Vasilus was very friendly and knowledgeable and gave us a great introduction to Athens. Comfortable vehicle and just the right duration of trip.

We had a wonderful half day excursion with Michael. He took great care of us from the point of meeting off the ship to bringing us back to the port. We saw so much in our short time together and he was so knowledgeable about every place we visited. He made sure our Acropolis tickets were arranged and showed us exactly what to do and where to go. It was an amazing morning and we could not recommend it more for a quick stop in Athens to take in the highlights.

Driver Michael was waiting at Piraeus port for us with a sign. We then saw so much of Athens with his knowledge - changing of the guard, many buildings and sights, we walked to the top of the Acropolis and then saw the Olympic stadium. Thanks to Michael for an excellent tour and for Christina for organising.

This tour was a great way to get an overview of the sights of Athens. Our tour guide was personable and tailored the tour to our needs and wants. He was very knowledgeable and could provide us with insights and history.

We had a wonderful tour! Petros, our guide met us as soon as we exited the cruise port. He was extremely knowledgeable about Athens. We thoroughly enjoyed our tour. At the end of the tour he drove us to our airport hotel. We’d highly recommend. Overall wonderful service and great value.

Perfect for those needing to pass time after disembarking from a cruise and waiting for accommodation. The team were totally accommodating for us when we were able to get an earlier disembarkation. This proved invaluable since we then straight to the Acropolis (we purchased tickets with them as well) at 8:30am. Seeing the sunrise through the columns of the Parthenon was surreal. Our driver was Totti and she timed things perfectly for us. Seeing the changing of the guard at the forgotten soldier memorial was also very special. We skipped Plaka (we are not a fan of big crowds) and so Totti took us to this secret spot to view the Parthenon. There were no crowds and tortoises just roaming around. Again, another highlight to our trip. We appreciate the pick up from the port and then the drop off to our air bnb accommodation. It worked out perfectly for when we were allowed to check-in.

Perfect! Our guide, Spiros, picked us up on time in a sparking clean Mercedes van. He was personable, friendly, engaging, a good driver, and very knowledgeable of the city and its culture. We had plenary of time to explore all the famous sites. A microphone would have been helpful as I was in the back seat and had some difficulty hearing. (Perhaps he uses one when the van is full?)

Family of 5 adults and 3 children. Firstly met us at our cruise terminal in Piraeus and introduced him self to the whole family. The bus was clean and extremely comfortable and even had a car seat for our 7 month old child. Jorge was extremely knowledgable and even after the failed attempt to get Acropolis tickets he gave us other options which all added to the overall experience of the tour. We wanted certain photo opportunities and Jorge did everything he could and delivered everything we wanted. Even recommended food stops based on the children’s picky eating habits. Couldn’t recommend this tour enough and was perfect for our whistle stop tour of Athens seeing so much more than any hop on hop off bus can deliver in a day. 5 star!!

Our guide/driver, Fotos, arrived early - which was great since we departed earlier than expected. He was a very safe driver. And offered water throughout the tour. He was very knowledgeable and talked about the areas that we were driving through and had great recommendations on what to do/see in our 4 hour tour. He would drop us off to see the chosen sights, and then either stayed close in the car or was just a text away. Fotos also gave us excellent recommendations for dinner.

We were absolutely stoked. Our guide was amazing!! He was waiting for us when we disembarked from the ship in Athens and he went out of his way to show us the best sights of Athens, including pre-arranged, skip the line tickets to the Acropolis. We could feel his love for his country and he went way beyond our expectations! He literally took us everywhere! We saw so much thanks to him. We also felt very safe with him. He was an excellent driver, he looked after our luggage for the whole time, and he was always making sure we were OK, and delivered us and our luggage safely to the airport at the end of it all. Thomas picked us up at the port at disembarkation as we started our 3hr tour of Athens highlights. Thomas's knowledge of Athens and professionalism was amazing as we enjoyed so many panoramic moments before he drove us to the Airport for our departure. Definitely recommend this tour as you can have your luggage secured in the car and enjoy sightseeing stress free. Thank you Thomas for making the last few hours of our vacation memorable.

