First off— make sure of the time pickups from each of the different hotels and be ready at least 10 minutes before that. We didn’t know they listed the different hotel pickup times at the end of the ticket. We thought that they calculated your pickup time time when you picked your hotel. 0745 is when the cruise leaves the port. We missed our bus and had to take a taxi to the port. We got there and they waited for us, but it was stressful! The cruise was fantastic! So much fun at each port! At Hydra we rode the mini horses around the city which was so fun! Talk them down to not more than 20 Euros per person. We had a fantastic boat attendant—Spiros—he took care of us and made sure we had seats and water to drink and he told us the best things to do on the islands. Very helpful! He told us about a bakery on Hydra that makes their own Loukounis out of honey and almonds—so good! It’s back in the middle of the town, probably 4 streets back. On Poros the pistachio ice cream was so good! On Aegina we took the panoramic tour and was very informative. The stops at the monastery was amazing and the end stop at the fish market and dinner there, (included in the price) was so fun! We got to try their pistachio products that Aegina is known for—so good! The entertainment on the boat is so fun—participate and dance! The lunch was good—a buffet with lots of yummy things to try! It was a very good day! A must to do in Athens!

Nice feeling when you’re on cruise everyone is helpful and energetic highly appreciated their hospitality
A wonderful way to experience three Greek islands in one day. The cruise to Hydra, Poros and Aegina was very enjoyable, with each island offering a completely different atmosphere. Hydra was especially charming, while Poros and Aegina each had their own character and beautiful scenery. It was a full day, but well worth it and a great introduction to the Saronic Islands. I would happily recommend this experience to anyone visiting Athens and wanting to see more of Greece beyond the city.Three Beautiful Greek Islands in One Memorable Day
The cruise itself was fine, but the communication and customer service before and after the cruise was frustrating, and impacted my enjoyment of the experience. Less than 24 hours before pickup, I got a text that the departure time was not 7:45 as advertised but nearly a full hour earlier at 6:50. I understand now that 7:45 is the departure time of the ship, but that should have been clearer on Viator (additionally, the total trip time noted on Viator should be 2 hours longer to include pickup and dropoff; travel time has been included and explicit on every other tour I’ve been on). Nevertheless the next morning I got up an hour earlier than planned but unfortunately got turned around (completely my fault) and texted to apologize that I would be 4 mins late; I arrived at 6:54 (literally) but the bus had left. I’ve waited more than 10 mins on multiple other Viator tours for guests who didn’t even bother to contact anyone; all I got in response to my text was a bizarrely rude, dismissive phone call from someone who scolded me for being 4 mins late and said someone else would text with details on where to go - but then no one texted for nearly 30 mins. If I had waited for that text, I would have missed the boat, but luckily I had decided to just take a cab to the marina and figure it out. There were no instructions to meet my group. I never found them. The cruise experience itself was okay, but booking it through this group at Viator (I’ve had great experiences with Viator before; this was my first and only bad Viator experience) was unfortunately a mistake; uniquely poor communication before the trip and genuinely poor customer service when a small issue came up.
We had a wonderful time going through these various islands and cities in Athens, especially with saying hello to the donkeys of Hydra! We would love to come back next year.
Life-Time Memories. It was way more than Experience to me and my family. A great day to remember
Great trip, 10/10. Lots of great locations. Good trip on the ship. Good food and great guides.
Seating on board was awkward and not organized. If the staff had any thought they would have helped seat all the guest comfortably rather than letting it be a free for all. Some passengers are using chairs for their bags while others are roaming for a chair or sitting in the stairs.
Spyros was a gem. The best service all day and kept us informed and taken care of. Kudos to the whole crew! Hydra was breathtaking, the views and bakery were to die for, followed by a quick stop in Poros with many charming shops and boutique hotels. We finished in Aegina and did the swimming excursion. If you visit Greece, do this experience!!! Thank you from Canada 🇨🇦
It was a wonderful experience, and I highly recommend it! ❤️❤️❤️ The boat was beautiful, the food was absolutely delicious and generously portioned. The cruise manager and the entire crew were exceptional, making the trip enjoyable from start to finish. A special thanks to Katherina, Georgina, Gabriel, and Spiros for their kindness and professionalism. I would definitely do this cruise again! ✨
We enjoyed the day it was wonderful❤️
Great experience, coming back for the 2nd time. Excellent service and very attentive crew. Perfect service, nice weather! Great to be back and enjoy the ship and hospitality once again!
