George was warm, welcoming, knowledgeable, professional, and we both felt extremely safe and secure - even in Athina's afternoon traffic! Excellent trip. Christos from LSTour was great explaining during the drive and very patient. The Delfi place is amazing and worth visiting. Lots of walking, be prepared.

George was an excellent guide/driver. He was prompt, knew the history of each area, and the ruins we saw at Delphi. He found us an amazing lunch location with the best table overlooking a beautiful valley. Would definitely recommend him!

We had a flawless experience. Christos was our driver. He was friendly and we had a great experience with him. Safe driving, good conversation and a relaxed environment that let us see Delphi at our pace. If you’re looking to see Delphi and avoid the bus/ large group tour, this is a great option.

First, if you have any interest in Greek History or Mythology, Delphi is not to be missed. We were very lucky to have Christos as our driver. He was extremely knowledgeable, thoughtful, and provided the best service we’ve ever had on a private tour.

Our driver George was superb. He turned up at our hotel on time with water for us and so much information. He discussed what we wanted to achieve and how to tailor the trip given my elderly mothers situation. He was happy to make recommendations and accommodations to help us make the most of the day. We had plenty of time at all the locations. We stopped in Delphi for lunch at a local taverna which was just superb, amazing food. Would highly recommend.

Loved loved loved it. Picked up (on time!) at 7am outside my hotel in a lovely air conditioned, cream leather, spotlessly clean car by George, (see photo - previously reviews don’t show a guide/car and I thought that was important) every time I stepped out of the car he would run round to hold the door open. I felt like the Queen of England. Really lovely smooth drive with commentary on the way, clear instructions and tips at Delphi (go to the site first as it’s early and cooler and the museum afterwards as that’s air conditioned) this was a great tip as it was hitting 40c at 9.30am. I messaged George once I was out of the museum and seconds later he was at the bottom of the steps to whisk me away with bottles of ice cold water from his cooler handed out. Lunch Omg I don’t think I’ve ever had a more amazing lunch and I’ve eaten at Michelin starred restaurants around the world - in fact l cancelled my Michelin starred Athens restaurants as nothing would meet the standard of that restaurant The view over the valley of olive trees out to sea, the BEST table, the starter of hot bread and salty black olive paste, home made lemonade, potatoes, aubergine and feta cheese with the most amazing grilled toast followed by fresh fruit on the house. Back to Athens and a wonderful day. Thank you George for one of the best trips of my life. Don’t hesitate!!

Visiting Athens for 3 nights and wanted to see Delphi during our stay which meant we were really squeezed for time. Opted for the luxury option of hiring a private car so that we could make the list of the experience. We are very glad we did. This trip allowed us to get to Delphi early, avoid the hottest part of the day but more importantly avoid the hoards arriving in coaches. Delphi was beautifully quiet and relaxing during our visit. As we were leaving, the crowds were arriving. The trip itself was lovely. Nikos, our driver was very charming and knowledgeable and gave us a running commentary on history of Delphi, Ancient Greece and of the areas we passed en route as well as a wider commentary on interesting Greek facts. We stopped twice before Delphi. Once for a bathroom / coffee break and once to take in a beautiful scenic view of the valley.  After Delphi Nikos picked us up Right outside the museum and brought us to a restaurant with quite a stunning view of the Delphi olive groves running to the sea. The food was local and the staff friendly. The car was on time, clean and air conditioned. Water was provided and we were able to eat our packed lunches (I was worried this would be verboten). Nikos even told us to leave our rubbish at the end and he dealt with it. Nikos had us back in Athens in time for a rest before our evening stroll and dinner. This isn’t the cheapest option but was the right one for us, as time was our most precious commodity. You get what you pay for and we got as good a Delphi day trip as was possible.

This was an excellent one day excursion to see the ancient site of Delphi and enjoy lunch in the hillside town. Christos was an excellent driver and guide. He was very relaxed and accommodating.

The museum was pretty accessible with some dtairs up to the entrance but the ruins were not. We left the older members of our party at the cafe. It was great to have an understanding guide and private tour so we could change plans like this. The lunch and the table our guide, Nick, arranged was magnificent!

Bill was our very kind and friendly driver on our private tour to Delphi from Athens today. He gave informative commentary on the way and we all felt very much at ease with him. We were comfortable in the air conditioned van with room for 7. Seeing Delphi was incredible. I wasn’t sure my kids would be up for such a long drive but everyone felt that it was worth it. He then took us to an amazing lunch spot with insane views and they were so great with our food allergies (nuts, legumes, seeds). Highly recommend!

We did an all day tour to Delphi from Athens. Our tour guide Bill was very kind, knowledgeable and prompt. He also took us to the best lunch spot after we visited Delphi with an amazing view and great Greek food after a hot day at the archeological site. I would highly recommend for anyone wanting a full day activity from Athens.

Christos took us on a tour to Delphi. He shared many historical facts with us during the drive, and every moment spent with him in the car was precious. We stopped for a delicious frappé. Great experience! Christos was kind, engaging, very accommodating, and a good driver. The sights were Amazing! Human beings are gifted and have been since the beginning of time. I am so glad we stayed an extra day to see Delphi and observe the ingenuity that existed thousands of years’ ago.

We booked last minute with this tour operator and they managed to fit in our request- including tickets to the museum . Our driver George was polite and friendly- drove safely to our stops. We were picked up from our hotel in Mercedes van - clean, modern and the journey - despite the traffic in and out of Athens- was comfortable. We arrived in Delphi in good time - words cannot describe Delphi- it is a wonder! Having grown up on reading Greek Myths - couldn’t believe I made it here! Our family of 4 enjoyed it too! Highly recommend to anyone visiting Greece.

