Modern Athens City Segway Tour

It was fantastic! Best Segway trip we have done, our guide went above and beyond to show us extra things and make sure we had the best time!!

Alex was great. It was just 3 of us so a little more intimate. We went all over. We had done some tours earlier in the week that brought us to some of the sites so Alex took us around showing us sites we hadn’t seen. We always had water, stopped to get some shade as he explained the site. We were always safe even with all the people around. We really enjoyed our 2 hr tour around Athens. Highly recommend

Booked this last last minute really glad we did. We recieved comprehensive training before setting off, the Segways were very easy to drive and the instructions from Demie were so easy to follow. The Changing of the Guards at the Presidential Palace was truly worth watching.

I was hesitant to book the tour after spending a few days in Athens already but i decided to book the experience and i have absolutely no regrets! Menelaus was the best tour guide I could have had. He was knowledgable, patient and a great photographer! I really enjoyed the history behind all the sites. 2 thumbs up 😊

Great way to see lots of Athens and hear about the history. Our guide was very knowledgeable and catered the tour to what we wanted to see or hadn't already.

We had a brilliant time! Great fun and a super way to whizz round the city. Would definitely recommend this tour, especially during hot weather.

We had Zina as our tour guide for this tour and she was really knowledgeable about Everything we saw, including the changing of the guard! We saw things we didn’t even know were here and had some excellent views while we were on the way. All the other staff were super friendly and helpful too.

Saw sights we wouldn't otherwise have seen as we didn't know about them. Knowledgeable guide, great way to get around. Did the ancient tour first and then this one the next day. Highly recommend it

My family had a great time. Two of us had never rode a Segway and were a bit nervous and Stelios did a great job getting everyone acclimated. Before you knew you were “one with the Segway”. While on the tour, he was very engaging with a great sense of humor. Learned so much about Athens and all the sites we saw. It was so much fun that we extended the tour by an hour. Highly recommend this company and especially Stelios.

Our guide Anastasia was great. A quick refresher on using the Segway as we had toured on them before. As it was just the two of us Anastasia asked what we wanted to see and was happy to personalise the tour to suite us. Her history knowledge was good and we enjoyed seeing her Athens. We booked the Modern Athens tour but where very happy with the changes.

it was an excellent tour. On time, and the stops were usedul, expecially those which overlook the city. Panos, the guide, was a great guy too.

So fun! A nice way to see the sights on a hot day. We covered lots of ground and loved that we didn’t have to walk. The Segways were easy to ride. The whole family loved it!

Our family of four (2 adults, a 13 yo and 11 yo) had a fab tour with Anastasia. She was just great! Taught us all how to control the segways before setting off and provided great information and knowledgeable commentary along the way. I would highly recommend this tour as you cover a lot of ground which would have been much harder in the heat and was so much fun.

Great way to get around to a lot cools sights that are spread out. It would have taken too much time to walk to all of these places. Panos was a good tour guide and of course Segways are just fun to ride!

Absolutely fantastic tour covering so many sights around Athens. I’d never been on a Segway before but the guide was great giving advice to make it easy getting off and on. The tour was just under 2 hours and included seeing the changing of the guards at the presidential mansion. Lots of photo opportunities and a small group (4of us) so it was a great experience.

We chose the Segway tour as something a bit different and was not disappointed! Starting at 11am we were lucky to be the only ones on the tour. Having never ridden a Segway before, our fantastic guide Vana took 15 minutes showing us the ropes and giving us some practise time. After familiarising ourselves sufficiently with the Segway we were off! Into the bustling central area of Athens and Vana quickly showed us her extensive knowledge of the area and the history. For the next two hours we visited numerous sights of historical and modern importance including Temple of Zeus, National Gardens, the Olympic Stadium and Parliament. Vana continued to impress us with her knowledge throughout as well as being fun and bubbly. After we’d completed a whole loop of these fantastic sights it was sadly time to return to the office and our tour ended. Overall this was a fanatic way to see the sights of Athens and the city centre area - would definitely recommend! Few points of note: - Don’t worry if you haven’t used a Segway before - neither me or my partner had but the staff were excellent teachers - Go earlier in the day when it’s not yet reached highest temperature and foot traffic is a bit lower - Wear a hat and sunglasses - it’s a lot of time exposed to the sun - ENJOY!!

This tour was the best way to see the city of Athens, and we had an amazing time!! The tour was informative, and also great fun with it being on the segways. Our tour guides were really kind, and ensured we had a great time, and even recommended food places to try during our stay in Athens. The changing of the guards was definitely a highlight, and having key parts of it pointed out to us definitely added to the experience. We got loads of amazing photos that we will enjoy looking back on! I would definitely go again, and would recommend to anyone visiting Athens!

The Segway's were easy to use and so fun to ride! We would've never seen as much as we did if we had to walk as it's a large area to cover.. and I love walking.. Chris was an amazing tour guide, we had a lot of fun with her and learnt so many interesting facts about our surrounds. Would highly recommend this tour :)

We have a tradition that we get on Segways on the Sunday of a City weekend break. We booked Konstantinos at very short notice, who was a very knowledgeable guide, with a great sense of humour and fun. The trip was the perfect length and covered a large part of Athens that we would have otherwise missed on our short break. Highly recommended for showing your beautiful city to visitors. (all Covid requirements and sanitation were carried out without any difficulties)

It was a great experience consisting of Segway Tour for 2 Hours, Vist to the Acropolis for 2 hours on foot and Visit to the Muesum for 1.5 hours. It was a guided tour had a lovely experience. Thank You Athens Segway Tours for making it so wonderful

Our tour guide Gina was also our Segway coach. She was very patient with us while we learned the basics. She also did a great job of making sure everyone was safe and together and also having fun. If you want to see Athens in a fun, interactive way you can’t beat this tour. Using the Segway to get around was much more enjoyable than the typical walking tour we usually prefer. When you are in Athens in the summer, you will thank me for choosing to tour the city this way. The tour was also very informative and there were lots of opportunities to take memorable pictures. Gina even knew the special spots for the pictures to turn out great. Riding around town on the Segway is a special way to spend an afternoon. The ice cold water at the beginning and the end was a nice touch. 5 stars!

We had an amazing morning tour with the knowledgeable and friendly Vana as our private guide. My wife and I were traveling with our 19 & 15 year old sons, and going by Segway made seeing the sites of Athens both memorable and fun. Athens City Segway tours is very fortunate to have an ambassador like Vana!

It was wonderful, the highlight of our Athens trip... after a short introduction we started and although we had no experience with Segways, we quickly felt safe through our attentive guide. Our tour guide gave an exciting account of the sights and led us to places we would not have discovered on our own. Although we could see so much, there was always time for a photo top and our wishes were taken into account. There were even tips for things to do in the next few days. We would do the tour again anytime!

Tour (modern) in very nice segway. Good humour and French speaking guide. Guide very attentive to safety. Allows to even several sites in 2 hours. Segway easy to master quickly and great fun once taken in hand.
