Classical Athens Segway Tour

Vanna was a wonderful guide and customized our tour since we were the only two booked. Saw things we have never seen and it was magical.

As a couple well beyond retirement age we were a little apprehensive about riding the Segway. Not to worry, we were given good instructions ana lesson before heading out. There was no problem. The company also has 4 wheelers if you are not happy with the Segway.

Athens is such a big hilly city, exploring by Segway was an easy, fun way to cover ground quickly. The Segways were easy to use and very comfortable. Varna was our guide and she was kind, informative-and made the tour very fun. She knew exactly where to stop for photo opportunities and coached us how to pose. It’s amazing how much we saw and learned in two hours. I highly recommend!

None of us had used a Segway before, so had a 30 minute lesson on how to use before we set off. Staff were fantastic, nice steady pace and took us to some great spots for photos which were uncrowded, as well as the tour guide giving us some wonderful explanations. Would highly recommend!

We had a bit of an issue getting to the meet up because of an unfortunate explosion very close to their offices but cleanup was under control and the rest of our tour was good. Michael was our guide. Exuberance and education turned our 2 hours into 3. A bit too much but certainly better than shorter, eh? Nice group, helpful guide made for a good excursion.

Great tour of historic Athens. The guide was very nice and knowledgeable!! Loved all the places we saw and the tour is just long enough. Definitely recommend it!!!

Everyone was so friendly and caring. We were well trained and looked after throughout the trip. Stelios was a wonderful host and very funny such a DEAR!!

Everything about the experience was great! Easy check in. Prompt Segway training. And we were off to enjoy some of the most amazing sights of Ancient Athens with Vanna, the best tour guide! She gave us great info, took pics for us, made sure we were hydrated (and gelato-died) and even helped us work out dinner reservations. We will be taking the Modern Athens Segway tour with her also because we enjoyed it so much!

Really great. We had planned on segways, but they had these 4 wheel devices of a similar nature and they were great. You could see the envy from the people walking in the heat and on the cobblestones wishing they had one. Start your visit to Athens on these the first day, the guide will give you inside info on times and locations to beat the crowds and lines, and it's an easy way to id places you'll want to come back and spend time at.

I has never ridden a Segway and was a little nervous, but my guide was amazing! He made sure I was comfortable and with a quick class, I was ready to go! This was such a great way to see the sights of Athens. Our guide was so accommodating. There were 4 of us and he customized the tour for us. 10/10!! Do this tour, it was amazing!!

Great tour around the Akropolis and Athens with our great guide Monelis. We really enjoyed our 2 hours around and discovered some great neighborhoods that we returned to later

We LOVED our tour. It was day one of our trip and showed us all we needed to as an introduction to the main sites. Vana was a brilliant guide and we felt safe all the way round. If you have any doubts whether to do it or not please dismiss them, you should do it!

very friendly and professional. Vana was our warm friend in 2 minutes and we enjoyed seeing in about 2 hours most important attractions in Athens. we love Segway tours and this time was one of the best. to whom that feel like afraid from driving a Segway - i am 68 years old and drove it like i was born with.

Very good experience! The guide makes you stop to the principal attractions around the acropole and even tells you the best places to eat. Would really recommend.

Good looking guy with a pony tail?) was so informative and took us to places we would never had seen. Excellent tour with a very informative and friendly tour guide. Segways are brilliant to cover a lot of ground in the heat and see everything. On the tour we were shown all ancient sites as well as the local markets, tavernas and shopping areas. We were also offered great recommendations of local places to eat which proved excellent!

We love segway tours and we try to do them in as many cities as we can. With all those experiences, this was the longest, most thorough segway tour we have ever done. The guide, Gina, is an absolute sweetheart and really helped us make the most of our time in Athens. I would absolutely do this tour again!!

Tour guide was great! Quick training on the Segway (very easy!) Best way to see the sights & decide which ones you'd like to return to. Easy on the feet too.

Our guide Rania was so knowledgeable. We proceeded at an ideal pace. Enough time to see everything but not rushed. And my Segway was absolutely flawless.. Thoroughly recommended.

A great different way to see the city. Got to see a lot of historic sites and places we never would have gotten to see had we not went on this tour. The tour takes you to the base of the Acropolis. It is separate to actually go up into the acropolis; Initially I thought this tour took you up in the Acropolis. Don't be intimidated by the segways, they are actually very easy to ride and you get a quick class on how to ride before the tour.