Our driver, Bill, was great. He arrived early, navigated the early morning traffic like a champ, offered us some waters, stopped off at a scenic vista, gave us interesting facts about Archova and Delphi, recommended an excellent lunch spot in Delphi (our best meal on the entire trip), and got us back to our AirBnB in Athens safely. We’d definitely reserve Bill again as our driver and highly recommend him to anyone looking to check out the Delphi historical site and museum.

Christo was absolutely amazing! Arrived early, provided us with cold waters and a comfortable, safe ride to and from the Temple of Apollo in Delphi. He was personable and knowledgeable about Athens points of interest, Greek history and culture. While we were visiting the temple he even made us lunch reservations at a restaurant in the mountain town of Arachova where we enjoyed a delicious meal with a stunning view before our trip back to Athens. We would definitely recommend Chris to anyone looking for safe reliable transportation for a lengthy day trip or a quick ride across the city.

Nickos was very punctual with a beautiful and comfortable Mercedes van for our private group of four. He waited patiently for a few minutes while we gathered ourselves together. Nicholas explained all about the history of Delphi and some of the myths of the gods and goddesses. He was also a great conversationalist as we asked 1 million questions some of them personal about him and what it’s like to live in Athens, Greece, what was like to grow up in his hometown. Etc. He was very patient with us and shared his own history and stories. Nicos was a safe and very confident driver. He even had cold water bottles for us, which we very much appreciated . He stopped for our comfort about an hour or an hour and a half into the journey up to Delphi. He picked a clean and pleasant stop. And then gave us perfect instructions about our visit to Delphi. We had about two hours in Delphi, which was a good amount of time, perfect for us. Nick was a great communicator. He then took us to a wonderful restaurant in Delphi town. He had made reservations for us at a table right at the windows with a wonderful view, overlooking the mountains down to the Ionian Sea. There were even Grapevines growing up to the window. We had a wonderful lunch there, very relaxed and tasty. They even gave us complementary baklava for dessert, which was some of the best that we’ve had and believe me we’ve tried a number of baklava already in Greece. Then the 2 Hour return Drive to Athens, during a quietly relaxed conversation time. Thank you, Nick for a stress-free day with perfect instructions and driving. You are a real treasure to your agency.

We had an amazing trip to Delphi! The views were spectacular and the site really interesting. Nico was a fantastic guide - an easy pickup directly from our Airbnb followed by a comfortable van ride and a stop for lunch at a taverna overlooking a valley of olive trees. We could not have asked for a better experience. Strongly recommend!

Our driver Christos was very personable and made our day enjoyable. He explained some of the history of Greece and some places to visit. He suggested a restaurant for lunch and some appetizers to try. We loved it!

It is a long day, but absolutely worth it. Depending on traffic it is 2 1/2 to 3 hours travel time each way, but our driver was very flexible and made sure that we were able to spend as much time as we wanted at the site and the museum. There is an excellent app that provides a guided audio tour so we did not at all miss having a guide inside the site. Our driver Christos was friendly, efficient and accommodating, and good company on the drive. Highly recommend both the site and the museum, as well as the audio guide app (HHGuide).

Great day trip from Athens, excellent mix of ancient history, archaeological sites, and beautiful coastal and mountain scenery. Our guide, George Remoundos, was wonderful and made the trip a highlight of our visit to Greece; he was knowledgeable and informative, personable and enjoyable, very accommodating of our preferences, requests, and special needs of one member of our party. Van we rode in was spotlessly clean and very comfortable.

The trip was great. While there is a degree of driving involved, our driver George made the drive interesting and informative and was a real pleasure to be with. We went to or thru a couple of cities and the oracle at Delphi and then to a very nice restaurant for a relaxing lunch. There were were appropriate rest stops or scenic areas for pictures. If we had to take the tour again. We would definitely recommend and use George..

This was an amazing day! Ask for George!!! George, our guide for the day was a fountain of information. He was on time, very welcoming with special breakfast bread. He knew the ann to nearly every question we asked. He asked us very engaging questions and adapted his presentation. He made recommendations for the museum & park. We’ve done many Viator excursions through the years and the Delphi day with George ranks at the top….. strongly recommend taking the day and go to Delphi. BTW… We were taken to a very amazing restaurant for traditional lunch (no provided in the package). Great food, great service and great views

Christos was a wonderful chauffeur and showed up early at our hotel. We chatted about Ancient Greece on the way and he guided us to the Delphi Park entrance. He was waiting at the exit when we finished, and took us to an authentic Greek restaurant in the modern village of Delphi. We highly recommend Christos for your next Delphi trip.

We had a fantastic time visiting Delphi from Athens and it was so much easier with somebody who picked us up and dropped us off at our door. Bill picked us up and drove us the 2.5 hours each way as well as giving us an overview of why Delphi was important before letting us have 3 hours to tour the museum and ruins. He also arranged a lunch reservation for us with great food and a spectacular view of the valley. We would highly recommend this tour to others.

Fantastic tour to the ancient Delphi site plus two nice villages. A great way to spend a day in Greece and experience the beauty of the country. We had the best time visiting Delphi. Nikos was a safe and excellent driver. The ride was extremely comfortable and he was punctual picking us up. He allowed us to take our time exploring Delphi and coordinated a licensed guide upon our arrival, and a delicious lunch spot with traditional Greek food and the most incredible views of the mountains after we finished. We learned so much and wouldn’t have changed a thing!
