Our Acropolis tour guide was amazing! We learned so much about Greece as a country, Greek mythology, and she seamlessly wove in Percy Jackson.

We were very thankful, that you had the patience to find us for the beginning of the tour. The Percy Jackson game was great for the kids, but please emphasise that the kids need to have their own phone with internet access. I appreciated the knowledge and commentary of our guide.

This is a great company. Had a private tour from our cruise ship. Had a little difficulty finding our driver due to a strike at the port but everything worked out fine. Our guide is a practicing archaelogist and very knowledgeable about the acropolis and the museum. They took care of all the ticketing issues for us. The second guide added a percy jackson themed game incorporating athenian history and mythology.

Myself, my husband, and our 15-year-old daughter, spent 2 weeks in Greece in June and our Half-Day Percey Jackson tour with Greek Mythology Tours was one of the highlights of our trip. From the booking process with Konstantina, who was so informative and quick to respond; to our fantastic half day tour of the Acropolis and Acropolis museum with Eva; the process was seamless. Eva was so knowledgeable and was able to keep the adults engaged as well as a teenager. Our daughter loved all things Percy Jackson as a tween, but as she is a bit older, I was concerned the tour may be too young for her, but that was not the case. Eva made the experience so memorable, and our daughter even said at the end that she felt like she'd made a friend in Athens. Do not hesitate to book Greek Mythology Tours! You will not regret it.

We had a wonderful time on our Percy Jackson Acropolis tour. My 10 yr old really looked up to our tour guide and loved how knowledgeable he was. And it was great to have a 2nd guide who was super knowledgeable about the book series since my son is a massive fan. He enjoyed the app activities and as a parent, it was a great way to get a few mins to myself. My son was at total ease with our guides and I loved how comfortable he was walking along side them and listening. They involved him and interacted with him in a way that really connected with him. It was a great time!

Excellent privatevtour for our family of 4. We have two kids (ages 15 and 10), both of which have been Percy Jackson fans. From the booking of the trip, the day before our tour, meeting the tour guide, and finishing the tour.. it was all coordinated perfectly. I knew exactly what to expect. The tour guide was excellent and knew how to engage our kids, weave in mythology and also Percy Jackson stories, she kept our kids interested the whole time. It was pricy, but worth it!

We had an absolutely incredible experience on our Acropolis and museum tour with Eva! Words honestly can't describe how much we enjoyed it, and it was easily one of the biggest highlights of our trip. Eva met us promptly and paced the entire tour perfectly for our family. She did an amazing job balancing the depth of information—satisfying the adults' questions while keeping everything completely engaging and accessible for the kids. A few things that made this tour so special: Perfect Timing: She timed the tour beautifully so we were able to beat the sweltering midday heat. Family Photos: She knew exactly where the best photo spots were and took some wonderful pictures of our family. Museum Visit: In the Acropolis Museum, she highlighted the absolute must-see exhibits to give us the perfect amount of context, then let us explore the rest on our own. The length of the tour was just right from start to finish. If you are traveling to Greece with family, definitely book this tour and ask for Eva!

Our guide Maria was so so wonderful. Her focus was on the kids, she explained what we were seeing without talking down to them and her energy was admirable. She read the room and adjusted as necessary. The app component was fun and gamified it a bit. Worth every penny!

The Percy Jackson Acropolis tour was the best way to experience the Acropolis , Parthenon and museum with our 2 teen boys. It was a great mix of history, learning about ancient Greek events and Greek mythology wrapped around a quest adventure. Was well worth getting up early for an 8am start before the crowds and heat. Eva was a very knowledgeable and engaging tour guide.

We had a brilliant tour with Elena and Yohanna: super knowledgeable, and they paced the tour exactly right. My children were enthralled the whole time, there was the right mix of learning, Percy Jackson references (the game was excellent), and keeping moving. And I got a lot from it too. This was a great trip. The Family Friendly Facilitators from Kids Love Greece were terrific – engaged and entertaining for our 2 grandsons (11 and 10). They made the sites and museums magical and captured the boys’ imaginations. KLG was careful, experienced, responsive and helpful in their planning.