Mrs. Rio and Mr. Spiro made possible a great experience. They went above and beyond in their dedication and respect to everyone aboard. This was an unforgettable opportunity. Highly recommended.
All staff were good special thanks to Julia Virginia and Georgia
Fantastic tour, convenient transfer logistics, spectacular boat, great food, Julia and Georgia are excellent guides!
Excellent Day Cruise to Hydra, Poros & Aegina We had a wonderful experience on the ship. We met Renia after boarding and she told us about upgrading to the VIP Cabin Suite. This changed the trip so much because of everything included. A private bathroom to shower after swimming, a place to take a cool, quiet nap and wonderful couches to hang out on. Plus this included a chef prepared lunch which was out of this world, wonderful drinks from our bartender and all the tours on each island. Renia was an incredible host and guide. She was so fun and knew so much about everything we were going to see. She really made the day trip an enjoyable experience. This excursion was our most favorite activity while in Athens. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and memorable way to experience the Saronic Islands in a single day. Do the upgrade, you won't be sorry!!! Thank you to Renia and the entire team for a fantastic day!! Brook, Blase, Justin, Macreena, and Curtis June 2026
It was a great day touring the 3 islands, seeing more of the beauty of Greece. Very relaxing, the food was great and the staff was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable!!! Georgina was great and really on top of things. It is a great value for the money and a great way to see a bit more of the beauty of Greece.
Enjoyed a relaxing three island cruise, wish we had more time at stops. The food was very good, served buffet-style. The best part was the kind staff, Spiros in particular. He took care of us with beverages and getting on and off the ship (I have mobility issues with steps). The entertainment was fun and we really enjoyed it - Hydra was our favorite.
Good experience and very beatifull islands. Little overpriced for what you get but the exprience itself good.
I was a solo female traveller from Australia and had an amazing day. The crew are absolutely amazing and the efficiency of the team - like no other. The cruise ran like a well oiled engine (a shame Greeces trains didn’t!). A shout out to the customer service team, which rebooked me for the very next day as my train broke down and I missed the boat the previous day. I also did not lose my deposit which meant a lot, and they were entitled to it. An extra special shout out to the tour coordinator Georgia! Top 10 service (and I was not VIP). She looked after me with my tours. Exceptionally knowledgeable, in all aspects of history mythology and geography. I found a soul sister! Best value for money all round. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Day Cruise to Hydra, Poros & Aegina We had a wonderful experience on the VIP One Day Cruise from Athens to Hydra, Poros, and Aegina. From the moment we boarded, everything was well organized, comfortable, and professional. The VIP Cabin Suite was worth it, providing a relaxing and comfortable space throughout the day. The itinerary was excellent, giving us enough time to enjoy each island's unique character. Hydra's beautiful harbor, Poros' charm, and Aegina's history and scenery. A special thank you to our guide, Renia, who was outstanding. She was friendly, knowledgeable, attentive, and made sure everyone felt welcome and informed throughout the journey. Her professionalism and positive attitude added greatly to our overall experience. The crew was courteous, the vessel was clean and well maintained, and the entire day ran smoothly. This cruise was one of the highlights of our visit to Greece, and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and memorable way to experience the Saronic Islands in a single day. Thank you to Renia and the entire team for a fantastic day!! Andrew and Martha Collins
We used a private tour guide that book Athens Day Cruise. I would NOT recommend this establishment unless you want to be packed on a ship for 7 hours. The stops were short and we spend the majority of the time cruising. We were also refused the VIP lounge despite paying for the tickets. Overall experience was extremely negative.
