Not appropriate for children, too long. Skip the dolmas. They only added to the time and our group was ready to eat much earlier than we did. In fact, all but 4 of us left before dessert.

Itinerary
Cooking Class & Dinner with Acropolis View - Discover Greece’s culture through its delicious food. The best way to do so is by graduating from a hands-on cooking class. During this small group tour, you’ll learn how to cook traditional Greek dishes with a small group of fellow food lovers. Along the way, with the guidance of your experienced instructor, you’ll become familiar with the ingredients and the techniques that are the foundation of Greek cooking. The dinner typically includes the preparation of 3 to 4 starters, salad, a main dish and a dessert. Menus vary according to season as well as the fresh products and meat available at the local market. At the end of the lesson you will enjoy the dishes with a majestic view of the Acropolis.

Learned to make a number of traditional Greek dishes. The process was a little slow and dinner went long. But it was enjoyable and would book it again.
Byron was amazing! Highly recommend this tour. Some historical context to local cuisine and host was able to get the entire group involved throughout
It was wonderful! We learned how to make several Greek dishes that I had hoped to learn. It was a small group and very hands fun. Recipes were shared during the class.
Really nice cooking class, seated with wine in a comfortable atmosphere
Amazing experience with Irini, Marina and Alexia. Food was fantastic and recipes easy to make at home. So much fun!
We had an amazing time! Our chef taught us how to make 5 different greek dishes. The activity was engaging and we got recipes of each dish to bring home. Some reviews mention you do not cook your food. That is somewhat true. When you prepare the dishes that need to go into the oven (meat/pastries), the staff at the restaurant take it downstairs to cook. The recipes we received at the end detail how to cook each dish, so it did not feel like I lost out on any experience.
Small group of five shared preparing Greek dinner with beautiful views of the Acropolis. Excellent outside eating area of this restaurant/ hotel to enjoy our finished dinner. Recommend doing this in the evening.
The instructor was terrific. Lots of laughs but by the time we ate the lamb was cold and there was not enough pieces for each person at the table. Yet we all made one. I was really looking forward to the Lamb but was disappointed
It was a very fun cooking class. Amalia was kind and personable! Love the Greek food recipes. Venue was festive right underneath the Acropolis!
The cooking lesson was enjoyable, informative and delicious! The chef/teacher was a delight. It ran a bit long and we never received dessert but still enjoyable with plenty to eat.
Wonderful experience. Great way to meet other travelers. Cooking instructor was very knowledgeable and made experience a lot of fun.
Very fun and beautiful view from our space. Byron, our chef, was great!!! Lots of food to eat at the end!
The cooking lesson was a lot of fun and hosted by Amalia who gave us a great background to the origins of the recipes and how to cook Greek food. The location of the cooking class is convenient and a lovely outdoor setting to enjoy the food once it is cooked. I would highly recommend the class to anyone who would like to prep and eat some of the popular Greek foods.
Absolutely a wonderful experience. Vicky was such a good instructor and so welcoming! Her English was perfect and she helped us understand so many details about Greek food and preparation.
This was a fun activity to do while in Athens. I would recommend this cooking class to anyone visiting Athens.
This was a great experience for our family (7 people from 12 - 65y/o). Byron was great with lots of info and made everything easy for us. If you like to cook (or eat), this is a great experience.
The location and the view were the star of the show! Couldn’t have asked for a better setting. The class was engaging for the entire family.
Excellent! The food was delicious and fun to make. Byron was an excellent instructor, so friendly and knowledge. And the view is amazing.
This cooking class was so much fun! Don't be fooled: there are no ovens or stoves; you're, at best, learning to prep the dishes. The knives are horrible (the tip had broken off mine), and the provided tools are minimal. That said, the dishes we prepared were tasty absent the entree, and the experience was a blast!
Excellent, relaxing time spent with other travelers learning some food culture of the area. Vicki, our instructor did an excellent job managing our group making everyone feel involved in the experience Thank you
Byron was an amazing chef/teacher and was so friendly, knew tons about Greek cooking, and was patient with my daughter who is 7yrs old. I loved this class, highly recommend it. The traditional Greek dishes we made were delicious. Amazing view and location too!
Vikki was such an incredible teacher and had great insight on Greek Culture and daily life. We made so much food, even with five people we couldn't finish it all.