We had 3 Tours with this company. They were all based upon the Percy Jackson Books at the Poseidon Temple, acropolis and Delphi. All were fabulous. The Tour directors were so engaging with the Boys, 11 and 14. Their additional historic, art and Culture wove a great experience through history and mythology. In addition the tour director accommodated last minute pickup changes. The expert planning of times and driving allowed us to enjoy the temples at their best of times. Recommendations for restaurants and additional sites proved fantastic!

Eva was an incredible tour guide! We have kids aged 11 and 13 and there were other kids from age 5-10 in the group and she was wonderful at engaging with all of them. The quest was such a fun experience for the kids that got them very engaged in the tour. Eva also shared so much history and mythology in a way that captivated the kids. If you have Percy Jackson fans I highly recommend this tour. There was also an unexpected strike at the museum but Eva stayed with us to eat some lunch and then go to the museum later, extending her time with us by 2 hours.

We did several full day tours with Greek Mythology Tours, and they arranged our transportation to and from the airport. We had an incredible time touring with GMT, but honestly, the best part of the tours was actually the people. My kids were so drawn to everyone we met who showed us around and engaged with them about where we were and the significance of mythology at the site. It's not easy to keep kids interested for a full-day, but we were, because of our great guides. There's no way we could have done these kinds of tours on our own, and I'm so glad we used a service that specializes in kids and mythology, it really made all of these stories come to life.

Missed the Percy Jackson vibe… not sure if the quest in the app was meant to represent it, but even that wasn’t related to the books… we’d save a lot of money if we picked a regular tour…

Our experience on the tours was better than we imagined. We spent three days touring the mythological sites in Athens. Each of the tour guides were extremely knowledgeable and very skilled at dealing with the kids. The boys had a great time and really got to show off their Percy Jackson knowledge and learn new things. We’re in Crete now at the Arina Resort which is perfect. They are really enjoying swimming in the Mediterranean! Thank you for everything you did to make this the memorable experience I was hoping for.

We recently took the 7-day trip with Greek Mythology Tours. I was impressed with how well the tours were thought through. Each guide at the different locations was excellent. The guides added lots of little features to make it especially interesting for our grandson. The tour organizer, Konstantina, was very attentive throughout the process. We can't say enough good things about our Percy Jackson-inspired tour in Athens. From the moment we booked, communication was excellent — we received a helpful itinerary and tips for the day. Outstanding experience! Very kid friendly and there was an associate along with specific kid activities to keep them engaged. Guides were incredibly knowledgeable and dynamic and enthusiastic speakers! Extremely well organized! We coordinated primarily with one staff member Konstantina, who was extremely helpful and answered all questions and concerns quickly, and even helped set up an Antetokuonmpo family tour! Would absolutely recommend!

An exceptional, high quality, fun, excellent experience from the booking to the end. The tour company manager, Konstantina was patient with my hundred questions and emails. The tour guides Tina and Stella were fantastic. Patient, kind and fun. The kids were totally engaged the whole time. We learned so much about historical fiction, great stories, tons of fun! Great communication along the way. Including the booking process. Our tour guide even escorted us back to the hotel and assisted us with the transfers to the airport after our tour. Truly fantastic. Extremely disappointing experience. I have read the reviews from others experiences and our tour was completely different. Our guide was Eleni and I don't know what the drivers name was. To start, while Eleni was lovely and very nice but didn't really do or know much other than some small talk and turn on an audio story and escorting us out of the vehicle. She didn't know answers to basic questions (towel rental), and guided us towards bathrooms that were closed per the hours listed outside. She had us go all the way down the hill, only to be told by drivers in the parking lot, and we had to shlep back up with exhausted kids at the end of the night. She was not waiting for us at the entrance but instead in front of the parking lot, so we had to figure out how to get out on our own. Additionally she and the driver told us all about the danger of the road we were on, and how many peopleg were killed and started pointing out flower memorials for kids that died. I had to ask them to stop talking about it as it was inappropriate. The driver was also extremely distracted. He and Eleni were in deep conversation the entire drive, as if they were in a private cafe. He kept his eyes more on her than on the road and we were extremely stressed. It defeats the point of having a professional driver if the driver is distracted while driving a family on a road they just pointed out people die on frequently. If I didn't know the tour was Percy Jackson or even mythology themed from booking it, I would have never known. We asked Eleni if she had read the series, and she said she read the first book. She played the pre-made audio story and handed out short activity booklets with a few stories and 1. word search. My 6 year old could not use the booklet at all as it is an higher reading level. Eleni asked kids their favorite gods and that's about it. She did not ask further questions or engage them. After 2 hours together they still didn't know our kids names. Eleni told one mythology story - Theseus. She didn't say a word about poiseden even though we were going to that temple. We had more knowledgeable and engaged drivers on other parts of the trip. When we asked simple questions such as what is the body of water we are driving past or a historic monument, they did not know. I was able to open google maps and get the answer on my own, which is something a facilitator should be able to do. The only things pointed out to us were the. death memorials and sea bass farms on the water where fish are bred in terrible conditions. As we approached the temple of Poiseden, they didn't point it out - we saw it on our own. They didn't even offer to take a single photo of our family. I still don't know anything about the lake we stopped at or Cape Souino. The kids ended up on their iPads both drives to and from Athens because they were so bored. The only positive part of the experience was working with Konstantina in the front office who was very responsive and helpful ahead of time as well as after. We had the treasure hunt scheduled for the next day, but Eleni informed us she would be the guide again, so we cancelled. I did not request a refund as I understand the cancellation policy, but I was disappointed it was not offered under the circumstances or that no discount was provided for our experience.

