After exploring the museum, visit the beautiful mountain village of Arachova, situated on the hills of the Parnassus Mountains. Wander through its charming streets, take in the traditional stone architecture and stunning views, savor a relaxed lunch at a local taverna.
Delphi was about two and a half hours from central Athens but our guide Nikos kept us well entertained with the history of the areas we were passing through. Travelling in November, Delphi was very quiet so we could clearly see everything. It is stunning with some features being beautifully preserved. With the help of Nikos, it was easy to imagine what it looked like in its heyday.
Archeological site was well worth the visit. The town experience after was a little underwhelming. Would recommend just for Delphi itself

Yota was amazing guide. She gave us perfect amount of information on our way to side and during visit of the site and museum. We felt this this was one of the few tours where we got sufficient time to see the site without being rushed. The tour size is big for the price but we didn't felt that impacted the quality.

It was a nice tour and the guide was just great. She was very friendly and knowledgeable! :) I would have preferred more time at delphi and less at some kind of shop... it takes some time to enjoy the historic site and one hour is not enough at all! I saw everything and Iam happy about it, but would've enjoyed more time at the site to enjoy it properly... If you have i.e. knee problems (can't walk so much), want to see the main things and informative input, this will be perfect for you!

We had a great time visiting Delphi! The archeological site is interesting to learn about, and the views of the mountains from the site are amazing. Our tour guide gave a great overview of the site and the attached museum. We also really enjoyed our lunch at the taverna in town!
Book admission tickets in advance. Trying to do so on line on coach was difficult and, in the end, unsuccessful
We did this Delphi tour back to back with the Mycenae/Epidaurus/Nafplion tour also offered by Keytours. This one doesn’t have as much itinerary as the Mycenae tour but we felt the Mycenae one was better organized despite having more sites to visit. This Delphi one had too many stops for shopping in which the extra valuable time should have been used to explore the historical sites more. The guide Dimitri is knowledgeable and works hard, but we felt that he could have explained some info better than trying to throw everything into the punch all at once. Our driver for this tour isn’t that great, he is always late with nowhere to be seen at the meeting point and time and our group including elderly people had to stand around to wait for him to bring over the bus (luckily it wasn’t a hot day). To top it off, somehow he decided to turn up the heat on the bus in the afternoon ride and it was like 30 degree Celsius in the bus for 2 hours until we finally stopped and some guests complained about the heat did he turn it off. The Delphi site itself and the museum was amazing and worth seeing. The town of Arachova where we stopped for lunch was beautiful. Overall we had a pleasant experience and glad we went on this tour.

Yota & Stamatis were fabulous. Yota provided such fabulous and detailed explanations but it wasn’t too overwhelming. Whilst Stamatis got us there safely and was ready to take us to stops and places efficiently.

We loved the great overview of Greek history on the bus - made the drive go quickly. The tour of Delphi ruins and museum was excellent. We loved stopping in the village on the way back but it would have been nice if the guide offered some ideas of what to visit and where we could grab some good quick food. It’s a really beautiful town but we only had an hour there and some direction about best things to see would have been really nice. There seemed to only be sit down restaurants and there wasn’t time to both see a bit of the village and get food
The guide offered a wholesome tone and shared interesting observations. She also made the history quite easy to follow.
Very good tour of Delphi - my second time at a site that retains a magical fascination and a fabulous story. Three main negatives - firstly, we went to the excellent museum and again the guide was very informative. However, we were then led straight to the coach with no chance to visit the museum shop for souvenirs by which to remember the trip. A big disappointment as Delphi is a big deal and people travel there from far and wide. Secondly, the guide overpromoted a particular restaurant in the picturesque Arachova and then took us to a store where many items looked pretty poor quality and limited in range. The museum shop would have been much more appropriate. Finally, the guide was very knowledgeable on history and mythology, but could have spoken and repeated much less on the coach when discussing logistics and other related matters. My party was so tired that we had to switch off. That said, pit stops were very welcome! Overall, a very good tour of a brilliant site steeped in history with a well-informed guide. Delphi is worth a visit! But some basic negatives that would've improved the experience.

During the bus ride there you get a wealth of information, so it's best to start this tour properly rested. There weren't too many ppl at the archeological side during october so everything was easy to see and take pictures of with a little patience. If you need more information, you can always use the audio guide to complement the tour and there's some free time to explore the site itself, although it's tight. The restaurant for lunch was fine it was tasty but you don't have much time to explore (if any) if you pick the ticket with lunch in Arachova and the final souvenir-shop carries a bit of everything but even then, time is planned tightly. This is an attraction best for ppl that still have good mobility as the ascent is rocky and uneven and the steps sometimes very tall.
Great experience, wonderful guide beautiful views and good coffee stops and break wish we had more time in Arachova after lunch to explore but everything else was great. Wish there were more main entree options at the lunch. Guide was very polite and well informed. Overall good pace for tour!
