Tuktuk Athens Private Evening / Afternoon Complete Tour - City Center & Old Town

We had a wonderful experience touring Athens! Our tour guides were incredibly knowledgeable, informative, and courteous. They made the experience both enjoyable and memorable, sharing fascinating insights into the city’s rich history and beautiful landmarks. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to explore the highlights of Athens without having to do too much walking. It was a fantastic way to see and appreciate this beautiful city!

Great way to get an overview of Athens with a knowledgeable driver/guide. Book in advance as this tour will go quick.

The tour was not what we expected, we thought this would be a nice slow ride around town. The only time it was slow was when we were in traffic. Most of the roads are very bumpy which makes for a very uncomfortable ride. The highlight was going up to Mount Lycabettus (the price to go up is not included) Had it not been our first stop, we would have stayed longer and passed on the rest of the Tuk Tuk tour.

Awesome. Hit all the key spots in old Athens and plenty of time to take pictures. The guide was very informative and pointed out key events and structures.

Joseph did a wonderful job of educating us on the history of Athens, showing us some amazing sights and entertaining us while negotiating the narrow lanes and constant traffic. He stopped frequently to show off monuments and sit in the back with us to explain the history. He was passionate, enthusiastic and had a great sense of humour which made the tour a delight to experience. The only point to bear in mind is Tuk Tuk suspension is very firm and not recommended for bad backs, however, as a way to get an overview of Athens and it's history we thoroughly recommend this tour, especially if guided by Joseph.

Loved the experience with Joseph. He took great care of us. Even though the Plaka was closed because of the explosion we still saw so much.

The Tuktuk tour easily got us around Athens to see some of the outlining spots including the Olympic stadium and Mount Lycabettus (Lykavittos / Λυκαβηττός). There were plenty of stops for pictures. And I almost left out that got to see the changing of the guard.

Joseph was an amazing guide. His passion for his city was unmatched. He did a great job in 2 hours showing us the highlights. It was my father in laws favorite part of the trip.

We had a great tuk tuk tour with Joseph, Chris, and Mannus. We had a group of 11 with kids and were in 3 tuk tuks that drove together. Our guides were very fun and informative, great with the kids. We did the afternoon tour the day we arrived (from US with overnight flight) and it was nice not to have to walk too much that day and get a good orientation of the downtown area. We highly recommend this tour! Book early.

We have done tuk tuk tours in many places around the world and this was the first one we were disappointed with Our guide was great but the tour lacked substance. We just felt like we were driving around in circles and kept passing Roman Agora We were driven to Lycabettus Hill where we had to queue for tickets in the funicular to quickly to up and get photos to then come back down We flew past buildings and monuments like we were rushing somewhere with no time to take photos We thought this would be a great way to see different parts of Athens without more walking but it left us disappointed

Our guide, Joseph, was excellent. Passionate about his country and very knowledgeable. Stopped several times for us to take pictures and give us info about the area and what we were seeing. This tour was on our last night and I considered cancelling it because I had seen most of the city. Joseph brought us to several unique stops. Gave us info that was new and very worth the tour. Roads in Athens can be very bumpy so be prepared for a bumpy ride! Great tour that covers lots of Athens must sees.

Joseph took us on the Tuk Tuk tour on the first day we arrived in Athens. His enthusiasm and energy was amazing. You could feel his love for the city based on how excited he was to tell us about Athens. It was such a great way to get an overview of the city and learn some core information about the city. I would recommend this to anyone.

Christos did a fantastic job and made sure to get to everything on the itinerary. He was very knowledgeable and happy to answer any questions and was delightful in conversation. He even asked us if we wanted to see anything else after we went through the whole itinerary.

This was a great excursion that we would highly recommend. Very knowledgeable guide and great fun travelling in the tuk tuk!

After a small scheduling hiccup and a late start, (a hour) our tour guide was amazing and worth the wait. Manolo was funny, knowledgeable and engaging. HE made up for the wait (an internet tech glitch) and adjusted the trip for traffic to ensure we saw it ALL…. And more! And even dropped us off at the market since we were hungry. We wanted to hire him for the rest of the week because the ride was open air comfy and he knew the city so well. Highly recommend- only suggestion, take the 630 tour cause it would be sooo pretty at night.

