Off Road Experience From The Mountain To The Sea

A++++ That's the rating of the experience we had. Panos was punctual, communicated well and allowed me to have a most wonderful day. He has great knowledge of the area, the roads, the vehicle. He skillful and very careful. This experience was way more than I ever expected and I will definitely do it again. Yes, I will also recommend this tour and Panos himself.

We booked this as a last minute excursion and let me tell you I'm SOOOOOO glad we did. If you want someone to take you through the outskirts of Greece and see an adventure you WILL NEVER FORGET then do this. We went on a dirt road in the middle of the mountain and saw goat herders, old old churches, and views OUT OF THIS WORLD! Then we proceeded down the mountain and ended up at the ocean. We stayed 9 days in Greece, did 11 personal tours with just us and the driver and this "last minute, not sure what to expect" tour was OUR ABSOLUTE FAVORITE tour . If you're on the fence... just book it. Oh, and don't be afraid to ask questions about him, his family, his careers. He is so interesting and such a sweet guy. I can't for the life of me remember his name but it's just him and the woman who own the company. I'm sure the woman is fantastic too but I'm here to tell you he was the best tour guide. My son (13) and husband agree.

Great off-road experience near Athens with Yvonne. The off-road part of the tour was awesome. The beach was so-so, not too special and pretty crowded. We would have preferred to skip the beach and spend more time off-roading.

The trip took us out of the crowded city. Out into the surrounding hills of Athens. It was very nice to see the nature and get too off-road through it. Then we had a stop at a small beach for a swim which was very nice.

It was a great way to see the country side of Greece. We saw where olives and pistachio were grows. Yvonne was our guide she was very knowledgeable about the land and she was so amazing.

Such an amazing tour today! An off-road experience from the Mountains of Marathon to the Sea! Yvonne is an amazing driver and shared wonderful history with us about Greece. Her Grand Vitara is a Beastly machine and made easy work of our off-road excursion. We went to the top of the mountain above Marathon, a stop for an amazing lunch, then traveled to the sea and had some ice cream watching the waves. We all know that private tours are the best. This off-road experience in Greece is a World Class, 5 Star operation. We highly recommend this company for a unique experience in Greece!

We had an AMAZING day!! I booked this trip last minute because I was not sure what to do but wanted something different, out of the city. I’m glad that I did!! My family thoroughly enjoyed the “off road” experience, the breathtaking sights of the mountains, and the beauty of the beach. Our guide Yvonne was wonderful. She made us feel like family while showing us around and providing a great experience!!! She is a very competent off road driver and terrific tour guide!!

Great 4x4 trip made better by our knowledgeable and friendly guides Panis and Venicia. This trip is actually a private trip and very well worth the cost. Some very nice off-roading and great to see outside of Athens. Excellent communication before the trip too.

Our guide was truly knowledgeable about the area and the history of Athens and the surrounding areas, and the places that she took us were incredibly beautiful. Topping it off with a visit to the seaside at the end for a cool refreshing dip, truly an experience not to be missed

Can’t rate this highly enough. We had a fanatic experience away from the crowds. Yvonne, our guide was fun and engaging. This trip takes in the beauty of the mountains as you wind your way down to the sea. Would do this again!!

Off roading was fun. However, the best part was spending time with Yvonne (our host/guide). She is an Athens native. What a treasure. We talked about growing up in Greece, our kids/families, starting her business, Greek history, etc. It was a wonderful experience.

The experience was amazing! From start to finish, my lovely guide, Yvonne was so attentive and down to earth. It made the whole experience feel a lot more personal, and I loved every minute of it! I will definitely be doing another off-road experience with them again, when I’m next in the beautiful city of Athens💚 I highly recommend this to anyone visiting Athens, if you want a truly remarkable and unique experience, this is definitely it!

Panos was a very friendly (even provided a lunch snack with homegrown vegetables) and knowledgeable driver and guide, who picked us up from our accommodation and brought us to a beautiful mountainside, lake and Marathon beach. You can expect great views, cool waters and a sandy beach, and your own off road experience. Would definitely recommend!

This trip is a little slower paced than most of them! We had a terrific and very polite driver who did an amazing job giving us views from the mountain top to the lake to the sea! A little off roaring doesn’t hurt anyone!

Excellent views of the mountains and the sea, surrounding Marathon. Our guide was so charming and shared wonderful stories of the Greek history and culture. Highly recommend for any age and ability.

