Our guide was great! Very knowledgeable of the area we traversed. We got to see goats, sheep, and a horse. We picked fresh fruit from the vine, delicious, no pesticides, only water. Highly recommend this adventure. We had 2 kids ages 7 and 10 that also enjoyed themselves and may have found some water to play in. Parents bring an extra set of clothes.

We’ve had an amazing time with Yvonne from Off Road Experience! We truly saw another side of Greece. The mountains were beautiful and the scenery stunning. Lots of cold water and some freshly baked pastries which were delicious. We even stopped by to pick fresh fruit - figs and grapes, helped a tortoise who was lying on her back and stopped by a river with lots of fish. A truly wonderful and unforgettable experience :).

we are 2 brothers the went to the tour with the guide Yvonne and its was incredible! we made an incredible ride through the wooden areas of the mountains surrounding Athens. The guide was very personable and a great conversationalist. She told us about Greece, the population of the outskirts of Athens. Our first experience of ozo and great homemade potato stuffed pastry with olive oil. We've seen goats, birds ,turtles ,old churches and stunning views throughout. One of our best experiences in Greece. Thanks Yvonne!! 💙🤍

Yvonne absolutely wow'd us on this trip. She is a brilliant guide, excellent off roader and the trip out around the olive groves, reservoir and beautiful streams/rivers was amazing. Yvonne even prepared hearty food including homemade marble cake - it was delicious! We would highly recommend this stunning trip out - we remain in awe at Yvonne's master handling of her superb off roader vehicle and she is an excellent teacher for those taking the wheel, too. It s such fun!

Perfect trip! Amazing view from the top of mountains. The guide told us a lot of interesting things, she is also a very great person, always smiling. Delicious sandwiches 😊 I can wholeheartedly recommend off Road! It's not possible to explore the mountains with out her!

A very fun experience for those who love adventure, nature and history. We were picked up and dropped off from our accommodation by Yvonne who was an expert and informative host. We drove off road through the beautiful area stopping to sample fresh figs, grapes and pistachios. Plenty of photo stops to view the panoramic Marathon lake and learn the history of Marathon. We had an opportunity to view and learn about the historic Dam at Marathon. Tasty picnic snacks were also provided. We all enjoyed the experience very much.

It was such a great experience and I’m still amazed by the view and everything we saw during the off-road trip! Our tour guide was super nice and put a lot of effort into the tour to make it an unforgettable experience! It’s an adventure that everyone who visits Athens has to go on!

We like this tour because We had the opportunity to be in contact with nature! It is all about the springs, the lake, the farms, the silence! It is difficult to find fresh air in Athens!

Yvonne was absolutely incredible. This is a must do experience when traveling to Athens! We were able to escape the city for a few hours and enjoy breathtaking views, see some of the beautiful natural flora of Greece, and experience one-of-a-kind adventures off road! Yvonne was very helpful with great recommendations for exploring Athens and providing great conversation for the ride (nice facts along the way too)! 10/10 would recommend!

Excellent trip and great value for money, if like us you don’t want to be herded along with the crowd, this trip is for you, peaceful and calm with the added benefit of seeing some beautiful sites. Yvonne is a fantastic guide and so very knowledgeable on a wide variety of topics, her driving and sense of humour really made the experience a total joy. Absolutely a great experience that is off the beaten track - literally! Had a splendid time learning about Greek history, churches, fig and pistachio trees, and truly enjoying the Greek country side. Homemade snacks were a very nice treat. Couldn’t have planned a better day.

From beginning to end we had a wonderful time! Driving through nature with a 4x4 is an experience you won't regret, from the fun driving (probably nothing like you've done before, trust me!), to the incredible views, the beautiful landscapes where the only sounds are the birds and the running water, and of course enjoying Yvonne's company. We're looking forward to repeat the experience in summer!

4x4 ride through Greek country side and farm lands. Picked grapes from the vine, figs and pistachios from the tree and ate them still warm from the mid day sun. Great conversation with our wonderful and insightful driver. Our driver was flexible with drop off and time. What more could you want out of a day.

Our experience with Off Road Experience and Yvonne was awesome! The guides were so friendly, flexible, and knowledgeable. It was really nice that they were able to come pick us up in the morning so we didn’t have to make any travel arrangements, we just got to relax and take in the sights of the mountains of Athens. I’d recommend this trip to anyone young or old and would do it again on my next trip!

We do not often have the opportunity to feel excitement, thrills, beauty, and kindness on any excursion. You will experience that and more on this very intimate off road 4x4 trip into the mountains outside of Athens. The hosts are incredible with many stops to enjoy figs, pistachios, grapes and other items growing on the hill side. They share the details of the area with a passion. DId you know that all entries to churches in Greece face Westward. That way your never really lost. And the it takes 7kg of olives to make 1litre of oil. It will be a memory that you will not and cannot forget.

