Private Transfer Athens Airport Pick-up (Shuttle Service)

Our experience was not good. Some caveats-we traveled to Athens on a Sunday and our flight arrived an 1.5 early. I tried messaging (we had internet on the plane). and I called as soon as we landed. No one responded or acknowledged my texts or call.s Once our pickup time arrived and still no driver we called Viator. Eventually they reached the driver and he arrived 30 minutes late. They said it was Sunday so they do not open until 9 and I guess do not answer calls or sent communication if they are running late. The driver was nice once he arrived and the trip was easy but lack of communication and delay in pickup was very stressful and unnecessary.

Our driver, Fanis, was first class. He messaged us on our arrival that he was awaiting our arrival, which was very good as our flight was late. We were that impressed with the service that we booked him for a further transfer while we were in Athens.

Disappointed with this experience. Paid $94 for a ride to Athens. Thought it would be a nice car with a driver to greet us. It was basically just a taxi ride, which would have been half the price. This was a rip off!

Driver was very courteous and prompt. The car was clean and the ride was very nice. A quick reminder to US travelers: Make sure you have whatsapp installed on your phone. Makes communication with your drivers much easier. I totally forgot I had installed it and when my phone started ringing, I wasn't sure how to answer it!

I reserved private transfer for four individuals and was told when I arrived that they cannot accommodate our luggage because we had two pieces of luggage and we were only allowed one piece of luggage per person. This was not told to us before booking or at the booking, so it was very unclear we ended up having to pay €60 just to reserve, another car for our luggage.

The driver was kind, courteous and polite. The view and journey of Greece to the hotel was great. Driver was knowledgeable about in Greece culture.

This company texted me right after the reservation was made and hearing that my daughter was a bit anxious about flying in alone made contact with her beforehand and gave us excellent service that made her trip so much easier. Simple and convenient pickup driver waiting with a sign also communicated that they arrived while I was waiting for my bags. Friendly and safe driver.

Teo is a true treasure. I booked three transfers with him as well as a day tour and when we left at the airport I felt I was saying goodbye to a friend. He is such a genuinely nice person with such an upbeat outlook on life. I really enjoyed my time with him and can’t recommend him enough!

Great company! Very friendly and most of all, professional! I’ve contacted them a few days before for the drive from the airport to the appartment and they confirmed the booking right away. The day before the arrival we received a picture of our driver who would pick us up. And the day of the arrival we recieved a welcome to Athens message with the picture of the exit where they were waiting. We booked their airport transfer service the night before our flight, but nonetheless their response was very quick. Thakis, our driver, arrived early to pick us up and the trip to the airport was fast. My friend and I didn't talk much during the drive because of exhaustion but Thakis was still very friendly and helpful to us when he dropped us off! Would 100% recommend to book their service!

The driver was perfectly on time (a couple of minutes early, actually), the communication with the company was absolutely amazing (we contacted them via Whatsapp) - they sent us a confirmation, a picture of the car that would get us, all details concerning payment as well as a text when the driver arrived. We chose Happy Transfer because the price is very convenient: only € 40 to go from Piraeus to the Airport !!! (If you compare the prices of the train + subway there will be little difference). The ship arrived in Piraeus one hour early so we contacted Happy Tansfer who made herself available immediately !!!
