The drive was absolutely breathtaking, with beautiful scenery and perfect weather making the day even more enjoyable. Having seen the movie 300, standing at Thermopylae and seeing the battlefield and Monument of Leonidas in person filled me with awe and a deep respect for the Spartans' courage. In Delphi, the meal was exceptional—delicious traditional flavors paired with a spectacular view of the valley and Mount Parnassus. Must do tour with a fabulous storyteller makes the day a memorable experience This was an amazing experience. Greece is rich in history. But what made this exceptional was our driver / guide Periklis who is the most knowledgeable person I’ve ever met. Throughout our drive he told us stories about the disputes and of course the Greek gods. What totally amazed us was his accuracy, the stories matched to a T what we heard at the Thermopylae museum which made the museum experience even better. Such a fascinating place of historic bravery. The scenic route was chocked full of spectacular views. Delphi was simply amazing. The museum has so much to offer. When you have a great storyteller like Periklis it makes a great tour exceptional. This is a must do tour.

We booked a tour with a private car and driver and got in addition to that a very nice and well connected guide, who did not only show us the best views of the thermophiles and Delphi, but also gave us a private tour in the museum at the thermophiles and had lunch in a very good Greek restaurant with an amazing view over the valley beneath Delphi. Ich war the Great Day and great memory memory with my one of my sons whom I was showing the Ancient Greece. Next time I come back to Athens with my youngest son, I will only book a tour with Dimopoulos Periklis!!!

My husband and two late-teenage daughters had a wonderful day trip from Athens, driven and expertly guided by Periklis in late September. Firstly, we visited Thermopylae where we saw the statue of Leonidas and went to the visitor centre. Periklis was a fount of useful information. He then drove us through the mountains to Delphi, which was fascinating (sensible shoes recommended!). Periklis then brought us to a great taverna nearby where we had a splendid lunch with a spectacular view. We stopped off in Arachova on the way back to Athens. All in all, a really great day out and Periklis is highly recommended both as a driver and a guide.
