Explore with us the hidden neighborhood of Anafiotika. This is the oldest neighborhood of Athens, what was actually a "built over night" neighborhood by its residents, the talented marble restorers of the ancient monument of the Parthenon and the Acropolis. Travel back in time, through the narrow streets that only a motorcycle can pass by. This neighborhood took its name from the island of Anafi. This is a picturisque neighborhood outside the common tourist map. We will share with you stories of the neighborhood while riding in narrow streets that ressemble a cycladic istand. About 65 residents live in this Acropolis neighborhood, in a scene that reminds of Mykonos. Narrow streets, white small houses with bougainvilleas and geraniums give a special color to the area. What the older ones considered a "poor man's paradise" that spoiled the aesthetics of the city today is a romantic spot that only a few are aware of. We will stop for photos.
The neighborhood that surrounds the Acropolis, a region that will turn you back 300 years when modern Athens started being built. We will enjoy the quiet alleys surrounded by traditional buildings & we will pass through Ancient Greek and Roman monuments. You will have the unique opportunity to experience this experience from the safe and comfortable seat of our sidecar. Our drivers are Athenians born and raised here. Plaka has a lots of picturesque and traditional spots for pictures and we will give you the ability to enjoy this unique ride in the pace you will choose. Plaka took its name from its Arvanite colonists during the Turkish occupation and in the Arvanites language it means old city. Today, it is considered a very chic neighborhood with traditional taverns, cafes and stores that are enjoyed by the Athenians and its tourists during the whole year.
It will fascinate you in the first moment we will complete the climb with our motorcycle among the pine forest at the Paryfes of the hill. The rock as we call this hill with the magnificent view of all of Athens and the Acropolis took its name from the ancient word Lycava that means annual, a hides at the annual celebration of ancient God. Great time - was able to stop and take pics of landmarks. Dimitri was so nice and explained all the sites. Loved seeing Athens with a local to guide us. He was a great driver navigating all the traffic. Neat way to get round.

What a FUN way to see Athens! 🇬🇷🏍️ I ride motorcycles myself, so being chauffeured around in Dimitri’s sidecar was a hilarious change of pace. For once, I got to enjoy the ride, take in the sights, and let someone else worry about the throttle! 😂 plus he was also a great photographer! Bonus 👏😎 Dimitri was fantastic, friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience so much fun. Cruising through Athens by motorcycle and sidecar gives you such a different perspective of the city and is definitely more exciting than your typical sightseeing tour. Exciting and fun way to see Athens! We were able to climb Lycabettus Hill, walk around the Panathenaic Stadium and tour the Plaka neighborhood. Dimitris and Dimitris were courteous and professional and ensured we had a memorable experience. Highly recommend!
The tour was educational and most importantly fun. We would highly recommend it. A sidecar tour is a great way to experience a city and get a great perspective of things. Our driver Dimitri was friendly, informative and patient. Once you take a sidecar tour you will want to do it in every city you visit.
Nothing better than to see Athens off your feet and through the eyes of locals! They zipped us through the best neighborhoods and to the 'must-sees' -- and when my elderly MIL (in the sidecar!) couldn't walk far enough to reach a museum during one stop, they pivoted and took us someplace else. Very accommodating, very knowledgable, very nice. Heads up: it's a bumpy ride (the streets of Athens need some attention) and the traffic can be brutal, but these guys navigate it with ease. Highly recommend!
This was one of the highlights of our entire trip to Athens! There were three of us, including our 13 year old son. We were picked up directly at our hotel and immediately felt welcomed by Demetrious and Jorge. My husband and I rode in the sidecar while our son rode on the back of the motorcycle, and he thought it was the coolest thing ever. The tour was an absolute blast from start to finish. We saw the changing of the guard, the university, beautiful areas of the city we never would have found on our own, and some of the most incredible views of Athens, including breathtaking views of the Acropolis and Parthenon. The sidecar experience itself was so much fun and provided a unique perspective of the city. What really made the tour special, though, was Demetrious and Jorge. They genuinely cared about making sure we had a great experience. They were friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and clearly passionate about what they do. It felt less like a tour and more like exploring Athens with friends who wanted to show us the very best of their city. If you’re visiting Athens, do not hesitate to book this tour. It was fun, memorable, family friendly, and unlike anything else we did during our trip. We would absolutely do it again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for an unforgettable experience in Athens.
Great attentive service. Met us at our hotel with helmets and took us through traffic up the hill to wonderful views. The owner was one of our drivers and he was giving us info about different sights on our way up and down the hill. Even gave us a recommendation for great dinner in town that night. At the top of the hill, Our daughter slipped, scraped her ankle, and he got us a big of ice to put on it. Would recommend for others to get up Mount Lycabettus