Wow what a great day and all thanks to Renia. If you want a fantastic day speak to Renia and let her work her magic. Great boat, great people and great locations to visit. The cultural tour off the boat was amazing and swimming in Hydra a great memory
Hydra, Poros & Aegina Cruise from Athens | Official Operator Kallithea Would be okay if more reasonably priced - time spent on the boat is excessive 1038225481 I came into the 3 island tour with my disabled mother who is ambulant and can work short distances. Staff did try their best to be helpful. Most of the staff are lovely but in all honesty I do think the drinks are a bit expensive. I feel they could do a discount drinks package. They charge $4.50 for Pepsi max that can you buy cold from a shop for 88 cents. Even tea is over 3 euros My issue is (yes we booked through l turbopass so got a fairly generous discount but the journey between islands takes 9 hours including coach transfers just so you can spend 3 hours across the islands . We didn't make it to Poros due to weather conditions and safety which I understand (it's November we took our chances). The pick up is included and is close to accomodation but for the price you pay they could afford to fork out on taxis rather than a cramped bus. I'd love to visit the individual islands again but economically I feel it's better to take a ferry. I feel ripped off and was disappointed . Hydra was great to snorkel , Aegina was picturesque. Yes they do try to break up the journey with Greek dancing and a dj but at this point I was exhausted and just couldn't engage. Ended up spending half the boat trip asleep. It feels like there's a lack of transparency in terms of add ons at every opportunity arc when you board they try to take a photo (I refused - I'm autistic and hate having photos taken) . You also have to pay extra €€ for tours (we knew about this in advance.) But I feel it’s a lot of money for something that isn’t worth it. The food was stunning and plenty of ice for drinks but seriously consider is it worth it ? I'd say no. Also the coach driver dropping me off at end of excursion nearly hit me whilst I walked across the road when the green man was on - cherry on top really.
It was an ok kind of ride. Nothing great. The ship was not comfortable nor luxurious. There was more people in the ship and it looked cramped with little moving ave
Great time. Staff helpful and friendly.
Everything was well organized and comfortable. The islands are beautiful, and we especially enjoyed the Temple of Aphaia.
This was a great way to explore multiple islands in one day. The only downside was the length of time it took to get between each island. The food on board also wasn’t that great however, the lunch that was provided with the ticket was spectacular. There was also entertainment on the ride back to the mainland, which was very enjoyable. Be prepared to be asked to pay for additional walking tours on certain islands. I opted out and still very much enjoyed myself and was able to explore independently.
Never again Avoid the Athens Day Cruise company. They promise a lot and deliver little. The boat was overcrowded; we took the trip around the 3 islands with 4 people in a space meant for 2. For the buffet lunch, we had to wait in line for a very long time to get our food outdoors (it was a cold, windy day and threatening rain). All the food was cold. I asked for it to be heated up, and no one on the team cared about the problem. Too expensive for a ferry service between islands
We had an amazing experience on the three-island cruise, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip to Greece. The entire day was very well organized from start to finish. The departure from Piraeus was smooth, and the staff onboard were friendly, helpful, and always attentive. The boat itself was comfortable, clean, and had plenty of space to relax and enjoy the views. Each island had its own unique charm. Hydra was absolutely stunning, with no cars allowed, beautiful stone houses, and a peaceful atmosphere that made it feel like stepping back in time. Poros was more lively and colorful, with lovely waterfront cafes and a great vibe for walking around and soaking in the scenery. Aegina was a perfect mix of culture and relaxation, and we especially enjoyed exploring the local markets and trying the famous pistachios. The time allocated on each island was just right—enough to explore without feeling rushed. The views during the sailing between islands were breathtaking, especially with the clear blue water and the Greek coastline in the background. Overall, this cruise is highly recommended for anyone visiting Athens who wants to experience multiple islands in one day. It’s a perfect combination of relaxation, sightseeing, and authentic Greek atmosphere.
Lovely mix of islands a good taste and definitely will return to some of the islands for longer. The boat was great fun and staff very helpful. We skipped the food as we wanted to try something on the islands themselves and on the last island of Aegina the pistachios are delicious 😋
Rena was absolutely amazing! When she found out this trip was to celebrate my graduation, she went above and beyond by upgrading us to a private suite. It was such a thoughtful gesture and made the experience even more special. She made sure everything went smoothly from start to finish and was incredibly kind and attentive the entire time. Her warmth and dedication truly stood out, and our trip would not have been the same without her. Thank you, Rena, for helping make such an important celebration unforgettable!
I could write an essay about all the details which made this cruise great. But simply its an incredible day out and your missing out if you don't do it. We've done it twice already and we'll be back!
nice to say that you were at three islands in just a day. the appropriate amount of time allotted at each island. I don't like writing negative reviews, but please, please change the main seating area on upper deck with white wicker chairs to chairs where people can sit back and lounge a little. those hard chairs for three hours, upright to Hydra. could feel movement of boat on those chairs, so went down stairs to nice comfortable cushy chairs and was good. great organization and pick up.Thank you. Oh and great musician downstairs
They gave me the wrong time to be back at the boat and I was left behind on Hydra. just make sure you triple check what time you need to be back cuz the lady saying the time didn’t speak English.
