Great experience, don’t skip dinnner or ice cream. It was stunning at the temple. 100% worth it and would do it again. Our driver, Theo was so fun and knowledgeable.

This is a must do if you are in Athens. This was our favorite excursion that we did while we were in Athens. We spent three nights four days there. It also was the best meal we had there by far. Highly recommend trying to get Theo as your guide.

The Cape Sounion Temple of Poseidon tour was an amazing experience. Traveling with my husband and this was our fist trip to Athens and this experience did not disappoint. We were picked up by Dimitris in a private luxury car, directly from our hotel. Dimitris gave us a warm welcome and was very friendly the entire trip. He was full of knowledge about anything Greece overall. The ride was very comfortable and the route was beautiful alongside the sea. Given the overcast, rain, and high winds, our sunset at Poseidon was not as amazing as it should've been but it was still worth the trip just for Dimitris' knowledge and friendship alone. After my husband and I got tired of being tossed around by the wind...lol... we spent time in the souvenir shop. We didnt feel rushed. Once we were ready, we simply sent a message and Dimitris was right there. We stopped for a nice dinner at a local restaurant, The Four Brothers Tavern. The food was amazing. It was Fresh, flavorful, fantastic food. The seafood spaghetti is a must try surprise. Ouzos....yummy! Then to top off the night, an ice cream treat. The service was amazing. The scenery was at the restaurant was beautiful with a view of the sea and mountains. Then to top it off, Dimitris handed us a special box of treats as we arrived back to the hotel. This was a definite 5 star experience even with the weather. I can only imagine the magic even bigger on a full sunny day.Thank you, Dimitris. Huge heartfelt... ευχαριστώ

Excellent driver and guide, by far our favorite experience of the trip! We took a drive down to Cape Sounio and John timed the drive just perfect so we could enjoy sunset there. 10/10 experience!

The experience was amazing and definitely worth the money. Having our own personal tour guide who gave us the ease of picking up and dropping off at our hotel was so convenient. The timing was perfect for sunset and the dinner afterwards was delicious with a beautiful view. My husband and I are so grateful we got to experience a tour like this on our honeymoon!

The trip went very well and the sunset was stunning. Leaving the city a little after 5pm is just enough time to enjoy some sceneries and to get to the location close to sunset time. Our driver Giorgos was very punctual, nice and pleasant. He made great recommendations too in terms of activities and day trips from the city.

Theo, our driver, was knowledgeable and friendly. He took us to the most amazing seaside restaurant before our short trip to Cape Sounio and Poseidon's Temple. There we watched the most beautiful sunset before our drive back to Athens. Theo stopped along the way so that we could take pictures and even introduced us to the iced cappuccino. We would come back again and ask for Theo.

We had the best time with Giorgos! We saw so much of the sea and cape sounjo and had a wonderful dinner before seeing the temple of Poseidon. The sunset was beautiful and ended in a really yummy ice cream! A highlight of our trip. We recommend!

This was a very enjoyable evening! Dimitris was our wonderful driver. He picked us up on time at our hotel. We enjoyed his wealth of knowledge. We were 2 couples and it was one friend’s birthday. I submitted a simple request and Dimitri’s showed up with gifts for her. The view from the Temple of Poseidon was the best of our 12 day trip. After seeing the sunset we stopped for dinner at a place Dimitris suggested. We were hesitant on the fresh caught fish but it was so delicious! The meal was family style with way too much food at a very reasonable price.

We had the lost amazing time work Theo! He was insightful and knowledgeable and have is the best advice on places to go, see, and everything in-between! Not to mention he had an awesome playlist for the drive! He stopped to get us iced cappuccino and told us the history, stopped us to snap shots for us as a couple, and took us for I've cream on the way back! He even gote a gift fort birthday!!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Sounio with Theo. We fully expected the temple of Poseidon to be amazing, which it was, but we also really enjoyed the chance to get out of Athens for an evening and see the beach towns on the way. Had no idea that this is what exists just outside the city. The stop at the seaside restaurant was also one of the best meals we had on the trip with huge portions of vey tasty fresh seafood and a great view. 100% recommend!

One of the best sunsets we saw while we were in Athens! Our driver Dimitris was great, the restaurant he took us to for dinner was amazing, he was professional, spoke to much of the local history and traditions and followed up with just good conversation. We were surprised with a box of local candies at the end of the experience. It was a perfect way to end our trip. If you a great sunset and a great experience… don’t hesitate to book this one!

Theo was our guide, he was from the area and knew the Riviera very well. He had lots of interesting stories. He definitely kept us entertained on our tour to the temple of Poseidon. He also took us to a greatrestaurant afterwards a family owned local place. The food was fantastic. Would highly recommend having him as my tour guide again.

Theo, our driver was really knowledgeable and we had a fabulous relaxed time. On the drive down he showed us places we wouldn’t have gone such as into the yacht club with the super yachts and knew where to stop for good photos. Lovely experience at The Posiedon Temple watching the sunset and wasn’t too busy. Then had a lovely rustic meal at a taverna on the sea front. Was lovely to chat to a Greek about just life in Greece in a comfy air conditioned car.