We loved everything about this tour. I unfortunately am terrible with names and cannot remember our tour guides name, but he was friendly, knowledgeable and flexible as we worked our way through Athens for our tour. He picked us up promptly at 9 AM from our hotel and for the next few hours we went all over Athens to view / see as much as we possibly could. Some highlights were: Ancient Agora (we spent an hour walking around inside and learning about it), Zeus Temple, President and Prime Minister homes, the best view of Athens, Panathenaic Stadium and several other places. Our tour guide answered all of our questions on Athens and we learned so much about this area of the world. We really appreciated the knowledge and experience of this personalized tour and my family loved that it was just us and the tour guide throughout the experience. We were dropped off at the pier for our cruise on Royal Caribbean on time with no delays or issues. We chose not to see the Acropolis as part of this tour as we saw it the night before. Instead we saw the Ancient Agora. The tickets for the Acropolis or other tour sites that you stop at are not included in the overall charge of the tour. Be aware that you will want to purchase these tickets at the time you book the tour based on what you want to see. We worked with Athens Tours Greece to book our tickets. The tour company was fantastic to work with and answered our (many many) questions and even provided a recommendation on a hotel for us. They were always helpful and available to answer our questions.

Our guide was very knowledgeable and informative. He accommodated all our needs. We would use his services again if we’re ever fortunate enough to return to Athens. Great guy.

Costas and our driver (the maestro - truly!) were so knowledgeable, kind, full of passion for Greece, articulate in English, and welcoming. They treated my family like family and showed us an amazing time in Athens. I cannot say enough nice things and enthusiastically recommend them to you!!!

We enjoyed our tour in Athens with Alexander who is a very knowledgeable guide. He dropped us at the Acropolis and picked us up later at an designated time/place. He then drove us through the city and pointed out several sights and provided interesting information. While we enjoyed the tour and highly recommend it, we feel it was overpriced considering it was primarily just transportation with some commentary thrown in as the guide did not accompany us through the Acropolis.

Theodore was wonderful! Four of us rode in a luxury van that could have held 15 - nice! We saw the sights, had plenty of time to explore on our own as we saw the highlights and some lesser known stops as well. Pretty customizable wrt to how much time to spend where. Definitely recommend.

The guide/driver was not pleasant. He did not advised of the tickets to the parks. We waisted our time and could not see the main park. We spend over 30 minutes inline to purchase the tickets and upon getting to the window the staff close the window. The driver was not very friendly not helpful. The tour company wanted to charger us $60 an hour additional to stay longer when we had booked 4 hrs shore excursion. This company did not even call me or text me by whatsapp. I was on a 9 days cruise and all other company call us and text us. Not happy with with company who did not care about tourists. And the driver seemed like he did not wanted to be bothered. Not a good experience went to Athens and could not see the main attractions. Waited my money and we were 7 adults.

Wonderful tour with Alexander yesterday. He picked us up in a nice sedan right where we exited our cruise ship in Pireaus. He was extremely knowledgeable and an amazing driver in tight spaces as we made our way to all the major sights in Athens. I would recommend booking a time slot for the Acropolis in advance though, as we could not access the top. We arrived at 9 and the next available slots were at 11, but we did get some good pictures anyway. Four enjoyable hours later, we were dropped right at the door to our downtown Athens hotel. Highly recommended.

We were onboard the Norwegian Gem cruise ship and were disembarking in Athens. Our flight home wasn't till 17.00 hours so we decided to book a tour of Athens. We were met at the Cruise port by Jorge at 8.30am. He took us on a sight seeing tour of Athens which included the Acropolis and Parthenon. We had an hour and a half there which we needed as it was so busy. Jorge picked us back up and took us to St. George's Hill which is so high up and has an amazing view over Athens. We didnt realise just how massive a city Athens is with a population of over 3 million. He drove us around and pointed out so many attractions and was so informative about the city. He then drove us to the airport. We were with him for around 4 1/2 hours. It was a great sightseeing tour and would recommend it to anyone we would defo use them again if we ever return to Athens

The driver/guide was great and took us places a normal tour bus could not go. I highly recommend this tour.