Great experience and worth the price! Tour leader picked us right up from our AirBnB rental and showed us some amazing secluded spots outside of Athens that you for sure aren't going to see during any other tours. Probably my favourite tour we took during the weeks we stayed in Athens. A great complement to the city tours so you get a chance to see the beautiful countryside and some amazing views as well. The tour leader was super nice and even offered us some delicious oranges they had grown themselves.

This is the best tour in Athens. If you want a unique experience of driving through the mountains, viewing some incredible scenery and landscapes, while learning some cool fact, this is the tour for you. I was in Athens for an extended period and wanted something outside of museums and ruins, this tour was perfect for that. Panos was an excellent guide and driver and had great conversation

This tour was an unforgettable experience! Panos was an incredible guide with such great passion for the mountains and nature. The spots he brought me were just breathtaking and was such a nice getaway from the busy Athens city to connect and unwind with the amazing landscapes of Greece. Panos was beyond accommodating and flexible showing me areas that he thought would leave the greatest impressions on me and he did such an amazing job. If you want to do any off-roading tour on your trip to Athens make sure it’s with Panos!

Yvonne and Panos were the best hosts! We had an amazing time going through the mountains. The views were amazing and we saw so many fruit trees and even donkeys and mountain goats. I cant even describe how amazing the entire experience was words do not do it justice! The cool mountain swimming hole was the best surprise coming from 100 degree in Athens. We never felt rushed and enjoyed Yvonnes' homemade sandwiches and the water til our hearts were content. We enjoyed all the special "secret" places they had to show and felt like family! This was definately the highlight of our whole vacation and we cannot wait to visit them again for another adventure.!!!

My husband and I had a fabulous afternoon - luscious countryside, completely off the beaten track, and great company. It’s just something a bit different - highly recommend.

Our family of five had a great day offroading with Yvonne and Panagiotis(really nice people). They took us trough a part of Greece which I doubt many of the locals have ever even seen. Skillfully navigating offroad trails, washes and riverbeds from Athens to the mountains and on to the sea for a nice refreshing swim on a non-tourist beach. Great thrills and some stops at wonderful vistas along the way too. This is a great option if you want to take a break from city to experience something different and adventurous! Warning: Will make you want to buy a Jeep!

We traveled from Australia and wanted to do a tour with a difference. I then got in contact with Yvonne who promptly made arrangements to pick us up from our hotel the following morning. Lovely views and good company. We drove through the mountains, and got to see lots of cool areas. Yvonne knew a lot about the local wildlife. The beach we stopped at was peaceful and beautiful. Lots of great views!

I never expected there would be such magical places so close to the center of Athens! Bravo to the kids, Panagiotis and Yvoni! They even prepared snacks with vegetables from their garden!! Thank you!!

We went up with Panagiotis to Dervenochoria in a Jeep Wrangler through roads that we never imagined a car could pass! In the middle of the route we hiked to St. Marina on the rock, as we had asked! The route was magical! The children have a lot of experience and a lot of appetite! We highly recommend it!

It is a great experience to climb up stony paths to one of the ancient Acropolises surrounding Athens. The SUV goes everywhere, that's clear! We will then begin the descent to the sea with surprise stops along the way. Finally, feet in the water, you will have umbrella, water and sandwich to enjoy the afternoon. The day is rich, the views beautiful and our open and friendly guide allowed us to discover the surroundings of the city. Don't hesitate!

A superb experience to discover Greece differently. This private and guided tour was perfect. Enjoy the fresh mountain air and enjoy a swim at the end of the route. Yvonne explains perfectly the places visited and the history that haunts the sites. The driver Panagiotis is adorable and very professional. I recommend to anyone who wants to have an experience away from unfounded tourist sites.

Excursion sympathique, accueil chaleureux, le personnel de l’activité est adorable. Les 4x4 utilisés sont top! Les endroits visités sont très beaux. Pour les remarques à tenir compte : nous nous attendions à 5h de balade, or à cause des incendies et des routes bloquées, nous n’avons fait que 3h environ... Nous aurions apprécié davantage que notre balade se prolonge l’après-midi (trouver un autre itinéraire, et non nous dire qu’on ne peut pas continuer l’apres-midi), car nous avons conduit une petite partie de la matinée, l’apres-midi, ça été pause à la plage et retour à l’hôtel. Un peu dommage... Pour les futurs qui seraient tentés par l'expérience : ne pas hésiter à demander de conduire, sinon ça ne sera qu’une balade en étant passager.

I just loved the day! The view at the top of the mountain, the small swim in the waterfall and the gande swimming in the beautiful beach!

The staff was very experienced and friendly as we did not feel a moment of insecurity! The route was also better than we imagined!
