not sound like a huge deal but when there are several hundred people on board, not wasting your time shuffling along in a line to get off maximises your free time on the islands to explore and we found it really handy. VIP passengers have their own section of the boat that is set up with comfy sofas, cushions and chairs. There are a set number of people in VIP so it cannot become crowded and you have your own space that is yours for the day - it is heated or cooled too depending on the weather. Each sofa area has USB charging available so we could charge our phones along the way. On top of this, you get free soft drink, juices, tea or coffee all day, morning tea (falafel, biscuits and dip with ouzo or orange juice), a buffet lunch (chicken, fish, pasta, rice, salads and dessert - you do get this lunch even if you are not in VIP) and one of the tours offered throughout the day is free for you (either the walking tour in Hydra or the Panoramic or Cultural tours in Aegina). I know it comes down to money but if you can afford to splurge, we felt that the VIP was a nicer way to travel for the day. The general areas were crowded and if you are not on the boat early, many of the good spots are already taken. In my photos, you can see the VIP area with the sofas, the other pics are the general area - one inside and one outside on the top deck of the boat in the open seating. There is also a photo of each island. I would definitely recommend the day and VIP if you can.
