We attended on a Thursday night and while the venue can accommodate many people, there were only around 30 people in attendance. The food was average in quality and generous in portions. The entertainment was nonstop for over two hours with singing and dancing by capable and appealing singers and skilled, folk costumed dancers, all of whom did their best to engage with and involve the entire audience. The wine served was definitely not to my liking and I am no wine snob. When I drink wine it is as likely to be purchased from my local grocery store as a liquor store and ranges in price from $8-$20. That said, we drank the bottled water and we purchased beer and were satisfied. Overall, we came for the entertainment and not the food as there are many places to choose from to dine in the area. As stated, we ate the food and were satisfied and the two hours of entertainment went very fast because the entire audience had a lot of fun.

We had the best night. Zorba, plate smashing. Zorba, foods, views, dancing show.. oh and did i mention Zorba (lol) Honestly a great experience… let loose and take your dancing shoes.
It was great. Our guide didn't bother us. Had a chance to experience some dancing ourselves. Good music. They did several dances. We waited until 11;pm.. it was good.
This should have been a wonderful evening BUT after getting confirmation TWICE that we would be picked up at our hotel, we learned afterwards that the pick up point was changed. Being on a day tour we didn’t get that message. We were told the street was too narrow at the hotel - this should have been mentioned before the day of this tour! Other vehicles somehow managed to pick us up as expected. When we called the phone number provided to ask where the dinner dance was, hoping we could meet the group there, nobody answered. Big disappointment - we should be refunded.
I loved everything!- the atmosphere, the food, the music, the dancing, the great company. I highly recommend!
Very enjoyable , the guide was very charming and knowledgeable on the way to the venue pointing out various ancient sights and there history the venue itself was very rustic, the singers and dancers where exceptional and a good time had by all also the audience participating was excellent and funny
Dancing and music were great. I was disappointed that they didn't end with Zorba the Greek music. The chicken had too much salt. I would have preferred a Greek desert, rather than ice cream.
We opted to skip the bus ride and meet directly at the restaurant. We all enjoyed the show. We were disappointed that the meal was not traditional greek food.
We were scheduled to be picked up at our hotel but instead was directed to walk two blocks through heavy traffic (tour guide literally stopped traffic). Once on the bus it took over two hours to reach the restaurant. The bus had to make several other stops to pick up guests and drove to the acropolis and a couple other attractions and let folks out to get pictures. Once we finally arrived in Plaka we were escorted through alley ways to the restaurant. The dancing was nice, but the dinner was a piece of chicken, some rice and some potatoes. There were some appetizers prior to dinner. What I expected from the description of the tour was seeing Plaka and walking around but we only saw the alley way and restaurant. There was no mention of site seeing as the places the bus stopped, we had already visited early that day.
The dance show was good with many different kinds of local greek dances with traditional costumes. We were very happy with the performances. The food on the other hand was just ok and nothing special. But it didn't bother us, as the dance show was the most important thing for us. There was also a nice tour around the city before the dinner show. We were able to see the most famous monuments of Athens lit at night, which was beautiful and a nice activity for our first night in the city.
It says it start at 8 pm. It started at 9:15 pm The tour guide, while speaking thru the mic, it was impossible to hear her. People asked to speak louder and it was still bad We were packed in a locale like sardines. There was absolutely no room even to eat White wine was warm. I am absolutely positive that a fire department of any county in the US would shut down the place due to lack of security/safety. A few positives: good show but not great and good food but not great either. If you want to waste your money, this would be a fabulous way to do it
The entertainment was absolutely fabulous different traditional dances live music and singing. There was no information on the description about a tour about 1 1/2 hours driving around the town we didn’t need a tour bus taking that long before getting to our destination food was bellow average we had been in Greece for 2 weeks and had all different kinds of food in different places so definitely below average and we shared our appetizers and salads with another couple we didn’t know which was very unpleasant and made all of us uncomfortable
Great dancing and singing. Seating very squished and restaurant was hot. Food was good. Tour guide was not very polite.
Too long, too noisy, no great talent, food 50/50. Very touristy, without the class. Very group focused.
The dancing. I wish there was more dancing and less time with the singers. We enjoyed it but it had start before we got there and we left while they were still performing.
Our guide Maria, was extremely rude, her historical knowledge was limited, and she spent most of her time complaining about the British. At the venue the staff were at the best surly. The show had already begun, and most of the audience left after about 30 minutes. The dancers were excellent, hence the 1 star, and deserve better than this bunch of chancers. I would advise any couple planning a night out in Athens to send the 138 Euros elsewhere.
Dancing was great! But band too loud, couldn’t hear singer. Food was fine. Pick up needs to improve. Tour only thinks you stay at hotels. No place to put in address for appt rental pickup. Choose someone else.
We had a lovely night at a Plaka Taverna with greek dinner and a wonderful performance with several greek musicians, singers and dancers. We really enjoyed and they are all very professional.
The whole evening was enjoyable. The food was wholesome and filling. Dancing by both men and ladies proved very entertaining and colourful with plenty of opportunities to have a go oneself. Unfortunately there was no plate smashing for those who enjoy such things.
We were jet lagged but were glad we had confirmed a trip to Plaka with dinner , a great singer (both of Greek and English songs) and many dancers representing different styles of Greek dance from around the country and islands. The seating was nice and we could see the stage well. The waiters brought several courses sampling different kinds of foods, salads, breads, yogurt and meat. Wine was extra. We drank water which helped with digestion. The local driver waited for us and returned us to our hotel when we were ready to leave. Many people responded to the invitation to try out a dance and the dancers had fun getting the tourists involved.
The food was fair, the music was good, but we were expecting local Greek dancers and there were none.
An exhibition that needs to be replicated, a gallery that eats flaklor and its eastern dance is not acceptable Food just gave us vegetables because we don’t eat chicken and meat
