National Gardens Segway Tour

My son and I took this tour last year and it was great. Highly recommend.

Demie was a wonderful guide. The tour was informative and loads of fun! We highly recommend this activity.

Segways were good quality and the guide looked after us very well, making sure we were safe. Changing of the guards was a spectacle and the guide took us to the best spot to see it! Good tour all and all, the only detractor was the crowds of tourists and the heat! Would have loved to do it earlier than 10am to avoid both! Would certainly recommend though, great experience and my son of course loved it.

Our guides spoke excellent English, give us great instructions on how to ride the Segways, and was very knowledgeable about the area. He took us to lots of interesting places, allowing us to stop and take pictures and telling us fun facts. My kids, ages 12 and 14, really enjoyed riding the Segways and said it was one of the highlights of our trip. I would highly recommend this tour!

Brilliant tour! Saw lots of sites, very knowledgeable tour guide. Excellent pace of the tour and lots of stops for photos and information.

Do NOT book at the moment. The business is NOT operating currently. We booked a tour yesterday, paid over the Internet, the whole process was still fully functioning, but when we arrived at the site, it was closed and we heard from the shop owner next door that apparently the business has not been operating since Corona started in March. It was very disappointing since we were travelling with teenagers who were very much looking forward to the activity. We are also hoping that we will not end up paying for the booking - here we are still waiting for confirmation from the credit card company. We really do understand how hard it is for businesses at the moment but we do not understand why not take the site down in the meantime so people at least don't book and plan this activity.

Brilliant few hours led by Reina on our last few hours at Athens saw the original Olympic stadium and also the lovely national gardens. I was very nervous and shaky to begin with but in the end wanted it to go longer it was a tour highlight!

Was a lot of fun and we saw so much in a few hours! Only comment would be if the tour guide could speak a little louder but she was extremely knowledgeable and nice!

Love this tour. Our two kids aged 13 and 10 were on Segway the first time but had no problem. Our guide Annie was fantastic and since we happened to be the only group, she adjusted the route to fit our needs. Great fun. Highly recommend this!

We had a delightful tour, led by Vikki, with 3 teenage granddaughters- great fun! Vikki made sure that we all knew how to control our segways, was knowledgeable about the landmarks on our route, and flexible when we wanted to change the timing and sites to visit. Her English is fluent and her manner was charming and engaging. We had a ball!

Our can didn't show up, so we called the tour company. Fortunately we were within walking distance so they sent the guide over to lead us in. Beautiful and Educational tour that really helped us make the most of our second day in Athens.

I booked a 4pm National Gardens Segway Tour through a separate travel agency as a combo packaged. Had some issue with the voucher, but Rania was patience and helped resolved the matter. Started the tour about 20 mins late, but the tour lasted the full 2 hour as promised, even though it is beyond the usual business closing time of 6pm. She is an excellent Segway trainer too by explaining the functionality and tips on how to control the Segway effectively and safely. Rania is friendly, courteous and very knowledgeable of the Athens' history and current events. She would point out the potential road hazards to avoid and be more careful traversing. Given the timing of the tour, it was an amazing experience to be able to see the garden and city streets both in daylight and nighttime setting. Bravo to Rania! I would recommend Athens Segway Tours.

I’m a huge fan of seeing a new city by Segway, so naturally we sought this tour out for our first visit to Athens. We decided to do the National Gardens version of it, and very glad that we did. The gardens are made for Segways, very easy to navigate around. Plus we got to see a number of other highlights including the Presidents House, the parliament and the changing of the guard. Our guide was excellent - she lead us expertly through everything and gave an engaging explanation of what was going on. Whole thing went for just over 3 hours. Thank you for an excellent morning.

<p>They were really helpful and patient for first time riders. Great experience and highly recommend doing the first day you are in Athens. Quick way to see a lot of sites and get your bearings.</p>

<p>No one told us the tour starts at the Segway store. A really nice Greek lady called the # provided and walked us to the location. Once we arrived the group had left. Fabio who was about to get off work volenteered to take us on a private tour. We had so much fun seeing Athens by Segway.Thanks Fabio</p>

<p>Fantastic time. This was the first time we have ever done the Segways. At the start, they teach you how to use them, I must admit, I didn't think my wife was going to be able to do it, but the instructor / tour guide took her out one more time and the we were on our way, by the end of the tour, my wife wanted to buy one. It was so good, cruising around Athens, going to the markets, past the Acropolis, in the park and many more places. We are now planing to do this everywhere we travel, have a go.</p>