We ended our 2 week trip in Athens and had only booked the Acropolis Museum and Acropolis tickets. Due to exhaustion we took it easy and booked this tour with Manos as a guide. We were picked up at our Hotel and we spent 2 hours riding through Old Town and the city. He offered lots of history and answered any questions we had. Since we had toured certain parts of the city on our own he emphasized other areas. The highlight was “the hill”and the Pan Athenian stadium. Manos paced this to be informative, enough time for pics, not rushed and thoroughly enjoyable after enduring lots of walking and the heat. 12 out of 10.

Worth the money. We loved seeing everything and not having to walk. Our guide took extra good care of us.

We did the tuck tuck experience and had a wonderful time. Our driver/guide Christos was funny and well informed. He did a great job showing us the highlights of Athens. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Greece for the first time.

Manos was amazing! It was just the two of us (we expected a larger group with other tourists based on the maximum, so this was a nice surprise. He kept us informed and entertained throughout the trip. We were able to take our time at each stop without being rushed, especially since he knew how to avoid busier streets, and he gave ample time for pictures on the drive by locations. We'd highly recommend this to other travelers in Athens, and hope to find Tuk Tuk tours in other cities for future vacations.

We had a great time on this excursion. We did this on our first day in Athens and are so glad we did. We were able to see so many things and our guide was so smart and well spoken- he provided wonderful insight to everything he showed us. We were able to stop and get some photos and this helped us decide what areas we wanted to go back and see and maybe spend more time at later in our trip. This did a great job of helping us learn about the area and so many wonderful sights in Athens.

It was fun riding around the city in the Tuk Tuk and the guide was very informative. While I think we followed the listed itinerary we certainly didn’t stop at all the places listed.

We had an incredible ride with Christophe’s. He was very attentive, showed us all the highlights & even stopped to let us get Greek yogurt at the BEST spot in town! This was a great way to get a first day in Athens overview. It was fun & engaging! Highly recommend!

A great experience! Our driver provided us with a great historical background, and allowed us to grab a bunch of awesome pictures. A great experience for fans of history, and casual travelers alike.

We traveled with handicapped adults, and this was a great way for them to see the city. We loved stopping at Mount Lycabettus and the Olympic stadium, but every other stop was a drive by while pointing out the building, with no commentary. We finished in 1.5 hours. Expensive for what it was!

Wonderful way to enjoy the city highlights when it is hot. Fun ride with lots of great spots of Athens covered by the driver. Also lots of food recommendations.

This is a tour that you don't want to miss! We have done Tuk Tuk tours in different locations around the world (Bangkok, Madrid) and have found them to be so much fun because you are in an open-air vehicle, zipping down small streets and into locations that larger vehicles can't get in to. The vehicles are very clean too. So, when I saw this tour, I jumped at it! On this particular tour, we had Joseph, a wonderful guide who knew EVERYTHING about Greece in general, Athens, and all the incredible history that goes with it. He took us everywhere in Athens, stopping for many photos along the way, and enlightening us with many stories about the ancient Athenians (my favorite story was about the birth of democracy/voting in Athens.) We had been to many of the stops before, as we had done a city tour of Athens the day before, but it was just wonderful to get even more information about the city, even a different prospective. Joseph was totally engaged & so excited to share the history and special tidbits -- you could just hear it in his voice! So, don't miss out! It's smart to take a light jacket on this tour, as it can get a bit chilly while zipping along in the afternoon/evening. The tour company might also want to include some light blankets as that might make it more comfortable for some folks. But feeling the wind through your hair is part of the fun of a Tuk Tuk! We really enjoyed this. We did the two hour afternoon tour. We had limited time in Athens and this was a great way to see the highlights of Athens in a short time. Manos was our driver and he was really great. He had so much information to share about the city. He picked us up promptly at the hotel and dropped us off at the restaurant we were planning for dinner. We can't recommend the tuk tuk tour enough.