We were a group of 7 and had a private air conditioned Mercedes van. Our driver Theodore picked us up right at the exit of the cruise port and communications with the tour operator was instantaneous! Theodore was Super friendly and accommodating to all our little special requests whenever possible. He took us to the best spots in Athens and did a great job considering our limited time at this port. I must say having done many tours on this trip, having a private tour was definitely the best way to go instead of being packed like sardines in a big bus! The price was totally worth it for a private tour! I highly recommend this tour!!!

Peter was our tour guide. What an amazing experience seeing Athens with a wonderful guide who grew up in the country. Peter was informative, knowledgeable and made simple things we would never of notice come to life. We had lunch at a wonderful restaurant! Best money we spent the entire trip!

Excellent four hours excursion which really exceeded our expectations. Our guide/driver was very helpful and had brilliant knowledge of both Greek history and the current day places worth visiting in Athens. We really got a lot out of our brief visit thanks to him. The car (minivan) was also brand new and well equipped!

This tour is the best way to see Athens in a short period of time. The traffic in Athens is overwhelming especially at the tourist spots. Theodore was our driver. He was very knowledgeable about the history and arranged our stops to beat the crowds from the buses. If you are going to Acropolis I would recommend you purchase your tickets ahead of time on line. We were lucky and the ticket line wasn’t very long when we arrived. When we were leaving the line was well over an hour+ wait. Be prepared as with any tourist spot it was crowded and it wasn’t even peak season yet. This tour was very well organized and well worth the money. I would definitely recommend Theodore.

Great excursion! We had Theodore and he was wonderful! Took us to see a few sites driving to the Acropolis and tailored the whole drive to us. There wasn’t a ton of communication ahead of time, but the driver was there when promised (and we had only booked a few days ahead). Everything went perfectly!

Pre booked a tour and were collected at Piraeus port in a 16 seat Mercedes bus for our family of 14 including 5 teens and two younger children. Our driver George G was excellent and pointed out various sites as we travelled to Athens Centre. We stopped at the Acropolis and Parthenon and he said it was usually a 90 minute tour and would be back to collect us.sure enough George was back on time. Our tour of the Parthenon was very enjoyable once we queued for tickets, which as Non EU members were more expensive, we had an enjoyable walk through in glorious sunshine. Make sure you have comfortable walking shoes! We were in time to stop at the Presidential Palace and watch the changing of the Guard which was certainly an interesting spectacle. George left us to walk 100 m and parked roadside and waited for our return. On we went to see other tourist sights before stopping at the old Olympic Stadium for photographs. We were returned to Piraeus in good time for the ship’s departure. An excellent day and very good value for 14 people over 4 families which equated to circa €75 per family. The ships tour was costing more than that per person!! The Mercedes bus was excellent, clean and tidy and very comfortable. Another mention for our driver George G who gave us a great tour and was English speaking.

We very much enjoyed our tour. Christos was knowledgeable of the sites. He was very accommodating as he adjusted the start/end time to better match our ferry departure time. The vehicle was clean and comfortable. Highly recommended. Picked us up from our hotel and dropped us off with our luggage at the ferry terminal. Saved us the cost of a transfer/taxi.

Apostolos Was an excellent driver and guide. He showed us the major sights and shared about Greece and Athens, ancient and modern. We highly recommend this experience.

Great Driver Spiro our driver gave us a personal tour. I have an injured knee, he took us to great look outs for pictures without much walking.

the tour guide we had (George) was extremely knowledgeable of his city and the history of athens. he spoke english very well drove the all that traffic like it was nothing. excellent driver. the movie "300" was huge in greece they all loved it Lol.