<p>Did the Segway Tour in Athens. Eric was our guide he was fantastic My daughter had difficulty with the Segway Eric waspatient and kind and assisted her so she could stay on the Tour. Excellent !!!</p>

<p>1st ever try at a Segway tour, and to say we were pleased is an understatement. The guide was informative, the learning curve for a Segway very simple and the family enjoyed. <p>Natalia gave us a great tour. Very informative just enough history for me, not so much that my teens eyes glazed over. Great experience wonderful to get around so fast and see so much in two hours highly recommend!!</p>

<p>This was a wonderful tour! We had SO much fun on the Segways and felt well trained and safe. Our guide Alex? was charming and funny and showed us some really neat sights around town. We had toured Athens the day before with a driver and worried it may be a repeat of sights, but it wasn't! He took us places a driver couldn't go. Highly recommended, especially if you have teens along...they LOVED it!</p>

<p>Due to hiccups with transport I missed this tour :- was to be after lunch trip but slept in a little long, Hop On Hop Off bus late leaving the cruise terminal, I got lost in Plaka and missed tour by about 10 mins. Next one would have meant missing bus back to terminal so cut my losses and went over to next HOHO bus route only to find routes shutdown due to road cycle event and no idea when back to normal :-</p> <p>Anyway made up for missed Segway in Athens by doing one in Barcelona fortnight later, rank amateur but an absolute blast!!!! So next time in Athens - get up early and don't miss it! If anything like Barcelona Ill give this a potential 5 just in anticipation :-</p>

<p>Great way to see the city of Athens when you don't have much time. Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and for each site we visited she shared the history. We only had one day in Athens and between this tour and a visit to the Acropolis we felt we had the best Athens experience.</p>

<p>Oh my god I loved this! I had never been on a Segway before but they made it so easy! The tour ended up just being my daughter and I and it was great. Our guide answered all of our questions and showed us the historical and modern sites of Athens.</p>

<p>Fantastic. Highly recommend. Our guide was fabulous and so informative. Was a bit nervous about riding the Segway as I hadn't done it before but after 10 minhutes was hooting about everywhere. Really enjoyable way to get about and saves your legs if you've been already doing alot of walking on your holiday.</p>

<p>Our guide was very informative and friendly and we stopped off at quite a few spots. The only issue was that we weren't able to enter any of the most popular spots, even if we paid for the tickets ourselves, which made the trip fun, but a tad useless if you wanted to check things out up close.</p>

<p>Easy to learn! Good fun! Not ideal if your pregnant as my wife found out on arrival.</p>

<p>What an enjoyable and fun way to see Athens! Having never used a Segway before, the tour started with a training session on its operation. It is a little bit more difficult than one would think, but after a few minutes we had it down and were ready to go. Our tour guide, whose name escapes me she was originally from Finland was wonderful and very helpful and patient during our training. We went around the perimeter of the Acropolis with a few stops along the way for photos. We also went through lively market towards the end and we enjoyed the entire experience. Much more fun than walking!!</p>

<p>A fun way to see parts of Athens. Didn't really take us up close to the Parthenon, could isn't see it from a far distance so we had to reserve extra time to do that ourselves.</p>

<p>This tour was a great way to see the highlights of Athens in a few hours. You're able to cover a lot of ground very quickly on segways, much faster than doing a walking tour.</p>

<p>This tour was amazing. Not to mention very fun riding the Segways. Guides give you a quick training session and are knowlagable about the sites. You see all the major sites in Athens minus going up the Acropolis that would be interesting on Segway!.</p>

<p>I highly recommend this tour. Vera was an amazing tour guide. We took the Acropolis tour and she was very informative and funny. It was a great way to see a lot of ruins and get an idea of where we wanted to go later on foot!</p>

<p>Good tour, but spent a bit too much time in the park, and not enough seeing the sights. I took this tour and the Acropolis segway tour. Don't get me wrong, I recommend this tour, but if only have time for one, take the Acropolis segway tour instead of this one.</p>

<p>We loved everything about our tour. It was the perfect way to start our 2 day visit to Athens. Costas, our guide, was very knowledgeable about the monuments and history of the city. We covered a lot of area on our Segway and there was no way we would have seen as much in the time we had on shore from our cruise. The equipment was well maintained and safe. Helmets were provided. I'd recommend Segway for anyone who thinks they are physically demanding. They're easy to operate and handle. <br/> It was an awesome way to spend a beautiful day in Athens Greece!</p>

<p>Good tour. Takes sometime to adjust to use the Segway but the instructors are very knowledgable and patient. I expected to get a bit more historical information about the sites.</p>
