Nafplio Day Tour From Athens

Wonderful tour in lovely Nafplio in the company of an excellent tour guide Lazzaro. Not to be missed.

Dmitris was a great driver who took us to Nafplio from Athens. Though a lengthy drive each way, it is scenic and a nice break away from Athens. He was very informative as we discussed everything from Greek Mythology to present day Greek economic issues. Nafplio itself is a lively small town with quaint shops, many open air cafes along a pretty harborside....a picture perfect day. We went in early October and have had sunny pleasant weather with a cool breeze, highly recommend!

Our private drive was very pontual and explain whole history about Athens and nafplio . The only think I would change was not stop at the canal and the castle which did not get my attention Despite that nafplio is a stunning town , wish stay there longer and enjoy the beach

Our guide was Lazaros and he was excellent! Nafplio is a very beautiful place, and well worth the visit.

This was such a wonderful way to get a different perspective of Greece. We enjoy our tour guide very much. It such a beautiful drive seeing the orange, & olive orchards. The mountains were beautiful as well. The town was charming, clean and we had a wonderful time. Consider this tour after being in Athens!!

This tour was a highlight of our trip to Greece! Everything was smooth and well-organized from start to finish. Our guide was knowledgeable and engaging, and the drive was scenic and relaxing. Nafplio was absolutely stunning—full of charm, history, and incredible views. We loved exploring the fortress, walking the picturesque streets, and enjoying some local bites by the sea. There was a great balance of guided stops and free time. If you’re in Athens and want to see more of Greece’s beauty, this day trip is a must. Highly recommend

Our driver was a great guy, on time and pleasant. Sadly, we were disappointed as there was no information, historical background or bit of helpful information shared. His role was evidently that of a driver and no more. It would have been cheaper to hire a taxi.

This is a great trip to do from Athens if you want to get away to somewhere completely different, but only have part of a day. Our family of 3 thoroughly enjoyed every part. Palamidi Castle has amazing views. Corinth Canal is neat, but you only need to spend a few minutes there. Nafplio is nice and has amazing food. The timing is just right for everything. Our driver was nice and very knowledgeable about everything on the tour and a few other places we passed. I would highly recommend the tour.

Theo was our driver. So knowledgeable and kind. And such a good driver! It was a great day and the little Venice inspired town was a treasure.

We had a lovely day visiting Nafplion, the Fortress of Palamidi and the canal in Corinth. The scenery was spectacular and the old town was very vibrant and charming. Dimitrius was an excellent driver. He was very engaging and attentive, and wanted to ensure we enjoyed our day. What a great day we had!

We were picked up on time by our guide, Lazarus. He was polite, provided us with a lot of information. He was attentive to our needs and desires. We had a good time with him

We made numerous changes to their itinerary, and they were more than happy to do so. We added the Athens Monastery (UNESCO SITE)and skipped Corinth, since our 10 day guided tour later in the week was going to Corinth.

Had a very pleasant experience with Petros as my driver. He made a stop at the remarkable Corinth Canal, drove me to Palamidi castle where the views are spectacular and dropped me off in Nafplio city center to shop and eat lunch. Nafplio is a beautiful coastal town to explore.

Great drive and driver. Got to see allot of countryside. Had flexibility to see and do what we wanted including wine tasting.

Petros was a great guide! The agency was more than happy to accommodate a different departure time for us and Petros even helped us find a great spot to eat dinner in Nafplio! We didn’t feel rushed at all and was able to enjoy everything we wanted to!

Peter was a wonderful tour guide. He was friendly, was very easy to converse with, was willing to explain things as we traveled and his English is very good. Peter was helpful, prompt and courteous throughout the day. The sites were also memorable but it was Peter that made the trip most memorable for Patrice and Alan.