We took the "Half-Day Bus Tour in Athens, Acropolis and Acropolis Museum Tour" with Athens Tours Greece. The price included a guide, all entry tickets and transportation from our city center hotel and back. Everything was well organized and happened on schedule. We started with a tour around the city to see the Panathenaic Stadium, Hadrian's Arch, and Constitution Square among other things. Then we went to the Acropolis Museum. The Museum is beautiful. Very clean, bright and modern. Our excellent guide explained all the things we were seeing. The Museum has a great view of the Acropolis. I loved the glass floor exposing excavations below. We then walked up the Acropolis. This is not an easy climb but doable. We are in our 70's and made it to the top. The view of the City of Athens in breathtaking. The Parthenon (a temple to the Goddess Athena) and the Porch of the Maidens are a page from the history books. We were very pleased we had booked a tour with Athens Tours Greece and would definitely utilize them again.

We were in Athens during our cruise and we booked the 4 hours tour. The Customer Service was very very helpful. Our guide David was very friendly and his services were excellent . We gladly recommend to book a tour with them. He was on time and the bus we had was a limousine!! Great price. Thanks again for the great experience. Keep on with the good work.

We took the Athens And Sounion Shared Bus Day Tour with a pick- up and drop- off to our hotel. It was a well organized tour and we were given a lot of help even though we were a large group. The ancient sites are amazing and the new Acropolis Museum was a must see. The price included our transportation, admissions to all the places and a wonderful lunch in Plaka under the Acropolis. We had time to look around the museum, to have an unrushed lunch and to take amazing photographs. I would’ve liked time to shop in Plaka, but that wasn’t included. It was great to not worry about getting lost or having to drive. My family recommends this tour and this company.

This was a perfect tour for us. Christos picked us up at the Port of Pireaus (we were disembarking from a Princess Cruise), and off we went to Athens. First stop was the Acropolis....and we beat all the crowds! No line for the tickets and we were able to walk around comfortably, even though there were lots of tours from all the cruise lines. Christos met us promptly 1 1/2 hours later, and we were amazed at the long ticket line as we left! Do not miss the Acropolis, whether you chose a self guided tour, or a guided tour....it was a highlight of our trip! Next we went to Hadrian's gate, and the temple of Zeus, the Panathenaic Stadium, and he patiently answered all our questions about life, history, architecture, neighborhoods, food, and politics of Athens. The 4 hour tour was just right. He dropped us off at our hotel and we were very glad we had booked this tour to give us an overview of Athens.

Demertis was excellent. He drove us to the highlights of Athens and he is extremely knowledgeable explaining to us interesting facts about archeological ruins and buildings. My only suggestion was that this tour should be 5 hours with more time in Plaka.

This was a cruise stop for my daughter and I. We were picked up by Christos (holding a sign with our name) at the Port of Pireaus in a very nice car. We had booked a 4 hour private tour. We were so glad we had booked! He drove us all over and explained all of the sites to us. Gave us history behind everything and even answered all of my personal questions about home life, food etc. I would do this again in a heartbeat with Christos! Thank you Christos!

<p>This tour was perfect! We were on our honeymoon and had David tour guide show up on time with an nice black car, air conditioned, comfort seats just for us 2. Not expensive at all, for all the information he gave us. He hit all great areas to take pictures and explained everything for the full half day of the tour. Not once did he stop talking and answering questions. He was amazing. We highly recommend it.</p>

We used this company for a tour in 2016 and were so happy with it we booked again for a half day tour in 2018. Our driver Nicolai picked us up for our half day ashore in Athens at the port of Pireaus. Nicolai was a good driver and knowledgable guide. His English was good and he was able to provide information of the area and answer our questions. He was on time to pick us up at every point of our tour. The vehicle was very comfortable for two couples. We asked Nicolai to take us for an authentic Greek lunch and he did not disappoint us! He took us to a great local place for gyros. It was awesome and we really appreciated it! I would definitely recommend this tour company to anyone looking for tours in Italy and Nicolai as a driver!
