Great welcome from our guide Vasilis. Great communucation about transfers and activities. A fantastic trip up the athenian riviera to see Poseidon's temple, the lake, enjoy quality time on the beach and finally the lovely seafood restaurant + local desert. Vasilis was so generous with his knowledge and time. We had a fantastic day. He even gave us great tips and options for our road trip to Delphi & Meteora.

I had an absolutely incredible day thanks to this tour! Vasilis, an exceptionally kind guide, picked me up from my hotel in his brand-new, spacious van. Our first stop was the Lake Vouliagmeni, followed by the iconic Temple of Poseidon at Cape Sounion. Then, we enjoyed a breathtaking beach. The whole journey was filled with engaging historical and mythological insights, and we ended the day watching a gorgeous sunset before returning to the hotel. Truly a perfect experience!

What a fantastic day with Bill who picked us up directly from our hotel and brought us to many beautiful sites along the coastline of Athens!! Such a great wealth of knowledge and never a boring moment Bill went above and beyond to explaining all things and tell all stories well!! Would definitely recommend him for tours to cape Souniou and all the sites nearby!!

This was the best tour we could’ve possibly imagined while staying in Athens. Roadwaves Odyssey is the tour service provided by the hosts of the AirBnb we stayed at - which was also a 10/10 experience with a picture perfect view of the Acropolis. Vasilis was our guide and he was on time, very excited, and drove a clean and comfortable upscale van. We started our journey at Lake Vouliagmeni and listened to the coolest story of the history of the site. Next we drove to Sounion to explore my personal favorite - The Temple of Poseidon. Vasilis was sure to explain the history of the site and some of the Greek Mythology attached to the gorgeous temple and surrounding landscapes/points of interest. After we got a coffee/beer at the temple, we went over to a local beach with gorgeous water and a beaming sun. Vasilis brought chairs/games/beach necessities for us which was extremely thoughtful. He also booked us a reservation at a beach tavern on the beach for a fantastic lunch that we will remember forever. Just when we thought the trip was over, Vasilis asked us if we wanted to try the best homemade Ekmek in Greece. We were stuffed from lunch but of course we had to try it and I ensure you it was worth the pit stop. The cream was the freshest I’ve tasted in my life, and I can confidently say it was the best dessert I’ve every tried. All in all, I could not recommend this tour more. The authenticity Vasilis shared with us was phenomenal. If you have the choice between a generic Athens walking tour or a trip with Roadwaves Odyssey - I would strongly recommend Roadwaves Odyssey. This is a trip we will never forget. Thank you Vasilis!

This tour was absolutely amazing! We visited great views, food, the beach and more!! It was only me and my boyfriend that signed up for that day but Bill still gave us the tour and was unbelievably enthusiastic about the history and how well we were enjoying the tour. He was so kind and welcoming! I strongly recommend!!!

We travelled with Bill and George on April 2025 day trip to Meteora. It was very comfortable and pleasant trip with Bill and George. Bill’s english is perfect and it was so educational during the entire ride to Meteora. He was a perfect guide and George was so kind and humerus. During our stay in Athens this day trip was our best day! We had a wonderful lunch together with very delicious local food! It was so memorable experience! If we visit Athens again, we definitely will contact Bill and George again for Airbnb and day trips. Thank you!!!

When in Athens we booked a private trip with Roadwaves Odyssey on one of their Athenian coastline tours. Communication was excellent with Bill, everything was so straightforward and Bill delivered on everything he promised and more. We began our day by visiting Stavros Niarchos Cultural Foundation Center enjoying the fantastic views over the city, our next stop was Lake Vouliagmeni, which was beautiful and the amazing Temple of Poseidon with its breathtaking views. On the way back we stopped for lunch and a swim. We had a luxurious air conditioned mini-van as we travelled and the very helpful and informative Bill shared the history of his wonderful Country with us. The whole day was fantastic thank you so much Bill.

There are a few options available but we visited Stavros Niarchos Cultural Foundation Center with amazing views over the city, Lake Vouliagmeni, which was beautiful and the amazing Temple of Poseidon. On the way back we stopped for a lazy lunch at a wonderful seafood tavern right on the beach. The scenery driving along the coast was as amazing as we’ve grown to expect anywhere in Greece and provided a welcome change from the bustle of Athens. For the trip we had a luxurious mini-van that gave great views as we travelled. The spacious interior, tinted windows and comfy seats made the experience feel even more special and our driver was really accommodating and informative. The whole day was fantastic, a real treat and we would highly recommend it.

A private tour with an amazing guy who shared many stories about greece and the areas we visited. He clearly had a passion for what he does and was telling us and it showed. The sites we visited were amazing with stunning views. I highly recommend the tour.

Our guide was not only distinguished by excellent knowledge of the local area, but he also understood the mythological and historical background perfectly. I was able to have really amazingly in-depth background conversations with him, which was made possible by his excellent English. Furthermore, he had a fine sense of the needs of the fellow travelers young people without wanting to serve them unpleasantly in any way. So overall outstanding!

Beautiful tour. We visited Cultural Center of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation, Lake Vouliagmeni and the Temple of Poseidon, all very fascinating places enhanced by favorable weather. We were accompanied by Vasilis who told us the stories of these wonderful places. The transport was with a private van equipped with all amenities. Ideal if you are in Athens for a few days and want to visit places even outside the historic center of the city. We had a great time, tour recommended!
