Continue on to the Royal Palace of Athens that hosts the Parliament since 1934 and watch the famous changing of the presidential guards and the monument of the Unknown Soldier. As soon as the ceremony finishes you will continue on to visit 3 of the most beautiful buildings Athens has to offer. The University of Athens, the Athenian Academy and the National Library,
The Panathenaic Olympic Stadium will be the first stop of the panoramic tour. Also known as the "Kallimarmaron Stadium", it the Olympic stadium where the first modern Olympic Games of 1896 took place. Short stop for photos and back round information from your guide. If you wish to feel like an athlete just let us know and we will arrange the entrance tickets for you.
If time is enough don't forget to ask our guide to stop you over the traditional neighborhood of Plaka. Great private tour - got there before the crowds & were able to navigate the Acropolis easily without having to wait for anyone else. Nicolai (hope that's the correct spelling!) was the perfect guide - very knowledgeable - and our driver was able to fit thru the narrowest streets to get to our next destination. We enjoyed everything from the Acropolis to the Panathenaic Stadium to lunch at a little restaurant in Plaka. Definitely worth the price!
Our tour was great. Our tour guide was wonderful and really explained everything to us. My only complaint is I bought tickets for the acropolis , senior citizens tickets on line. I couldn’t use them because I was from USA! They didn’t have that on the website when I purchased the tickets. Our day was just wonderful anyway

Athina showed us all the sights and everything about the history of the city and the places we visited. Her expertise in archeology definitely showed! Tour was great. Nick our guide was amazing. Funny entertaining but very knowledgeable. It was a very hot day, but anytime he had to explain things he tried to mame sure we were in a shady spot.

Thomas and Demy were phenomenal! Thomas, our driver, was very informative about the history of Athens and the current government. Demy had us go to all the best spots and when we didn’t want to trek up with 20000 other people to the Parthenon, she recommended we go to the Agora (both Roman and ancient). AMAZING!!! Absolutely recommend this to anyone who wants the overlay of Athens without spending the entire day!!! Well worth it!
We only had one day in Athens and this double tour was great. We had a historian lead us in the city center, including all of the major sites. . Then we drove south along the coast and it was just wonderful. Excellent communication skills. Very nice tour leaders. It could not have been better.!!

You need to double check the pricing for this tour. This was a half-day tour for two people and I was charged $1072. When we finished the Athens part, the driver said we were entitled to go south to some sites that would take another four hours and we had no interest in that. I think the charge of $1072 was for Athens plus the trip south which we never signed up for and so I feel grossly overcharged. I'm trying to reach them to discuss a partial refund, but you know how that'll go.
Great tour! We were picked up at the Port of Piraeus after a cruise, with the tour guide waiting with a sign to greet us. We immediately went to see the Acropolis and spent almost two hours there. Our tour guide was very knowledgable and made sure we had lots of breaks in the shade as we climbed the steps and viewed the Parthenon and other buildings. After the Acropolis stop, bottled water was provided back at the van and appreciated after the long walk in the hot weather. We left that area and then stopped for other photo opportunities as we were driven around Athens and then finally dropped off at our hotel.
It is indeed a private tour with tour guide and driver. They will pick you up at an agreed meeting point and drop you back there if you like.

This tour was amazing. The tour guide was very knowledgeable, provided great information, and also had a photo book on hand which was really nice when explaining the sites. We visited the Olympic stadium, Presidential Palace, changing of the guards, Old University and Libarary, before heading to Acropolis and Parthenon. We spent about two hours touring the Acropolis and Parthenon. The driver was also very careful and made us feel safe. Highly recommend.
Lydia, was like an encyclopedia. The knowledge she had was very informative. Very detailed, very patient, allowed me the time I needed to take pictures and ask questions. Theo, our driver, did a great job maneuvering through the traffic in the city.

Very well paced tour to visit key sites in the Athens historical district including the Parthenon and Olympic stadium.
Great way to see key sites in Greece. Tour operators were very knowledgeable and friendly. Parthenon/Acropolis took over an hour, maybe almost 1h 30 mins of the tour. The rest was seeing from air conditioned vehicle (very welcomed after Parthenon!) and making some stops along the way. Walked around for about 10-15 mins in Plaka/Monasteraki area. Super cute walking area w lots of shops and restaurants. Overall was a great way to see key things and figure out where we’d like to explore more. Glad we did it on our first day in Athens.
We were picked up on time and drove immediately to the acropolis and our guide Panos was very informative explaining the entire site and showing us pictures of how the structures would hav looked. Our guide, George then took us to other sites around Athens and told us of the history. A great base of information to explore some spots further.
We had Adam pick us up promptly on time and drive us safely through the chaotic streets of Athens. Our tour guide Happy along for the ride was incredibly informative and clearly knew her history. I highly recommend this tour and the young adult children enjoyed themselves as well.

