Corinth Canal, Mycenae, Nafplio And Epidaurus Private Tour From Athens

We had the pleasure of touring Greece with Christos, and it was truly one of the highlights of our trip! He took us to Meteora, Delphi, Nafplio, and all around the beautiful city of Athens. Christos was not only an excellent driver but also incredibly knowledgeable. He took the time to explain the history and stories behind every place we visited, making each experience even more special. He was so kind, patient, and thoughtful, and most importantly, he made us feel safe and comfortable throughout the entire journey. His warm personality and wonderful company made every drive enjoyable. We couldn't have asked for a better person to accompany us during our time in Greece! We highly recommend Christos to anyone visiting Greece. Thank you for your outstanding service and for making our trip so memorable. We will never forget it!

This was the worst private tour that I had ever booked with Viator. The driver had a dearth of knowledge that he shared with us. Totally a disaster- would do better by hiring a Uber driver. Don’t waste your time or money in this tour. Also Viator doesn’t stand behind their bookings. Avoid at all cost- try a different tour group.

This was actually our 2nd private transfer with LS tours during our time in Greece. We were greeted with the best tour guide around, Alex, who shared his knowledge that brought the beautiful scenery of antiquity to life. We had another wonderful meal with recommendation by Alex with wonderful views of Nafplio with a gelato treat to end! Although we had seen Alex 2 days prior in the same vehicle, he greeted us on this day with a spotless vehicle and provided waters! Alex knew all of the special places to show us on the journey that I'm not sure just any tour guide would know. LS tours is certainly top notch.

This is the 3rd tour I’ve booked with LS Tours and the experience has always been great. Good communication and quick replies to queries. (We wanted to adjust the itinerary and they were very accommodating and made helpful suggestions so we could get the most from the tour.) The tour was brilliant we were lucky with exceptional weather, and Alex, our driver would drop us at the entrance and was there to pick us up. Alex was also knowledgeable about each site as well as other bits of interest we passed along the way. Definitely worth it - a thoroughly enjoyable day!

Great tour. Our driver (George) was a wealth of information and wonderful company. He is not a tour guide, as clearly stated in the tour description, but he had more information than we could absorb in one day. He was flexible with scheduling so we could do the sites in the order that worked us. Everything revolved around our wants and needs. Our tour started at 9AM, as scheduled, and we returned to our hotel at 6 PM. We had plenty of time at each stop since George let us visit the sites at our own pace. Be prepared for lots of walking and some steep inclines. I can highly recommend this tour

You can pack so much into a day with this trip. Our guide, George, was excellent. Took us to all the best spots and closest drop offs. Lunch at Bounos Fish Tavern in Nafplio was one of the best meals I’ve had in Greece. Epidaurus is the highlight although the Corinth Canal and Mycenae are a close 2nd and 3rd. We cancelled a trip to Delphi to do this one. We are glad we did. More sights, less time driving.

Our recent private tour with our driver Alex was an unforgettable adventure that merits a full five stars! From the start, Alex’s professionalism, friendliness, and deep knowledge of the area's history made the trip exceptional. We began at the Corinth Canal, a must see engineering marvel. Given that we had already visited Nafplion, Alex expertly suggested that we visit Ancient Corinth instead which allowed us to also visit the Acrocorinth fort. Mycenae was a highlight, with its fascinating archaeological sites and the legendary Lion’s Gate. Finally, at Epidaurus, we were captivated by the ancient theater's perfect acoustics and stunning architecture. I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to explore these historical treasures. Five stars!

George was a very good guide!! We had a great day. After 2 amazing tours the days before - this just wasn’t as amazing. The places were great - it was a longer day than anticipated.

This was one of my favorite days in Greece! I was VERY surprised how beautiful it was! The day provides everything- from gorgeous scenery, fascinating history, the Mediterranean Sea,etc. It is a must do! It was much more interesting than Delphi and even the Aegean, Poros& Hydra day trips.

My family and I (all adults) had a wonderful time on this tour. We learned a lot from our guide Alex about the history of the areas we were visiting. He was clearlt knowledgeable about the history and answered all of our many questions. We had plenty of time to visit each location and never felt rushed to get back to the vehicle and head to the next stop. We saved lunch in Nafplio for last at Alex's recommendation and had plenty of time to enjoy a leisurely lunch and stroll through town. It's really charming with many small shops of local artisans. We also had a convenient stop along the way for restrooms, coffee, and some small snacks. Overall, this was a very easy and enjoyable way to explore the Peloponnese region and learn some of its important history. I would highly recommend!

Really enjoyed the beauty of the Corinth Canal. The fortress at Mycenae was the biggest I had ever seen and the scenery was amazing.

George was a very good guide. He shared his knowledge of the area with us and made sure we had enough time to take in all the sights. We especially enjoyed the peaceful time outside of the city. We have taken many tours before and we were pleasantly surprised that Mauricio was much more than a driver. He was an excellent guide and described in depth the history of Orvieto and Bagnoregio. Our driver Nikos was so accommodating with everything, provided us with many options at each site and left timing up to us. The best was we were having a late lunch with traffic beginning to build for the 2 hour ride to Athens and we asked Nikos how much time we can have for a quick meal - his reply “this is your lunch, sit down, enjoy, relax, and eat. I will be here when you are done!” By the way all of the sites were beautiful and well worth the full day.

