Eating Athens: Our Big, Fat, Greek Food Tour

Orestis was phenomenal! He not only told us about the history of each place we visited but also gave history of the area. Food was amazing and highly recommend the tour!

Blossom knew the city and took us to some great places. There were 3 couples which was perfect for conversation and not too many to keep track of. She knew her stuff and we learned a lot...as well as had fun making our own slouvaki!

We loved this experience. There is some walking but not difficult to walk. We were able to see the open markets, churches, and have stops to eat delicious food. Maria was so passionate about her city and its customs. She explained so much about the food culture. Great evening.

Our tour guide gave a great overview of Greek history, culture and sampling of traditional Greek cuisine. We visited different neighborhoods around the Monastiraki Square. Our guide, Manolis, was excellent, extremely knowledgeable and eagerly share his vast knowledge of Greece, her history and answered all our many questions. Highly recommended tour.

Manos did a great job of mixing food, wine, history and local knowledge on our tour of the city center. Even learned how to properly combine a pita and souvlaki. Great addition to our Athens visit and would highly recommend.