We were picked up on time at the hotel and were escorted to the Acropolis and Parthenon. Vicky took us on our tour there and learned a lot of history. We were taken back to the car and transported via Constolino(sp) and Debbie to the Changing of the Guards, Olympic Stadium, Poseidon temple overlooking the Aegean Sea. Heard many myths and history lessons. A very enjoyable day!! Highly recommend
This was a great tour and the tour guide was excellent! It was so good to be able to walk around the Acropolis Hill and have her tell us about the history and everything connected to what we were seeing. I am so glad we did this tour and we added on the Temple of Poseidon extension at the end. Which meant we got to see it at sunset! It was amazing!
We had a great time exploring the Acropolis with our guide, and then we had arranged for the extension to go see the temple of Poseidon as well, the timing worked out great to be able to see the sunset while we were there. It was a long, full day and the acropolis was amazing!!

We did the half day tour of the Acropolis and the Placca area with Peggie, our tour guide, and Alexander our driver. Peggie is much more than a tour guide. She’s an archaeologist and history buff. She was very knowledgeable and explained so much during our time with her. We would not hesitate to recommend this company for your Athens visit.
We enjoyed the "Half Day City Tour with Skip the Line Tickets to the Acropolis". We were quite happy with this tour. I would definitely recommend this trip as a first activity in Athens, as it was a great overview of the city and provided great insight into what is available to do and see while visiting Athens, or perfect if you only have a day before heading out to the and island. Our tour guide was Athena and she was lovely. Informative, kind and patient. Her accent was charming and her English was very good. She had many recommendations for further activities including best places to eat or shop. The driver was also excellent and never missed a meeting spot. The van was actually luxurious, and easy to enter and exit. The Acropolis was beautiful and interesting, and the cold bottle of water provided after all those steps was appreciated. Seeing the Changing of the Guards was a nice bonus and the short "city walk" led through markets and additional antiquities. The "Whisper" ear piece was a great help to hear all the information. All in all an excellent, well operated tour.

This tour was amazing and very well organized. Teddy was not only an awesome driver in those busy Athen's streets but a great tour guide for the Temple of Poseidon portion. He was engaging, passionate about his job and we had great conversation with him during the drive. Efi handled the half day Athens Tour. She was so sweet and knowledgeable and offered to take our pictures. Teddy and Efi are a dynamic duo who made our day in Athens. We highly recommend this tour.
The driver was excellent and friendly. The guide was informative but we had to pick her up she wasn’t at our vehicle. We were taken to the Acropolis which was amazing. She was friendly and accommodating during our tour, but when finished with Acropolis she never took us to the museum or the Plaka stroll that was part of the advertised itinerary. We were driven to the changing of the guard and shown sites from the vehicle. We were dropped off an hour and a half early.

We had a wonderful experience. Anna our guide was knowledgeable and guided us around the large crowds at the Acropolis. Provided great historical color. Adam our driver could not have been nicer even taking us to his favorite local restaurant away from tourists traps and had the best meal cooked by Nama herself.
Exactly what we were looking for. Private transportation, knowledgeable guides, convenient and hassle free. It was the perfect first day in Athens.
We feel that this tour was, frankly, a rip off and should not be provided to customers for the following reasons: . “ The air conditioned vehicle “ turned out to be the same minibus we took for a different, earlier tour. The seats were uncomfortable and we expected a private car to be provided for the amount of money charged. Our complaint to the management elicited a response that this is what they provide, take it or leave it. . The tour guide was not in the vehicle when we were collected from the pickup point, so that the “ tailor made city tour “ that we wished and paid for could not be made or discussed with the guide. We could only see what she decided to show us. . The promised “ Acropolis and Parthenon skip the line entrance tickets “ were not provided and it took a lot of protesting by us for the guide to accept that we had paid for such an arrangement. To her credit, she managed to take us separately from the long queue directly to the top of Acropolis. . We could not stop and see for long the “ changing of the guard “ ceremony, nor the ancient stadium or other sights as the driver was afraid of getting a parking fine . We were rushed due to this reason and the fact that the guide had to go back to another tour group after being dropped midway of our tour. My wife had an earnest desire to see the Museum, which she was unable to see as the guide was not there at the start so we could fit this into our so called tailor made tour. . We could have taken a similar small group tour at a fraction of the A$1143.94 that we have paid for this inadequate tour and we do not wish for your future clients to be ripped off similarly. .In closing, we must say that our guide ( Virginia) was very knowledgeable, hard working and Polite.
It was a great excursion. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and experienced. We appreciated everything she and the driver did to make our experience so memorable.