TL;DR -I enjoy long days and exploring but this trip was unnecessarily long due to the slow boat (pro tip: take the fast ferry!) and the completely useless stop on the island of Poros. Good: the trip is well organized. We took a taxi to the Marina, quickly located the boat and easily boarded. Staff was friendly and helpful. Plenty of food and drink options if you wanted. Clear communication about when to return to the boat. 2 of the islands were gorgeous and easy to navigate. OK: seating was fine. Plenty of room but given the 3 hour trip to the first island the seats became a little uncomfortable but the ability to walk around inside and outside made it tolerable. Bad: the buffet lunch was an abomination. Our goal was to eat on one of the islands - and you should also make this your goal because the buffet rivaled my High school cafeteria lunches. Room temp Cole slaw, the strangest gray/rubbery chicken I’ve seen in a while, bland chick pea salad and some dry hot pasta dish. The disappointment was compounded because the food in Greece is spectacular. I also felt a slight bit of a constant upsell: no I don’t want the photos you took when we boarded, no I don’t want to shop at the “boutique” at the back of the main level despite the “special prices” etc. Terrible: at most you spend 25 minutes on Poros. Granted, I’m December there isn’t a whole lot going on but by the time you wait in line to get off the boat, well you have about 18 minutes. Basically, you can walk to the Poros sign a few hundred yards from the boat and take a picture, then walk back. I assume the marketing department thinks a “3 island cruise” sounds more appealing but the second stop in Poros just adds time and the boat ride is already long and slow enough.
Happy for the hotel pickup and sea transport, But the onboard experience was meh. The buffet was very mediocre for Greece: chicken legs, fish and rice. The entertainment was largely a DJ. The seating inside was plastic wicker style chairs and outside, the woven chairs were tattered and worn. I only recommend this ferry trip for the transportation. However, we saw other high speed nicer ferries.
We had an amazing trip. The weather was beautiful and everything was well organized and on time. Food was perfect and staff were super friendly.
Massive cruise ship for 500 people that somehow still did not have enough seating for everyone. Also the first floor smelled like gasoline while outside there were smokers everywhere. The lunch was cold and mediocre and they try and upsell you on packages and excursions at least 5 times.
DO NOT BOOK THIS CRUISE!!!!! It is a complete waste of your day. Poor advisement, poor management, poor customer service. It advised water activities yet your not able to do it. They charge you for the boat ride only when you get on you start paying for everything. They charge for food, drinks and to site seeing. Lunch is included but mind you the tour is almost 12 hours long and lunch is serve in the morning. The lunch is cold so there's that they are not very accomading. However if you want to sail for money then go ahead I would recommend skipping the excursion and doing it yourself but you've been warned.
Never even managed the Tour.... Tour guide turned up much earlier than viator stated so now I'm being given the runaround by viator trying to get a refund.... wish me luck
Tour was a long time on the boat and not a lot of time on each island. All was fine until it was time to return to our hotel. We were told by the tour guide that they would drop us off two blocks from our hotel. That two blocks was actually 8 blocks long up hill in the dark on crooked sidewalks. I’m 80 years old and that was a terrible way to end our day.
Firstly if you are not an on time person you may need to rethink doing this trip. Our coach arrived to our pick up location about 15 minutes early and I’m sure that if we hadn’t been waiting the bus would’ve left without us. Next, if you are looking for a small, intimate experience then this is not for you. The boat is quite large and crowded. While there is enough space for everyone, the outside decks are very busy. Food and drinks are available on board at reasonable prices, and the crew are very friendly and polite. The included lunch is buffet style and we were disappointed with the food. The 3 islands visited are beautiful but due to timing you really only get a taste of each. Most of the day is spent on the boat. Would I do this trip again? No Would I recommend to others? Probably not.
Tour was good, pick up from the hotel was great. Going back to the hotel was not ideal nor helpful. Added 1 hour to the journey when I paid an additional £140 for the service. I would have been better booking a private taxi to go straight there.