Great visit to the Temple of Poseidon. We had 5 hours to fill in before our flight from Athens. Picked up from the cruise port at Piraeus in a lovely Mercedes Benz. Driver Georgis had excellent English. He told us music history as we drove along the Athens beach line coast to Cape Sounio and the Temple of Poseidon. The Temple was not crowded and had easy steps to reach the summit. Fabulous views across the bay as well. Afterwards we had time for lunch and Georgis took us to a waterfront restaurant with an authentic Greek seafood lunch. Delicious.

Giorgos made the end of a very long travel day relaxing and comfortable while we checked off Temple of Poseidon off the bucket list. Accommodated separate pick up and drop off points, very informative and excellent restaurant recommendation. Truly charming.

Our tour guide Harry was very knowledgeable and very interesting to listen to. Also pretty nice guy. We went to the location and he explained a lot of the things along the way, sites , history of Greece etc. We went to a restaurant that was overlooking the Temple of Poseidon and the food was great. Then we drove to the location and saw the temple of poseidon. As the sun was going down. The trip back to the hotel was enjoyable. Harry offered to stop at an ice cream place but we were too full. It was a great trip to take. To see some different locations away from the center of athens.

The guide was really helpful and friendly and did his best to ensure we had a great experience. He worked on our behalf with the local restaurant, and staff at each stop to ensure we were taken care of. But overall it seemed he was making up for a lack of planning by the company. There was no reservation at the restaurant and there was a private party so we had to go to a backup restaurant which was clearly not happy that we were ushered in ahead of other people waiting there. We were served out of obligation and did not feel at all welcomed. The temple and sunset were amazing though.

It was great experience ! The ride with Dimitris was amazing ! He gave us a ride and explaining landmarks and their history along the way. He was also very hospitable with the treats he Provided also the yummy gelato treat on our way back to hotel. This excursion was amazing. It was one of my favorite excursions in Greece. The view from Poseidon Temple was unbelievable. The sunset was breathtaking. Our driver Theo was very knowledgeable and funny. He asked us if we had seen several places and we told him we had. We told him the only thing we hadn’t seen was the Olympic stadium. He said he would take us there even though it wasn’t part of our tour. He was so accommodating. Crispy Local is a wonderful company to take tours with. The drivers are the best.

My kids and I loved our trip down to the Temple of Poseidon with Theo! He was entertaining and knowledgeable, and my daughter says to let him know we settled up for €75 for the photos 😆😆😆

A fantastic experience driving along the Athenian Riviera enroute to Sounion to see Poseidon’s Temple at sunset! The views are amazing! Jason picked us up promptly from our hotel in a luxury Mercedes Benz suv, and chose the most perfect place for dinner on the Riviera with views of the temple. Jason was fantastic and quite knowledgeable about Greece! We’d definitely make this tour a “must do” on your trip to Athens!

We enjoyed our dinner overlooking the water. Our Tour of the Poseidon Temple given by Maria was great. She was very detailed and gave us room to ask questions. Overall, it was a great experience and would highly recommend.

We had a great time on this outing to see the sunset at Cape Sounio and Poseidon’s Temple. The view was spectacular and very special. Harry and George made the ride very fun and gave us a lot of great information. We also enjoyed a lovely dinner by the sea. I would highly recommend. My only advice would be to get your entrance tickets to the temple in advance.

We were a group of four. The drive to Sounion was comfortable in a large Mercedes SUV. Dinner spot was across a little bay from the Temple of Poseidon with a beautiful view! We got to the main site with an hour to spare before sunset which was good because there was quite a line to get tickets. Recommendation - get tickets online in advance at tickets.hh.gr. The views were spectacular and the weather perfect! Driver parked in a great spot so we got out of there w/o delay, but the ride home was busy because of traffic on Sunday nights in the summer! Definitely worth the trip

We had a lovely evening as the finale of our first trip to Greece. The company always quickly responded to communication to set up our dinner reservation. Our guide, Jason, was prompt to pick us up, very professional and friendly. It was lovely to talk to him and learn more about living in Greece. It was neat to have the perspective of that part of the country, beautiful driving down the shoreline- so different from Athens. The lighting on the temple was amazing around the sunset. Highly recommend!

We had a truly magical experience at Sunion, beautiful weather, and a great sunset with 360 degree views. We started with the drive to the coast, and then headed south down the coastal roads with and a stop to see the amazing Lake Vouliagmeni. It's a moderate drive but our driver Harry kept us entertained the whole way discussing sports, politics and life in Greece. The dinner stop was literally steps from the water and had a great traditional Greek meal. Then we arrived with perfect timing to see the sunset. Another quick stop to get gelato, and back to our apartment. We even got to see the changing of the guard as the stars aligned and the timing, like the entire trip, was perfect,