Marialena was a superb tour guide. From the moment she picked us up, she made our daughter feel special & like we were going on an incredible adventure through Greek history. She was full of interesting facts about Greece & stories of Greek mythology and when Evie knew the story, she let her share in the telling of it, which Evie LOVED! Marialena immediately put us all at ease & made Evie feel confident enough to ask questions, which she did! There is no way we would have gotten as much out of the museum or the Acropolis without her there to guide us through. I loved hearing about the medicine & also about why there are gaps in the museum, as well as the little Lego facts & the links to Percy Jackson everywhere. We couldn’t have asked for a better tour guide - our memories will last a lifetime & we are very grateful to Marialena for making the tour so magical for us, especially in the wind & cold! Our daughter (age12) is huge fan of the books, and this experience brought Greek mythology to life in the most exciting way. From the moment we met our incredible guide, who was both knowledgeable and engaging, we knew we were in for a treat. The scavenger hunt was brilliantly designed to keep kids (and adults!) entertained while exploring the incredible ruins of Athens. Our guide wove in mythology, history, and Percy Jackson references seamlessly, making it feel like we were stepping straight into the world of Camp Half-Blood. The challenges, riddles, and quests kept our daughter completely immersed, and she hasn't stopped talking about it since! What really stood out was how the tour balanced education and fun—our daughter learned so much about Greek history and mythology without even realizing it. The tour was well-paced, interactive, and perfectly tailored for kids, tweens, and teens. If you're visiting Athens with young mythology lovers, don’t hesitate—this is hands-down the best way to explore the ancient sites while keeping the whole family engaged. 10/10 experience! We would do it again in a heartbeat!

I booked this scavenger hunt for my 6 and 8 year old boys who are both Percy Jackson fans in the hope that it would make our wandering through Athens more purposeful and enjoyable - and it did! We met with Konstantina who was excellent from start to finish: she was very kind, found the common language with the kids (in English) straight away and clearly had a well-thought out plan for the hunt. She always gave just enough clues for us to be able to figure out the next step and the difficulty of the puzzles was just right for this age group. Due to the good planning, the hunt was not exhaustingly long, but it did take us quite some sights which we would not have found on our own. There is even a great surprise in the middle which the kids (actually, we all!) really enjoyed. We were very happy with the organisation and Konstantina's informative and very topical puzzles - 100% would recommend.