Personal, fun, educational, easy, comfortable setting. Easy to find, accommodating to allergies. Would recommend
The instructor was friendly and made it fun. We prepared 4 dishes and it turned out great. She explained the recipes and how it has been prepared over the years.
A great informative cooking class making all our favorites! We cannot believe we could now cook and the class did further empower our cooking skills and food prep!
Lucy was a great host for our class! We had a fantastic time and really felt that the cooking experience goes way past just following a recipe. Great location as well - awesome view of the Acropolis while prepping the meal and eating it!
Very informative and fun!! We learned some great techniques that we will use at home. The view was pretty nice as well!
Small group greek cooking lesson was fun and delicious. We were in an upstairs restaurant at the foot of the Parthenon had some wine and made a meal. Our instructor was great and had stories to tell. She spoke English so that was great too.
We had a lovely afternoon. With a group off 6 we prepared a nice dinner. We prepared a delicious diner and had nice conversations with our fellow chefs. ???? The host, Vicky, was friendly and entertaining.
Great class and interactions. Instructions and information was well explained. Professional and engaging instructor. Very knowledgeable. Would highly recommend
It was great. Very fun and delicious. We learned a lot about Greece and cooking. Without a doubt a highlight of our trip.
The class led by Chef Niki was excellent. Everything explained well and lots of foodie information. Unfortunately the service following the class by the restaurant left much to be desired and the hot food was cold by the time delivered. This is not meant to be critical of the class itself
Excellent class. Very genuine and at home style. The food was exceptionally fresh and we made 5 dishes. We also liked the good book with recipes at the end of the class. Lucy was great.
This class was at a disadvantage after we took the most amazing class in Naxos. There is little hands-on cooking; we did a bit of chopping and then some class participants got to mix items (with their hands). The food was ok and the meal was not on the rooftop. The biggest benefit is you can purchase glasses of wine during the class to make it more bearable.
Amelia was energetic and fun and had excellent insight into the kitchen and culture of Greek families. Our group was lively and she went with the flow beautifully! It was a very special experience we would highly recommend.
Lots of fun! Lucy did a great job sharing traditional Greek recipes while the group laughed and laughed. Highly recommended!
I had already filled out a survey- yesterday… Amalia was our cooking instructor. She was so gracious to help us make reservations for a restaurant- however no one in our group wrote down the name of the restaurant! Would you be so kind to send this to her so we can try her recommendation? Thanks you so much in advance!!
We made delicious food and had a lot of opportunities to participate in the cooking process. And the view of the Acropolis was out of this world!
A thorough cooking lesson in a relaxed environment with a great view and thoughtful teacher. Thank you for all the top tips Estella
It was amazing to cook all together and learn about Greek traditions with Stella. I would really recommend this experience to anybody who enjoy cooking and meeting new people from around the word.
The instructor Stella was great. Really engaging - a group of probably 14 people, with her instruction, participated in preparing a four course meal: lamb and potatoes, spinach pie, stuffed grape leaves and a Greek style salad After preparation we headed to outside of restaurant where class was held to be served. The service was slow and they over charged for a drink which should have been included . Dessert was never served and we just left instead of waiting , hence the four stars. Stella was five stars and interacting with the other people was also great. Definitely recommend.
This is a chopping class and the food was mediocre at best. Lovely tour operator, yet I would not ever recommend
Stella was amazing. So welcoming, knowledgeable and inviting to sharing the authentic Greek cuisine and traditions. Our small group was so fun. We enjoyed a delicious meal and had the best view of the Parthenon. 10/10!!!
Vicki was a great instructor and explains steps so well. We all had fun assisting and getting to eat our cooking afterwards! She really gets the kids engaged in the class. It was a great addition to our Greek vacation! The food was delicious!
Our experience was very good! Our teacher Vicky did a great job in teaching our group 5 different dishes. She was very knowledgeable about the local cuisine and methods of cooking. I highly recommend this activity to those who are foodies and to those who enjoy cooking.
Stella was great! Very engaging especially with kids. You can tell that she loves her job. The food was delicious!
Stella was absolutely amazing! She made the class informative and fun! She was super knowledgeable as well.
Stella was terrific. We made 5 courses- lamb, spinach pie, stuffed grape leaves, taziki and Greek salad.
Niki and stella were great! Very clear and informative instructions. We had a lot of fun and we learned alot of useful information about greek food. The food was worth it! Thank you!
