Private 4x4 Wine Tour From Athens To Marathon Lake And A Winery

Yvonne was great! Wonderful knowledge - great driver! She showed us the beauty that is just outside Athens. The wine experience was so much fun!

Panos and Venatia (sorry if misspelled) took us out of the busy city of Athens and into the beautiful country side. Not only was it relaxing but they were also so accommodating and knowledgeable. They even brought us some snacks (sandwich with veggies from his own garden!) The winery museum was much bigger than I have ever seen and Irina (the wine sommelier) was able to tell us not only history of the company and wine in Greece but recommend great Greek wine bar in Athens. Overall great time and great people!! We liked so much we saw them again next day:)

Getting out of Athens and experiencing this tour is a must. Yvonne is amazing and shows you a side of Greece you can’t get without an off-road vehicle. Great scenery and you finish up with a wine tour and tasting that was also very fun

Our off-road experience was so much fun! Yvonne picked up my boyfriend and me at our Athens hotel and we headed out into the countryside. Soon we were bouncing along on rugged trails on the mountainside, among groves of olive, fig and pistachio trees, as well as vineyards. The scenery was stunning, and it was especially wonderful because there were no other people in sight for hours. It was as though we had the world to ourselves for a day. Our excursion included a visit to a lovely winery, Domaine Costa Lazaridi, and a private tour of Wine Museum. The museum is fascinating and contains hundreds of artifacts, and our guide was very informative. Our wine tour ended in a beautiful bar area, where we tasted several wines and enjoyed a scrumptious charcuterie. After enjoying our wines and snacks, we were back in Yvonne's vehicle for more adventures on the trails. We stopped at a high hilltop which overlooked beautiful Marathon Lake far below. As we stood there taking in the view, a rare August thunderstorm moved in. It was refreshing and beautiful! It made our ride down the mountainside even more of an adventure, as the pouring rain created rivulets everywhere. Yvonne is an excellent driver and navigated the rocky, winding, muddy trails like an expert. We had so much fun, and I highly recommend this tour to anyone who loves nature, wine and good company. Yvonne is the best!

A great day to enjoy Athens beyond the city, highly recommended. Picked up from the hotel drove through the outskirts of Athens to enjoy some lovely wine and tour of the winery. The best part was driving through the beautiful countryside, stunning out of the way places with great company. Pano and Yvonne have really created something special on roads less travelled with lovely food and wine..

It's excellent for those who wants something different besides archaeological sites and museums in Athens. I really enjoyed the wine tasting and beautiful scenery from the road trip.

I'm with my wife and her sister wonted to try some special in Athens, and ordered road of wine. It was the bast attraction in all our time in Greece. Yvonne took as from apartment we lived to nice wine museum with rich history, where we tried some special wines and after this give us amazing off road trip with beautiful panoramas and many adrenaline turns. Special thanks for Yvonne for interesting story about places we gone with many facts.

Had a wonderful day with Yvonne. She took me out of the center of Athens to drink some delicious wine, see some incredible views, and realize that there’s so much more to Greece than monuments and beaches. She was in touch with me from booking (door to door service) and responded very quickly whenever I had questions. Don’t hesitate to book an adventure with this group...very down to earth, kind, and actually care that they help you make great memories.

Perfect experience. Definitely recommended to someone that was to have a different experience. The personnel well all super friendly and they knew well how to guide you and offer you an unforgettable experience. I will do it again for sure it was one from the most fun and interesting things that I have ever done during my weekend.

My Dutch friends and I visited Athens in mid-June and we were looking for an opportunity to experience something different beyond the necessary visits in historic sites and museums. Thankfully, we stumbled upon the Off Road Experience website and booked the "Off road experience at the roads of wine". And it was fantastic!!! Panos and Yvonne are great and they even provided us with snacks and drinks, while driving us off road through a beautiiful green scenery. Hard to believe it is only a few kilometers from the busy city centre! The Marathon Dam and the surrounding nature are gorgeous and we really enjoyed our tour in the Wine Museum. In less than two hours, we learned about the wine making process, visited the wine cellars and also tasted some really tasty wine. Thank you guys for such an amazing time!!

An experience worth living at least once in a lifetime. We will definitely choose other routes. Yvonni, a wonderful, versatile, gifted person, who loves what she does and transmits it. My wife gave me the experience. We drove on a very nice route in the mountain and the experience of wine making was excellent, we learned a lot about the production of wine and we tried nice varieties.

It is really worth living this experience.We had a great time both on the tour of the wine museum, trying wines and learning about their production as well as on the off-road driving.We also had the opportunity to drive the 4x4 vehicle which made the experience even more exciting.