We had an amazing time in Athen's and the Percy Jackson Acropolis & Acropolis Museum Tour was the highlight of the entire trip. On arriving at the Acropolis there was an issue with out tickets but Vera handled it very professionally and sorted new tickets. Whilst we waiting for our new time slot we headed to the museum. My boys are far more knowledgable about ancient Greece and Greek mythology than me, so it was fantastic to have Vera point out all the points of interest and tell us the stories and histories behind them. Vera was asking them questions, testing their knowledge and adding to their learning. We gain so much more from the experience with Vera, than if I had been in charge. We did the half day Percy Jackson Akropolis trip which was great. Tine was an amazing guide! In every way, the information she shared, the story-telling, stopping regularly and finding us shade and managing expectations. I forgot the other guide's name but it was nice that we had a break in the museum and she entertained the kids for a while. We initially found the price on the high side but it was money spent very well. The services (also communications in booking and organising tickets) was really outstanding.

Our tour guide for the Acropolis and the Acropolis museum was very knowledgeable about the history, the mythology and also knowing where to go when for the fewest crowds. We seemed to arrive at key spots just at the right time to get great photos, and left just as the crowds were pouring in. The timing could not have worked out better especially at the end of June when the tourist season picks up. The 4 hours was full of interest without being too complex. We booked the Percy Jackson tour for our 15 year old daughter who is a big Greek Mythology fan. Initially I thought more PJ could have been woven in to the tour guides narrative but our daughter loved it (one of the highlights of her trip) and any question the PJ fans had, the guide was able to respond to. Towards the middle of the 2nd hour she had the children following her, like the Pied Piper, asking all sorts of PJ related questions. The earpieces were brilliant and I'd say a necessity for a tour like this. We were able to clearly hear our guide without having to be stood right next to her and this allowed us to sometimes hang back for better views/photos, an absolute must in what can be a very noisy area. Overall we all got something out of this tour, us adults learned more about the history/mythology and the teenager scratched a big itch conversing with another PJ enthusiast in an amazing setting. Highly recomend.

The tour guide for the Acropolis / Slopes and Acropolis museum was very knowledgeable, a bit serious, but very effective. We were hoping for more Percy Jackson, however. We chose this tour because our kids enjoy the Percy Jackson books, but aside from a few moments, this wasn't really part of the tour. I think the guides could do a better job integrating Percy Jackson stories / anecdotes into the tour.

We did the Family Scavenger Hunt based on Percy Jackson. We had a fantastic time, despite the heat 🔥 ☀️! Stella was a wonderful tour guide and both of our kids, age 10 and 12 were super into the scavenger hunt and really enjoyed it. We all agreed that it was our favorite part of visiting Athens. We saw things we normally would have passed right by, and the picture stop of the Acropolis was awesome! I would definitely recommend for families - whether you are into Percy Jackson or just enjoy solving puzzles.

HIGHLY recommend and even insist you take this tour! Our guide Tiama and our facilitator Eugenia were incredible. This was the first time my husband and I have ever done any sort of museum or monument with a guide and we will always look to use a guide in future (and hopefully they are this good). Tiama was incredibly knowledgeable, fun and great with the younger kids (our daughter was 12 on the tour). She made the whole 4 hours interesting and we learnt so much. Eugenia was great as the facilitator for the Percy Jackson element - I would add that if you are not a Percy Jackson fan this trip is still worth doing! A+!

Absolutely amazing tour company! We just returned from Greece and we had 6 days of tours with Greek Mythology Tours. From planning to traveling to our return, it was wonderful. We did the 3 Day Percy Jackson Mythology trip and then we added 3 more days of private tours. We started in Athens with the Acropolis, Lake Vouliagmeni and Poseidon's temple. Day 2 was Delphi, Day 3 was Epidaurus and Nafplio. Day 4 was Olympia, Day 5 was Mycenae and Corinth and Day 6 was in Crete for Knossos. Every driver and tour guide was Top Notch. The tours are designed for children but this was exactly what my 21 year old 'child' wanted and they adjusted easily. The communication with the company before we left was excellent, the payments were easy, and when we needed help while traveling, they were responsive and efficient. They even offered to purchase the museum and admission tickets in advance so we could move through the lines more quickly. I cannot say enough about how happy we are to have booked our magical vacation through Greek Mythology Tours.

The Percy Jackson perspective kept our 11 year-old engaged throughout the 4 hours, and the guide was terrific. We had similar success with their tours of Delphi and in Crete, and Konstantina was an incredibly helpful and responsive contact person. We highly recommend them!
