Being able to see the best trails in Athens is a real treat, and Alessio makes the whole experience amazing. A guide who has around 20 years of living in the area and a lifetime of competitive MTB experience is more than you could ask for. Great trails, postcard views, and a seamless experience to hop on a bike while on your travels. Will for sure hit him up next time I’m in Athens.

I booked a mountain bike ride up the Ymittos Mountains with Alessio. I had a great time. Alessio provided a full suspension e-bike that was very capable on the trails. He coaches you on what is coming and prepares you for it. He has a great personality and is fun to ride with. He picked me up from the metro and took me to the trails. The trails themselves are full of tech, flow, drops, rolls and jumps. The three hours went fast.

Alessio is amazing, SUPER professional, responsive and helpful. Alessio went above and beyond. He gave us great trails and helped us avoid weather hazards and thanks to him we were successful in finding a bike rental. And all in a very short time. In short SUPERB!

I'm a beginner rider and I underestimated the Ymittos trails a bit, but Alessio was super patient and waited for me at each section giving me some useful tips along the way. He adjusted the route to my ability level and allowed me to push my boundaries while being safe the whole time. The trails have some amazing views of the whole city and a variety of terrain including rocks, roots, slabs and a couple of (optional) jumps. The e-bike was provided, with options to rent a helmet and protective gear, and Alessio drove me from our meeting spot at a metro station up to the mountain and back. All in all a nice experience. I wish I had more time in Athens to take some MTB lessons from Alessio, since he seems like a good teacher.

Alessio led me through some of the best trails Greece has to offer. Although I am advanced mountain biker, it was helpful to be shown some of the best trails and be informed of the upcoming features. I rented one of his ebikes which was better than expected and perfectly set up for me. The riding in Greece was rocky, challenging and a lot of fun. Reminded me of some places I have ridden in Quebec and B.C. If you are into mountain biking, you don’t want to miss this.

A had a fabulous morning with Alessio mountain biking Imittos. I'm an experienced mountain biker, and he took me on some fabulous routes that were exactly what I hope for. Alessio picked me up from my flat, on time, and gave me lots of great tips about Athens. Including the Greek-Irish network and bars :) Highly recommended!

Great way to spend 3 hours riding single track trails on an ebike with Alessio. He was the driving force behind the start of mountain biking on the Ymmitos and a great guide. The ebikes were heavy but allowed for more downhill riding for the timeframe. He picked me up from a stop on the blue metro line and it was easy to arrange the meeting. Fun varied trails with a good mix of difficulty.

From the first contact by email I knew this was going to be a great tour. Alessio is answering his emails responsively, he is an amazing guide, very knowledgeable, safety first with lots of opportunities for enjoyment. He knows the terrain very well and knows how to asses one's capabilities. I would highly recommend him and I cant wait to return to Athens to bike with him again- Thank you very much Alessio.

I had an awesome afternoon riding in Ymittos with Alessio. He was very professional, excellent local knowledge and an all round great guy. He provided me with an Enduro bike for the ride along with gloves, helmet and knee pads. The area has some challenging trails and a stunning view over Athens to the med. Would highly recommend.

This tour was completely outside my comfort zone (never done mountain biking before) and yet Alessio still managed to teach me in a way that was completely safe but pushed me. I left having seen the most incredible scenery, having thoroughly enjoyed his company and with some moments where I really felt like I was getting the hang of it. Alessio was super patient, he talked me through every stage in a way that really helped me to navigate it. I can’t recommend this tour highly enough, it’s an incredible way to see Athens.

I enjoyed a marvelous day with mountain biking in Athens. Alessio is a perfect guide and he showed me the coolest trails of the area.

Our family of 5 had an opportunity to ride with Alessio Toninelli on Mount Ymittos. We had a range of riders from the oldest with a life-long love of all things bike to our littlest at age 10. We were kitted out with sweet bikes (I loved the ride and feel of my size Med full suspension Mondraker on 27.5 wheels with a dropper post), helmets, and gloves. Climbing didn’t feel taxing (even if the kids had to be bribed with gelato for the last stretch 😉) and no one was too gassed for a full afternoon of touring Athens by foot even after the ride. We had beautiful scenery around every corner and enjoyed the company, conversation and guidance of Alessio. The trails were navigable with enough flow and technical terrain to prevent anyone from being bored and helped each rider feel proud of their adventure at the end of the day. What an awesome opportunity to enjoy a shared passion on a trip of a lifetime for our family and connect with fellow mountain bike enthusiasts so far from home. I am so grateful we had beautiful weather, Alessio prepared and had gear for the whole range of family members (mom, dad, 15 & 12 yo boys and 10 yo girl) to not only feel comfortable but really enjoy the day. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND - in fact I URGE you to get on a bike and on the trails to enjoy the local scene. Alessio was easy to communicate with, prompt in responses and had recommendations for local sights and food stops also - which is so helpful!!!! If we ever get a chance to be back in the neighborhood I would absolutely look up Ride Greece to participate in and enjoy their other tours!!

Alesia is an amazing guide! He will tailor the trip to your level, and is a darn good rider himself! He made this super easy too, even picked me up at my hotel. I rode on the Imottos trails, and was blown away by the views & difficulty. A great time was had!

Alessio makes each ride so fun! he knows the areas, how to understand your skills level and also coach you through a tough section as needed. A great guide who makes for a fun day out. I was so happy to find him as I love to mountain bike anywhere I travel too.
