The tour guide was exceptional—knowledgeable, engaging, and well-prepared. Advance tickets were arranged, allowing us to make the most of our time without waiting in long lines. The team was very accommodating to our needs. Notes for future travelers: All major attractions are quite crowded, and the tour includes approximately two miles of walking over uneven surfaces. This itinerary does not include the Plaka district. The cost includes 55 € per person entry fees Highly recommend this tour for anyone seeking a smooth, well-organized experience in Athens.

If you can get tour guide, Maria and driver George, you will have an amazing time. Maria was so informative, so nice, and easy going. She made the tour relaxing and fun. Gearge, the driver , was also friendly and outgoing. Both made a good team. Private tour is the way to go. You just get more out of it. It’s worth the extra cost.

The locations to visit are wonderful. The acropolis and the museum especially. For the rest it was only a quick look through the car window, with no visit and limited explanation. There seem to have been a misunderstanding as we didn’t visit all the locations listed on the list. The car and driver were great. Our guide had a strong accent that made it a bit hard to understand. It was also a bit of a shame that we could not get tickets for an early visit of the acropolis, and that we had to visit around 11/12 when the sun was very hot. We had to buy the tickets extra for 120€ for 3 people, in addition to 640€ for the visit, it’s a bit steep for the quality we got.

Great tour and an excellent guide. “Mercury” was awesome and has great knowledge. He can tailor the tour to your interests or needs. Traffic in Athens to meet up is a bite but what can you do. Highly recommend this tour.

The watching of changing of guards at the Prime Minister’s home. And of course the Acropolis and museum were fine.

I chose to do this private tour with my group of 7 for the day we had in Athens from our NCL cruise. While NCL offered a similar excursion, they were far more expensive, for exactly the same itinerary. In hindsight, I made the right decision on so many levels. First, we paid less for a private tour of seven as opposed to the NCL guests that booked through the ship, paid more, and were on a bus with over 60 per bus, and at least 5 buses at each site....so 300 vs 7. Second, they did not have Cornelia, who was our tour guide, and so knowledgeable and energetic. She was an absolute doll, who was so sweet and caring, while also taking no back seat to any larger group or getting pushed around. She made sure that we saw everything, even though the traffic in Athens had cut in to at least an hour of our tour. We didn't miss anything and she was incredible! Third, Chris, our driver, whose catchphrase "Never fear, Chris is here" is so appropriate, because he worked so well with Cornelia. She was doing everything in her power to make sure we saw everything, and he let her go up the last minute before he safely, but surely raced us back to the Port so we were in time to for our ship. I heard from many NCL guests that they didn't get to see much of Athens, and would have used it for an "At Sea" day because it was so wasted due to the distance and crowded excursions. I am so grateful that we got to see it all. Thank you Cornelia and Chris, you saved our day!

Worthwhile tour with a very knowledgeable tour guide who through in some extra sights and stopped for photo opportunities along the way.