It was well organised we were picked up and taken to the boat and then picked up again and taken back to our stop after the cruise. The tour lady was wonderful, very friendly, and explained everything to us All the staff on the cruise were helpful and friendly. The tours they offered were very good. The buffet lunch was delicious.
DECEIVING ADVERTISEMENT! Decent cruise at an unqualified luxury price-point. If the experience was priced correctly, I would have given 3-4 stars. Cons: - Boat was very old and run-down, nothing like the videos - Inside was heavily stained and dirty - Captain did not leave marina on time, just to wait for VIP passengers that were running late - Some disabled or senior passengers were having trouble maneuvering the boat or the stops, and caused late departure from each island - The pricing of a-la-carte items on board was ridiculously high... (2 sodas for 9 euros is wild) - Announcements were TOO LOUD, and ran every 5 minutes to beg people to upgrade to VIP or to pay extra to book excursions. It was so excessive and ruined the peace and quiet that is expected for being on a boat. - There was absolutely no dancing at all on this boat. The advertisements displayed classy people having fun and dancing to local music. None of this ever happened. It was mostly families that were a little slow and kept to themselves. - There was never a point where we could go swimming or any time to jump off the boat into deep water. The ads showing this was for a different swimming-specific tour, which is deceiving and confusing. Pros: - air conditioning worked well, and was constantly running - the lunch buffet was good - the islands were beautiful. Poros had nice little shops and just enough time to have a small breakfast at a cafe with sleeping cats, and walk it off by seeing the sights and old cannons. Hydra we did not have enough time because of the lateness of others, only 45 minutes to see the island with no cars, I was disappointed to not have been able to explore longer. Aegina we spent the whole time on the beach, a 5 minute walk left from the port. We rented beach chairs and an umbrella for only 10 euros, and swam for the whole 1 hr 30 mins. - the trip back was very smooth, even at high speed, there was no major rocking or motion sickness. Overall, I had a satisfactory time on this day cruise, but it was not worth the price. The experience was honestly boring, low class, and felt desperate from the company to make money using bare-minimum materials. TIP: If you're a group of young fun classy people, you can just rent your own yacht at the same exact price to see the same islands.
The team were prompt at collecting us from our hotel and transferring to the port on the bus.On arrival the boat was overcrowded to the point of no seats being available and everyone jammed into areas, there were no life jackets to be seen anywhere... People were spilled out, on the deck, inside the cabin on the seats and even standing, they tried to push upgrading to first class at 110 euros each.. The team were friendly but pushy with buying tours at every pot that cost more euros. Lunch was delicious but you had to line up for at least 30 minutes and fight your way to a seat. It was a long day, starting at 7am and by the time we got back to our hotel it was 9pm. I wouldn't recommend this tour, especially during peak season....Videos were playing throughout the boat of customers enjoying themselves on lounges in the sun on the deck and sipping cocktails. It wasn't like that at all. In fact I couldn't wait to get off the boat
This day cruise was amazing. Very well organised the whole day. Also included pick up from A for Athens Hotel, lunch and on board entertainment. We did a walking tour on the 1st island which was amazing, and the second island we entertained ourselves. The third island we did the swimming tour and had the most amazing host. Her name was Angela. She was funny, had extensive knowledge and made everything easy for us. Best host we have ever had on a cruise. Angela had a great personality and spoke perfect English which helped so much. Definitely recommend this cruise, and they thought of everything. No dramas and made it easy. Perfect for a holiday :) thanks again we will be back from Australia.
Terrible booking. We booked a 3-island cruise. They cancelled the second island without explanation or justification after we arrived at the first island. The lunch was very mediocre with limited options. The staff was rude and they were always trying to upsell with photos, additional bookings, their drinks, and, their “VIP” options. They changed, without notice, our pickup time, and luckily we were there early, or we would have missed the booking. The boat was overcrowded and not enough chairs for everyone to sit. Stay away from this booking company, as it is a ripoff and you won’t get your money’s worth
Loved the exposure to different islands. Be prepared for an early start with a 3+ hour cruise to first port. After that it is about an hour on each island and an hour cruise between. It was fun and lots of souvenir shopping. Had great grilled pork belly in Hydra- everyone liked that island best - although the beach in Aegina was only a 5 min walk from the boat and that was refreshing. Plus could get to Apollo’s temple there