We had an amazing trip to Marathon Lake. It was great from the moment Yvonne picked us up. Such a peaceful day with a different experience from the crowded city. Even our two teenagers had fun . Yvonne is a wonderful guide, extremely friendly, she knows every little trail and tree!!! Loved the pistachios trees (-:

We had a great day away seeing the countryside around Marathon Lake. The view was beautiful and the ride was great. Our guide even added in a tour of a local winery which made the experience all that much better.

Me and my boyfriend went on a day trip with Yvonne. We had the most wonderful time. From the moment we got into Yvonne’s car we felt at home, no subject was to small, and a day trip quickly felt like years of friendship. When we got of the road and into the wilderness of things. The tour really took of, it was a bombyride, but at no point where we at discomfort. Yvonne, besides of being a real people person, she’s also a great driver. We had an amazing time and Yvonne’s service was just above and beyond. We really couldn’t be without this tour around the country side. All our wishes was pleased to fullest. Athens is amazing. But Yvonne is the star.

Yvonne was amazing. She was very accommodating to our needs. She new so much about the land and and different plants. It was so nice to get out of the city for half a day! 10 out of 10 recommend!

We had a fantastic morning offroading through the countryside that surrounds Athens. So close by, but it feels a million miles away. It's a private tour, just your group. Our guide was so knowledgeable and we had some great chats and laughs, as we saw the beautiful countryside. It was so much fun getting to drive the 4x4 off-road. It was a good day - we were driven in a jeep for several hours around lake marathon and given the opportunity to drive at one point. Would reccommend.

Our family, 9 of us, were on the trip. Panos was our guide and he told of the history and present times of Greece and the beautiful countryside we were driving though. We went with my husband May’22 for this offroad experience around the Marathon lake with visit to the local winery.We really loved it and enjoyed ourselves- Ivonne is such a wonderful guide, so knowledgeable and passionate about off-roading! First time in Athens became an unforgettable experience when I had booked this. Yvonne was such a great guide, showing us the amazing views that Marathon had to offer. Being able to drive the 4x4 through the mountains was so much fun and would highly recommend to anyone who wants to get out of the busy tourists sights for a few hours and enjoy an activity that is rare to find. Will definitely be back again to see more sights with Off Road Experience!!

An amazing experience to enjoy nature away from the busy city and some less common places to see. The guides were extremely knowledgeable and friendly. We were both very comfortable with them and would definitely bring friends next time.

We had a fantastic tour with Yvonne and her crew. We had a staff trip and there were fourteen of us able to book this tour. The contact in advance was very pleasant and smooth. Yvonne offered her help several times. During the day itself we were late, but Yvonne and her colleagues waited quietly for us. They also made sure we were back in perfect time for our next activity. During the day we had enough to eat and drink and they explained everything about the environment and history and culture of Greece. It was an amazing day and we can definitely recommend it to others!

Decided to book this adventure last minute, had been raining and a bit miserable and cold weather we had a spare day left on our trip. Boy ! I am so glad I did the 4x4 adventure was awesome! I booked on Monday via Trip Advisor received a text the next morning confirming for Tuesday. Got a message from Yvonne, confirming pickup location the website says free pickup from Hotel, but we was staying in an AirB&B so I picked the nearest hotel to our location, but Yvonne picked us up from the AirB&B which was great and saved us 10 mins. The best thing is being able to drive an off roader through some crazy terrain and small streams, muddy paths, because it had been raining it was muddy so that added to the experience. The next best things was the beautiful and amazing views, we stopped for a quick bite at some mini waterfalls. Our Host Yvonne was so nice and welcoming, she explained everthing and gave us commentary on the locations and history lots of fascinating information I even learnt where the work OK came from Greek phrase "ola kala," which means all good. I would really recommend this adventure if you’ve got a spare 5 hours it was super fun and educational.

This off road experience was amazing! It was completely customized to what we wanted - where to stop, for how long, pictures, swimming and even driving was all based on what we wanted. This was fantastic for us especially on a rainy Sunday (when everything in Athens was closed). Loved every minute of this adventure!!

In July we completed the Mountain to the Sea experience. The mountains were lovely and the sea was secluded with very few people. It was perfect for a swim in the crystal clear waters. Was even able to work in a little sunbathing! The hosts were fabulous and willing to answer any questions. We had a good laugh or two about some of the plants that were similar to the ones that grow in Louisiana. Even the ride through town to the mountains were informative. It was a real treat to get away from the city and see some of the quieter areas. We would certainly do this again!