What a perfect way to take in the sights! This was my first time on a Segway and I was very surprised how easy it was! Our tour guide was the BEST! So much knowledge. We were able to stop for a few minutes at each of the main attractions to take pictures and soak in the views. Just what we wanted!! If you want to take time after this tour to go into the Acropolis be sure to plan your time accordingly. We opted to go and have an authentic Greek lunch at a cafe before heading back to the ship. Would definitely recommend this tour!

Exploring the Acropolis area with Segway saved us from lots of walk. Though the tour did not go into the Parthenon, but from outside we could see the surroundings & overlooked it from the Areopagus - Hill. Throughout the 2 hour tour, our guide showed us around Monastiraki Square, Plaka, Square Mitropoleos & helped us to took pictures. He was friendly but regretfully we forgot his name.

Was our first time on a Segway and it's really easy. The tour was very good and or guide very friendly. Really recommended it.

Very informative guide. No microphones and headphones just spoke to us at stops. Lots of segway action. Let us go earlier than our scheduled time. Was prepared for rain with ponchos.

We were the only 2 on the tour, so it was up close and personal. Our guide was very knowledgeable and easy to understand. This is the way to get around the acropolis area without all the walking up and down the hills. All in all, a very fun outing.

First time segway rider 😬. The staff did a great job at giving lessons & easing anxiety. After everyone was comfortable riding Katie whisked us away. Katie was very knowledgeable & an excellent photographer ( bonus for a solo traveler). Highly recommend the tour.

Our age range was from teens to mid 60’s and the Segway tour was perfect for everyone. Vicky was very patient in explaining in how to use the Segway and other staff members made sure we all had a go before the tour started and were confident in the segways use. Only 2 of us had been on them before. You can leave your large bags in lockers at the Segway shop. Vicky was an excellent guide, very informative throughout the trip which took us around the Acropolis and other places of interest and she was very knowledgeable about Greek history. There were plenty of shady stops and we parked up at various locations to look at the sights and partake in an ice cream at Divinci’s! You rode the Segway’s over a variety of surfaces but always felt quite safe and in control. An excellent 2hr tour to orientate yourself around Athens and so much fun! Far better than walking in the hot sun!

Our first time on Segways, picked it up quickly, not difficult at all. Our guide was lovely, lots of interesting information and we really felt like we'd seen a big chunk of Athens without the leg work, it's very hot here so zooming about on a Segway was great! Our time over ran by about 15 minutes but we didn't feel we were rushed back, we even stopped for ice cream! 100% definitely doing more Segway, I want one!

We booked this not knowing what to expect really. The first 5 mins during the training I was initially anxious that about controlling the Segway but it really is as easy as the staff tell you. The trip was thoroughly enjoyed by ouselves and 2 teens and we would recommend this company and tour 100%. Thanks for the great experience and if we return to Athens we will be back!

A really good trip around Athens. We were collected by taxi from our cruise ship and taken to Athens Segway Tours. Nice small group, tuition given before we started and then we were off. Great tour of Athens and our guide Vicky was very informative. Definitely recommended only criticism was that we wanted to do more.

My teenager and I joined 2-hour segway tour with Ellie as hour guide followed by 1.5 hours walking tour of Acropolis with Stephanos. Together it was called Ultimate Acropolis Tour. We had a blast! Ellie took us to many Athens neighborhoods explaining history along the way and making stops for taking amazing photos. We covered so much in 2 hours on segway, we would never have been able to do it on foot! Ellie was funny and knowledgeable and went out of her way to make everyone happy! After the Segway tour Stephanos took us on a walking tour of Acropolis, which started at 6pm. By that time it wasn't too hot and we made many stops along the way for rest and in depth history lessons as well as pictures. Stephanos was very passionate about the history and his city, he made sure we had a great understanding of events and historic buildings by the end of the tour. We took amazing pictures of Acropolis, Pantheon and Athens at sunset hour. We highly recommend Athens Segway Tours and their guides!

We were on the walking street near the Acropolis about to head up for viewing when approached by Constantine. Normally we aren't too thrilled with vendors off the street just approaching us, but he was friendly and allowed the kids to give the Segway a try. They all caught on quickly. He gave us 2 free with 2 paid rides. They had a great reputation on Trip Advisor, so we gave it a try. I think it will be one of the best highlights of our vacation. The kids loved riding around - and it sure beat walking in the 100F heat!! We somehow missed our tourguide's name, but she was great as well. Would definitely recommend this tour to friends!!