My 12 year old son and I came to Athens expecting ancient ruins, olives, and the best tasting gyros. What I didn’t expect? Falling in love… with a vintage motorbike. The moment I hopped onto the beautiful bike, I felt like I was starring in my own retro European film. I rearranged the tour a number of times (very last minute!) due to the poor weather forecast, but nothing was a problem! Stelios arrived on very short-notice and on time. He was a gentleman. Riding through Athens like this is something else entirely. You don’t just see the city—you feel it. The breeze, the buzz, it’s all part of the charm. Stopping off at certain points to take photos and view the scenery was great. Would I recommend it? Absolutely. Just remember to practice your 'cool nod' when others admire your vintage bike aura.
I came across this unique experience by chance and am glad that i did. THIS WAS COMPLETELY FUN!! Racing down the streets of Athens at high speeds but smooth ride due to the low centre of mass and extra wheels of a sidecar was an absolute riot. And the drive up and down Mount Lycabettus was phenomenal too, with the views of Athens getting better and better. Had an excellent time and would recommend this to anyone looking for a unique, memorable and extremely fun thing to do in Athens. Also a shoutout to my bikerider Nicos, who was a total pro and shared fun anecdotes as well as recommendations on enjoying Athens like a local. I have recommended this to my friends as a Must-do experience. 5 out of 5 Stars from me!

It was a fun, exhilarating drive. I had great videos and pics! I wish I didn’t pick a time of rush hour, so take that into consideration. You’ll be sitting in traffic… breathing other cars’ fumes… but besides that, it was really amazing and i still recommend it.
Absolutely wonderful! Apart from being a truly unique way to see central Athens off-the-main-streets, the side car 90’ tour made for lifetime memories. Dimitris was delightful, kept us well informed and provided useful insights and suggestions for the rest of our short visit. Ride up and views from Lycabettus are not to be missed. Any safety concerns vanished after a quick briefing and the first minute of the ride. We truly don’t want this trip to end.

This is a great way to see the city, especially getting around to some of the gems that you may normally miss. Communications leading to the trip were excellent. This was so fun! Our driver was flexible on time with our booking, picked us up at the Acropolis amd safely delivered us back to our hotel. Made a stop at the Olympic Stadium before the ride to Lycabettus. What a great way to see the sites! Traffic in Athens is insane and I felt totally safe the entire time. Would definitely recommend! Our driver also gave us some wonderful restaurant recommendations away from the tourist areas and it didn't disappoint.

We had a fabulous morning around Athens. To be driven around Athens on a sidecar is not for the feint hearted however we felt safe all of the time with our amazing driver. He took us to the highest point in Athens where we could look all over the city taking in 360 degrees. Seeing the Acropolis from above and the Olympic Stadium was a real treat. The most amazing part of the tour was all through the old town through the Plaka and the original market areas before trying to escape the gridlock of the area. A masterful drive in one of the toughest environments.

Our tour driver was prompt, friendly, and very patient. We got a tour of the highest point in Athens and other high points of Athens, along with a tour of some of the traffic of Athens. Very skillful driver! It was quite the adrenaline rush at points. We really enjoyed it!