Tholes was our driver for the day. Overall the day was amazing and exceeding our expectations! We saw all the major points of interest from Corinth Canal to Epidaures. Having lunch by the pier in Nefplio was probably the most memorable experience I’ve had with my significant other. Tholes was very accommodating and flexible. He was always providing us with water. I would highly recommend this tour!

Nikos was our official guide and did an amazing job not only driving and giving us pertinent detailed information about the sites we were going to tour, but also had such a caring and compassionate personality, very patient and sensitive to the needs of each guest. We also had the added bonus of having Tolis also join the trip as a trainee. He did not interfere, but rather added to the conversations and questions we had, giving us valuable input from his own perspective. He is ready to be out on his own independently giving exceptional tours. Nikos is so professional in his driving proficiency but even more so in hie engaging personality and sharing such intuitive information about the city and culture along the way. He was is such a confident, knowledgeable, and patient driver and while not a licensed guide to give us detailed tours of the sites and museums, he gave us valuable tips and things to pay particular attention to in each segment of our trip. He didn’t not rush our group, even though we got off schedule due to the immense amount of information and wonder we were trying to absorb. This tour offers so much for both adults and children. It is the right length, however is a very full day due to the amount of driving from site to site involved. No part is boring or tedious and if members of your group want to spend more or less time at a particular location, or even at lunch, then Nicols is very accommodating. For some younger travelers, there is a way to do thing faster and Nicols always have cold refreshing water waiting when his customer’s hop back on board for the next part of the journey. He is proactively and alert, and very conscientious about how he carries himself. The van was comfortable for 6 customers,, adults and almost to full teen sizes in our group. This is an ideal company for an amazing adventure exploring historical and very picturesque areas outside of Athens. I truly believe that Nicols made a difference above and beyond other companies out there who may offer similar tours, due to his skills, personalities, and ability to get a feel for the type of pace and food selections that his guest may be seeking. The resturant he recommended and took us to for lunch was a fabulous pick and one of the most memorable food and ambiance experience of our entire vacation. The resturant had excellent food and service with a variety of selections for several adults and children in our group. Our family strongly recommends this company! They would be excellent for a family, a couple, a bunch of friends, or even a corporate team wanting to do a memory making excursion together! We may have been quite tired when they smoothly got us back to our hotel door, but we were rejuvenated by the next morning with such exciting details to reflect upon, pictures and stories to share with extended family and friends, as well as lifelong memories to cherish. We are grateful for the fabulous time we had and for them taking such good care of us.

My husband enjoys history and appreciates fellow enthusiasts and we were so fortunate to have Pericles as our guide. He’s so knowledgeable & experienced, and his wonderful narration and lively conversation allowed us to have an immersive experience that made the tour extra special.

We signed up for a second tour day with Alex - who is very knowledgeable about Greek history and mythology. He created a full itinerary based on what we were interested in and made sure we were enjoying our experience. Alex is a great driver too!

We had a very interesting day with Costas as out tour guide driver. Getting to historic sites with a minimum of effort, in comfort all the way was a real advantage over large coach bus group tours. He made us feel welcome and checked in regularly so that the hot day was coped with easily. Finding us a good place for lunch in Nafplios was a bonus. We felt unhurried with ample time to enjoy the sights. A good day out of big city Athens. Recommended!

We were very pleased with this outing and enjoyed our driver very much. It was nice to have easy transportation to several sites but the independence to explore them on our own.

Andreas was prompt and provided excellent transportation for our trip. He is a gifted story teller and gave us a lot of information about each site as well as areas he drove through. I would definitely recommend Andreas and this company for professionalism and personality.

We had a good experience. Our tour operator was always right there with either the car or water. This tour is perfect if you want to personalize the length of time you spend at each location. There wasn’t a ton of history so you will need to do some of your own research.

LS Tours was amazing. We booked it at first to do Corinth/Nafplio/Mycenae. Firstly, they were flexible and willing to customize the tours to our needs. Aside, we were traveling with 2 kids (ages 3 and 7 months). They brought a booster without me asking. Panosh came to pick us up. He was amazing, informing us of much needed information at each site and providing flexibility. Internet and cold water aboard during transportation is a definite plus. After taking LS Tours, we continued to use them almost daily, each driver was polite, timely and altogether awesome. Would really warmly recommend LS Tours for anything related to touring or simply transportation to the ports/airport. Side story, during a trip back from the port, my sister was not feeling great and was in need of tissues. Without asking, our driver that day Peter, pulled over at a kiosk, ran in and grabbed tissues for her. First class service is the defining description of this company and the price is great as well

These guys are great . They are all about convenience and will do whatever necessary to make the client happy . Driver was friendly and personable and the vehicle was a brand new Mercedes. This is what you need to book if you need history packed in 1 day .

All places are incredible: EpidauroTheatre was the best place, but the rest of them are worth to be visit. Don’t doubt to do this tour if you are in Athens. The transport was also good, as expected
