The instructor, and other staff members, were super helpful. They explained everything carefully and were very friendly. This is a great experience for beginners, the instructor is patient and helps you adjust even when the experience is scary or challenging at first. The dive itself was also amazing, we saw all kind of fish and starfish. The pick up service was very convienent. I am overweight, but they had all the necessary equipment for me as well. Overall a great experience, and I would recommend it to anyone, but especially people who do this for the first time.

We had an amazing experience with the beginner scuba diving activity! As first-timer, I was a little nervous, but our instructor Danae made everything easy, safe, and super fun. We were amazed by the variety of sea life we encountered, including a cute little pufferfish. I highly recommend this activity!!

This was an excellent experience from start to finish! My instructor Dani was very experienced and very good at guiding me through. The location was stunning, with clear visibility to lots of different types of fish. There were lots of amazing pictures to remember the day, too. I thoroughly enjoyed and will definitely come back again! Really memorable day with great people. Highly recommend this trip 👌🏽

Me and my girlfriend had a truly phenomenal experience with Danae, who was so lovely and a brilliant teacher and instructor! She picked us up from our hotel and dropped us back, and took photos and videos throughout which she sent to us the same day and are also excellent. We were also lucky enough to see a turtle being released back into the sea! Cannot recommend enough, 10/10 experience! We also spoke with George thought the booking process who was also lovely and very easy to communicate with. Excellent all-round 😊🤿!

Great experience! My guide was very knowledgeable and helpful through the whole experience. The instructional course before getting into the water was informative, but not too much to handle, and you’re able to progress at your own pace once in the water.

Absolutely everything about this experience was perfect. The pickup at hotel was great, my instructor/driver was super fun and had tons of stories about Greece and mythology. She thought the beach was a bit busy so we drove to another spot, we got lucky and there was only ONE other person diving there! Incredible! She was extremely professional underwater and if she saw anything I missed she would tap me and point out cool creatures hidden in the rocks. I opted to take the additional tour with the same company down to Sounion after the dive to see the Temple of Poseidon and that was a great experience as well! The owners of the shop are super friendly, their mom was at the shop and she even had snacks for us for after the dive! Once we returned I chatted with George for a while and he gave me a few tips on places I should check out on my next stops. 100% I'd recommend Extreme Divers Athens, this was one of the best experiences I've had in my life and I'm looking forward to coming back!

I had the pleasure of working with Ellie, who was exceptional. She provided clear, step-by-step explanations and was a delight to converse with. Initially, I was anxious as I hadn't been swimming since I was 12, but Ellie's guidance completely alleviated my nervousness. Her expertise and demeanour were truly commendable. -wahe:)

We had a fantastic time for our first time scuba diving - our instructor was super patient with us while we got used to all the equipment and get comfortable before going deeper into the water and once we were in it was epic! Would absolutely go again and I’m so pleased our first experience of diving was in the ocean with so much to see! It was a pretty good experience actually diving and our guide Nick was good. But the scheduling, preparation, and communication leave something to be desired. We booked weeks in advance but weren’t told we had to do online pre-training until about 48 hours in advance. When we did them, they kept telling us they hadn’t received them even though it was clear we had completed it. When we arrived, we were picked up to then drive for 45 minutes to collect gear (which we provided information on sizing for in advance as well) and then drove another 45 minutes to the dive site. The site itself was nice and easy to get to with clear waters, although there weren’t really any fish or anything much to see. The most upsetting part was that we brought a waterproof camera but were advised that their GoPro would take better photos so they’d take theirs along and send us the photos. Nick, our dive guide, took several through the guide for us. I asked several times for the photos and never received them - they finally responded and said they looked but didn’t see our photos. This was a really special first time experience to share as a family and it’s so upsetting that they didn’t even bother to tell us that something happened. Overall, I’m glad we went but it could have been such a better experience in several key ways.

A very good first time diving experience. It's moved me to potentially making scuba diving a hobby. The water was crystal clear, and my instructor was very helpful, friendly, and informative. My one issue is that since this was a discover dive, my instructor was not able to take pictures underwater, since she had to keep her attention on me. The description in this booking can be a bit misleading, since it promises pictures. However it's such a small issue since I'll definitely be doing this again, and no picture could capture the beauty I saw down there anyway.

Evan was a very friendly instructor who made our first diving experience unique and unforgettable. He showed us the beauty of the life underwater and had a very authentic approach in making it a real fun excursion. Most importantly, he was very calm in the water and made sure we were doing okay at all times, which made our first-time experience safe and relaxed. We really appreciate how the trip felt neither rushed nor routine, as Evan seemed to have enough time to make sure we had a good time. His banoffee caramel ice cream recommendation to finish our excursion was the cherry on top of a wonderful morning by the sea :)

George was an excellent instructor and friend. He didn’t just make the experience great, he made it memorable. I suggest anyone who has an interest in scuba diving tries this because it will leave you speechless and wanting more.

We were in Athens this summer in August and we decided to try scuba diving for the first time. This was by far the highlight of our trip, especially since it was our first time attempting to scuba dive. Extreme divers tour did everything well, I cannot say enough about this tour, George our instructor and guide was brilliant: Both George and his brother did everything to make sure we were train properly and more important that we would experience a very cool adventure. I highly recommend Extreme divers to any one and I am planning to use them again next year once I go back to Athens.

My girlfriend and I booked the Discover Scuba Class, as we have both never been Scuba Diving before and wanted to try something new. The owner/instructor (George) was excellent! Very knowledgeable and friendly. We felt very safe under his supervision. George picked up/dropped us off from our hotel (at no extra cost), He brought snacks along to the dive site to enjoy after our dive. He locked our valuables in his shop on the way to the dive site. He brought his GoPro along to take photos, which he shares at no extra cost. To sum up, they really go the extra mile!

My mother is 74 years old and had never been diving before. George was extremely friendly and helpful and helped make it a wonderful experience for her. He is welcomed to visit us in Atlanta anytime

Extreme Diving was amazing! A family owned business, these guys were fantastic! From the pick up to the drop off! My son (15) had never been driving and I needed a refresher. I can’t say enough great things about these guys, can’t wait to return to Athens for another dive!

I'm on a roadtrip with my boyfriend and we ended up in Athens wanting to take the PADI certification. We found Extreme Divers on the internet and after reading the various reviews we decided to sign up here. From the first moment we had a super positive impression. Our instructor, Evan, was always available, explained everything in detail and made us do some really amazing dives! In addition, he also took photos and videos with GoPro which he immediately emailed to us. It was a fabulous experience. If you're in Athens and feel like diving, you should definitely go to Extreme Divers!

We spent a wonderful day doing something unprecedented for us. The children very friendly and helpful made us feel comfortable from the first moment and helped to enjoy the boat ride and then the diving! I strongly recommend them! We will prefer them once we decide to go for certification!

George was very patient in teaching me about a man who hadn't dived once. With his help I'm not so scared of diving! If you haven't dived, try this:) After diving I followed him on a half-day tour, and along the way he took me to very authentic ice cream and food, and told me a lot of local history and stories.
